2026 Genesis GV80 review
I decided on the 2026 Genesis GV80 after test driving a Cadillac Vistiq and Escalade IQ as well as a Lexus TX and found the comfort, quietness, and ride quality far netter in the Genesis. The only vehicle that came close to the GV80 was the Hyundai Palisade Hybrid Caligraphy which I was trading in.

2026 Genesis GV70 review
This is my third Genesis GV70 and obviously I must love this vehicle. I have done side by side comparisons with Lincoln, Lexus, Infiniti and Audi and none offer what the GV70 does for the price. This is a great. luxurious ride and the Advanced model has more features than you could ever use!!

Currently waiting on a factory recall that has no fix yet. Car performs well. Service center has not been the best on occasion. Wait time has been relatively long because of long lines of cars waiting for service.

2026 Genesis GV80 review
Test drove many cars. I had a BMW x6 nice car. Test drove Mercedes GLE 350 and Lexus GX 350h but great cars. Of course Lexus mpg is great. But the 2.5 Prestige Genesis ride is amazing. The amenities included are far more than others. Massage seats are a pleasure and very comfortable. Yes not a sports car but it’s still 300 hp. Plus 3 years free maintenance and the warranty is much better. I hope it keeps meeting my expectations.

Regarding salesman Ernesto: Although I did not end up purchasing a Genesis I would like to provide an excellent recommendation for Ernesto. He was the kindest and most knowledge person out of all the dealerships we visited regarding knowledge about your line of autos (sales person) we have run across during this current car shopping escade we've been going through. I would have loved to have given Ernesto our business however I really wanted a rear view digital display mirror and the GV 60 doesn't offer that and the other vehicles that come with that feature in the Genisis line are just too big for me. After 3 trips to the dealership we wound up buying the used 2022 CX-9 we had been looking at all along. We appreciated the courtesy, professionalism, knowledge of the product, and minimal sales pressure of Taylor, the sales rep. He went out of his way to help us before, during, and after the selling process. The only reason for our review's less than perfect 5 is that a follow up email to obtain contract information, and a postal mailing of an owner's manual were both forgotten resulting in us having to make needless 25 mile drives back to the dealership. These were promised by a finance person, not the sales person.
2026 Genesis GV70 review
The Genesis GV70 we purchased new is delivering a on the promise of being an exceptional SUV. We have a GV80 and adding the GV70 to our corral has only deepened our appreciation for the Genesis brand. The GV70 is a great SUV and I look forward to driving it every day. Fit and finish are industry leading, and the driving comfort is exceptional. Handling are braking are superb. I have owned five Audis and our Genesis GV70 and GV80 deliver a better overall ownership experience. The Genesis brand has slightly different take on "luxury" than the Europeans, and I like it! If I needed another vehicle, I would go for another GV70. You will not be disappointed if you purchase a Genesis GV70, or any other Genesis vehicle.

2026 Genesis GV80 review
I have been thoroughly impressed with the level of detail and comfort the Genesis GV80 Prestige provides. Even the third row is not completely cramped for older children. The insane amount of amenities and technology provided is mind boggling. The ride is extremely comfortable and the SUV is pretty quick for an SUV. The interior is top notch with soft leather and nice touches throughout. The warranty is unmatched in luxury vehicles. It is an 11 on a scale of 0-10.

I was looking to replace my Saturn but had no idea what type of vehicle I wanted. I dread car lots, pushy sales staff and haggling on price. CarMax is different and a joy to work with. After checking out over a dozen different makes, models and features on their lot, I zeroed in on a 2015 Subaru CrossTrek. My brother checked the mechanics and after test driving we both felt this vehicle was a perfect fit for me. CarMax is unique. There is no pressure in purchasing. Rick Baker was excellent in answering our questions, helping with paperwork and providing me with 1.95% financing. Outstanding! I would definitely purchase another car here.
2025 Genesis GV70 review
A confirmed luxury small SUV with fit and finish of a German vehicle. Ergonomics as the driver is spot on. The menu can be just a bit confusing but you acclimate quickly. Steering and nimbleness is very good for an SUV. The 2.5 T was not my first choice but it is actually responsive and perky. If I could only get used to the squeal of a 4 cylinder. Interior is luxurious but advanced package is a must. Opt for the 6 cylinder if you can but it is not a game changer.

I came to Carmax looking for to test drive a Nissan Leaf I saw on cars.com. Actually, I tried another dealership first for the same type of car, but that dealer was closed on Sunday. CarMax is open seven days a week. That’s a plus if you, like me, have weekends off. I was able to get my credit pre-approved in just minutes. It turned out the Leaf wasn’t the car for me, but it’s neighbor, a Mercedes B Class was my glass slipper. Once I had decided which car I was buying, the process was really quick and easy. The representative asked a lot of probing questions to help confirm that I had researched the car I was buying (an all electric vehicle), which made me feel like he cared that I got the right car for me. It was a good experience and I’m very happy with my car.
2024 Genesis GV80 review
I’ve had a GLE and an Audi Q7 and this has truly been the only car I’ve bought and loved the longer I had it. The design to the technology is beyond what I was offered elsewhere at this price point.
