2004 Ford Escape review
over 220K miles and the only thing I've had to replace is the battery and alternator, serpentine belt, spark plug and gasket( which I'm proud to say I did myself). As with any car it has its particular problems to look out for but if you do regular maintenance this vehicle lasts.watch out for the rear wheel wells the 1st gens are known to deteriorate

Mason made me a reasonable offer after I emailed pictures, then emailed me a Bill of Sale so I knew all the costs before I arrived. When I got there they took my 2016 Tesla Model S for a test drive and upped their trade-in offer by $2000 without any negotiation by me. They look like a typical corner used car lot with cars packed in, but they have a lot of nice cars. They listed my trade-in at a very attractive price. It will be a great deal for someone. Pro Tip: If you're coming from the north, don't get off I-94 at Cicero. Take the next exit east and enjoy a more relaxing drive to North Avenue.
2013 Ford Fusion review
I owned the 2013 Fusion SE with the 2.0 Liter Turbo engine for 10 years, and I loved it. It even had paddle shifters! It got me where I wanted to go, never left me stranded, even started right up in 6-degree weather on a trip last Dec. where it spent the night outside. Everything worked reliably - only replacements have been battery & tires. I kept it well-maintained and garaged when home, so that helps.

2013 Ford Focus review
In Aug 2016, purchased the 2013 Fucus Hatch SE used in 2016, with 13,000 miles on it. With 35-37mpg on average with mixed driving. Early on OK without issues. Around 40K miles the transmission electronic control modual, ECM, needed an adjustment. The transmission is a learning transmission. It will learn how you drive and adjust shift points as your driving habits are learned by the transmission. My wife's driving habits are put it in drive and GO! My habits are different. Every now and then I will drive her car and shift the transmission as a manual drive, since the transmission is a manual drive transmission which has been automated. The engine and transmission only makes a subtle gurgle noise when as the car shifts from 2nd to 1st as the car comes to a stop. The car is sporty to drive, sensitive steering, good braking. It reminds be of a less expensive VW Golf. Currently we have 140K miles and the only wear on the car that shows is a failure of the heat shield and since I am a mechanically inclined guy who putters around fixing what is broken, there is wear on the clutches in the transmission, all due by my wife's driving habits of being a speedy driver. Since we already have it and its paid off, I will keep it. I will only purchase a Golf or Jetta when the transmission or electronic control module hiccups. I do realize the ECM has a recall if you're below 1450K miles.

2009 Ford Focus review
This is the second 2009 Ford focus SE that I’ve owned. The first one had 147,000 miles on it with nothing needed but regular items. Tires, battery, regular oil changes at 5000 mile intervals and never used any oil between changes. If I kept my foot out of it, I got 38 to 41 miles mpg, if I pushed it I still got 35 at 80 mph. This one has 79,000 miles on it and I have not done anything but tires. It’s nearly as clean as off the showroom floor, as I keep my cars clean. I am very happy with this car. Depreciation is so low now, insurance is low, no payments with interest, make this an exceptionally cheap car to own. Reability has been second to none for me. Highly recommended but very hard to find a nice one with a regular maintenance performed and no rust. You can’t go wrong with the value of this car, great commuter car or for a new teenage driver. It’s rated safe. It’s also very comfortable to drive for a whole day.

2011 Ford Fusion review
Update from JJ Newark NJ. Now have my blue 2011 Ford Fusion for almost 2 years. Best car 🚙 I have ever had . Just had issue with door handles because of a plastic part but mechanic says this is common on this car .Only thing I have serviced is transmission @55;000 miles and they reprogrammed it.As a result of that service car is definitely running much smoother. I change oil every 5000 miles and air filter s 10,000 mile intervals: Car now has 65,000 miles and runs brand new. Love ❤️ it. Thanks Ford for making a super automobile 🚙🇮🇪🍀🙏

2012 Ford Escape review
Owned my 1012 Escape LTD AWD for 14 years. No major problems whatsoever. It has towed household items in the large UHaul trailer with ease. It has hauled home construction items in the back and on top. It has done long road trips. And, with all that, has averaged over 23 MPG! Faithful Long Term Vehicle...Many Miles to Go!

2006 Ford Explorer review
I got my 2006 ford explorer eddie bauer Ltd. In 2008 used. I love it. It's 2024 I has the oil changes regularly (it's tells me) which is wonderful. Yes I needed tires obviously. But the only repairs it needed since I have it was the gear shift. The front axle got changed last year. And now the rear axle needs changing and they say some pieces are rusting. Now I did have an issue with it stopping when I would go over a speed bump. So took it to a repair shop close to work. BIG mistake. First they said it was a silinod (spelled wrong) Replaced Then they said it was the fuel tank. Replaced Then they said take it to Ford. They didn't know but gave me a list of things that will need done eventually. Spare plugs, etc. Finally after a month I got angry and took it up to Trump motors (repair shop) where my dad deals. And it ends up that in my ford explorer I have a emergency shut off. So on the passenger side front panel area. There is a pump button. If it happens just wait 2 minutes give it 2 or 3 pumps and start it up. They did/showed me that for free. So expensive lesson. But I absolutely love my Ford explorer. Wish I could keep it forever. But I realize it is older and now rear axle and rusted pieces, driver leather seat needs replaced and liner coming down. So I'm thinking I need to update. Hoping to get something similar. 2008 Ford Explorer review
I have had this car for about two years, the V8 version. It is one of the best cars I've ever had. It has tons of space and is really reliable I wouldn't hesitate taking it anywhere. Haven't had to do anything major only routine oil changes and such. The explorer won't be the best on gas but if you're looking for something dependable this one is it.

this car is a very good first car for a teenager and as a teenager whos first car is this car i think im qualified to say that. its good on gas, has plenty of speed, and has a pretty great sound system for just a stock sound system
