2023 Ford F-150 review
2023 F150 Lariat. Just bought this used so these are my first impressions. So far very happy with the truck. Comfortable and handles nicely. V-6 seems very responsive. My issues at this point are related to my ability to setup this truck the way I want it. I am lucky that it came with the feature for automatic shutoff every time you stop for a red light already permanently removed. I would hate that feature if it had it. There is a lot of other features I would just as soon not have that I have had varying levels of success in turning off. Automatic lane keeping is one. While I was able to turn it off in the settings, it still interferes with setting cruise control. When I try to turn cruise control on it sets lane keeping anyway and I have to turn it off with another button press, while showing a stupid truck icon on the dash instead of my speed. I have to press an OK button to turn lane keeping off, then it will set the cruise control. All these button presses and having to look at the dash while doing this are very distracting and increases the time I'm not looking at the road, actually making the truck less safe. You really have to pick your time for setting cruise control. The automatic braking is another dangerous feature in my view. Thankfully I was able to turn that one off. The truck will beep 2 times if the engine is running and you get out, like to check your mailbox. It is irritating at best, not just for me, but for my neighbors, especially early in the morning or late at night. There is no mute button on the steering wheel for the radio, that I can find at least. I had this feature on other trucks and found it very helpful. Reverse brake assist makes no sense to me at all. I turned it off, but it is another one that puts a warning message on the dash to tell me that. I find the warning messages for the features I have turned off distracting and useless. These are my first impressions, there will probably be more later.

2018 Ford F-150 review
I bought this truck used from Long-Lewis in Hoover, Alabama, in July 2025. I like the performance, gas mileage, and drive modes of the 3.5 Liter Twin Turbo with 10 Speed transmission. Lots of interior space, lots of interior and exterior lighting in the right places.

2018 Ford F-150 review
Eight years in my Ford truck. I love it. I looked at GM trucks (Chevy & GMC), still nowhere nears as comfortable as a Ford. Yes I’ve had all the known issues but carried warranties for my truck so transmission has been overhauled. Cam phasers twice (Covered by Ford one and Warranty 2nd time). Just overhauled the front end (bushings, control arm assembly, etc…). Truck still runs like new and rides even better now than when I bought, she is finally broken in and I love my truck. For taller drivers like me, Ford is way to go. Ford has more cabin space than any other truck out there. Ford trucks have the best styling and more towing capacity than anything else in the mkt. Next truck will either be a Raptor or F-250 super duty.

2022 Ford F-150 review
2022 F150 PowerBoost 3.5 twin turbo absolutely hauls xxx with phenomenal gas mileage on a 30 gallon tank. I’ve gotten a true 600 and 700 miles out of a tank of gas when it’s in Eco mode it will run on battery alone if you’re on flat level ground and maintain your speed that’s how they obtain so many miles out of a tank full of gas probably one of the best F1 50s I’ve owned and I’ve had several of them. If you leave it in tow Haul mode it will disengage the auto stop start so the vehicle remains on. It’s been absolutely bullet proof with zero issues. If I’m not driving the Dually Diesel F350 I’m driving this..

2020 Ford F-250 review
I own a beautiful Blue Jean color F 250. The truck rides nice and gives a commanding view of the road. It’s reliable and quiet. The only issue I have is a malfunctioning door lock. It stopped working within 2 years of use. My dealership was not very helpful or caring. That’s is a downer. But I love my truck.

Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

I want to thank Karl Bush, Amanda Stone, Curtis Luce, and Mr. Reggie for making my service trip to Wray Ford in January easy, timely, and peaceful. Karl made scheduling my service appointment for my side-view mirror easy. He listened to my concerns and found a time that worked best for me to get my vehicle to the shop to be inspected. Before contacting me with the repair details, Karl connected with the shop to obtain an anticipated date for when the part could be ordered and delivered, along with the pricing, allowing me to plan accordingly. He went above and beyond to ensure I knew Wray Ford was using quality parts and nothing that would be considered after-market. When I arrived at the Service Department, Karl was waiting on the sidewalk to greet and check in customers coming with their vehicles. Although I had visited the shop previously, Karl ensured I knew where to go after checking in my vehicle. He also remembered when I planned to arrive and told me he had already scheduled my trip home. He said Curtis Luce would be driving me home. After walking through the Service Department door, Amanda Stone was behind the counter, greeting everyone with a huge smile, gracious attitude, and a warm welcome. It was not my first trip to Wray Ford, yet Amanda always makes everyone walking through the door feel part of the Wray Ford Family. The atmosphere is welcoming, the TV is on, and refreshments are available. She doesn't just sit behind the counter and stare; she engages with you. She exhibits the same attitude when you call the service department. I have never noticed if she's having a down day during my visits because she happily makes you and those around her her focus. Shortly after taking a seat, Karl opened the door to tell me Curtis was ready to drive me home. The wait was less than five minutes, which was great. Once the shuttle vehicle door opened, Curtis greeted me with a smile and a wonderful personality. He had taken time to warm the vehicle before picking me up since it was cold that morning. He asked if there was a particular radio station I wanted to listen to and alerted me to my ETA. During our drive, we exchanged pleasant conversations. It felt like I was riding with a friend. I felt extremely comfortable. Plus, he drove very cautiously. He also bragged about how much he enjoys working at Wray Ford alongside his teammates, which supported my opinions about Karl and Amanda. When we arrived at my house, Curtis said he would likely see me again once my vehicle was ready because he would drive over in a separate vehicle to pick up Mr. Reggie after he returned my car. Once my car was ready, I received a call from Karl and an emailed copy of my invoice so I could review the breakdown before submitting my payment. Afterward, Karl said I would receive a phone call about the scheduled delivery of my vehicle. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from Mr. Reggie. He was delightful and pleased to assist me with the return of my car. It was not my first time dealing with Mr. Reggie. He was just as nice the very first time I met him. When he arrived, we exchanged nice pleasantries and laughter about the day. I cannot say it enough. 2024 Ford Maverick review
Only has had one glitch, the passenger window switch died after about a month, but that's what the warranty is for, and they fixed it. The hybrid is rated at 38 mpg I think, but I'm getting closer to 48, I log my mileage, so that's a reliable number. Front wheel drive so you don't have the light rear end traction issues. Feels and drives more like a car, but when you want to load stuff the bed is there. Unless you want a big heavy duty truck, which it isn't, there's nothing not to love about it.

2025 Ford F-250 review
I ordered my 2025 Super Duty Platinum and it came in the end of January. I usually custom order my vehicles and get all the extras on my trucks. The Godzilla V8 engine is a monster 7.3 liter with about 700 hp and 600 lbs of torque The cameras are remarkably clear and I can drive with the rear/side camera views live. Great safety feature. This truck is meant to tow heavy loads. Fuel mileage is not great but it’s as I expected.I feel the turning radius seems tighter/better than the F150 I used to have. I love the onboard scale in the truck bed. Very convenient. I have a g Factory generator also. I always put in a Line X spray in bed liner and have a roll n lock top…out of sight out of mind.The easy pull out steps make easy access to bed contents.A big Ranch Hand grill was installed to replace factory bumper because I drive in north Florida deer country. There is one thing I’d change, Ford used to give multiple interior colors and with my Platinum package it limited me to grey 🤦♀️. for a very expensive vehicle I should have had interior color choices. So I really don’t have much to complain about. This truck is a very strong towing machine. I also had dual exhaust installed, nice mud flaps and a different larger air filter.Such a great rumble sound now. It’s my fourth Super Duty and I’m very impressed with all of my options including the two front seats that totally recline if I had to sleep in this beauty. Never have I seen or driven a nicer truck.

2017 Ford Edge review
If you plan on buying a ford edge from 2017, or anywhere between 2015-18, I implore you to make sure that you buy a used one. Why, because if it has over 100k miles on it, there's a good chance it had a good gen 1 engine in it or already had the cracked gen 1 engine in it replaced with a new gen 2 engine in it that won't crack anytime soon. This is a known problem with the ford edges and other models that come with that specific first generation model inline 4-cylinder between the 80k-100k miles marker, Ford knows about it and a recall should be issued but they won't be doing that anytime soon. So, if you by a ford edge with under 60k miles on it like I did, immediately purchase the 50k miles powertrain warranty at designated ford dealer, and if the car is a CPO get the 100k miles warranty no matter what the miles on it currently are, you no idea if the engine you got is going to crack, so make sure you get the warranty plan that will cover replacing the engine and anything else that goes wrong with the needed number of miles to cover the 80k-100k miles marker; my edge almost made it to 100k miles before it cracked. And because the new engine put so much back pressure on the old transmission, the engine killed the transmission, so I got that replaced too! $205 deductible later, and I essentially got an entire new car, I'll drive the thing till the wheels fall off at this point.

2022 Ford Escape review
I purchased used '22 Escape SE AWD two years old, low mileage and delighted with my dealer purchase. Upon extensive research, I was aware the loss of market value, which is why I purchased used. This vehicle is produced in volume as 'low-end' entry among 22 field competitors. Yes, there are several vehicles out there higher rated, more expensive, but my research validated highest cargo storage - highest mpg, for the reasonable market price. You can benefit from this depreciation by buying used! Some complain of the transmission, or slow pickup, or passenger door side panels. I have had no issues after 20,000 miles 6/2024 and get 31.3 mpg combined which is stellar!! A great value for the used car price-not new price. I would recommend as a reasonable value, HIGH capacity SUV can accommodate 4 airport passengers full size luggage is my first Ford of 21 cars purchased. Styling is very attractive, good assortment of safety features. Rear seats slide for extended passenger or cargo capacity.

2022 Ford Escape review
Love my 2022 SE PHEV. Purchased from Carmax. Comfortable cloth seats, rear seat legroom is great, electronics are way above average especially the iPhone connectivity. Large cargo space behind rear seat. Nice looking 18” wheels. Have only purchased two gas fill ups since Oct 2023. I really have no complaints.
