2000 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE review
Bought used in 06 with 64k.
Bought used in 06 with 64k. Now has 150k on it. Very good offroad capabilities. On the 3rd waterpump but they're easy to.replace. Mine has bad paint. The clearcoat on the roof of the cab peeled off & the paint around the windows began to peel & I repainted that myself. Transmission still works as it should but it feels like there's some slop going on with the output shaft. I've replaced the power window regulators 3 times on the driver side & twice on the pass side. Overall has been a good truck & still runs well. Not afraid to drive it anywhere.

2000 GMC Sierra 1500 SL review
Well built truck that constantly beats expectation
I was gifted a fully loaded 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 with 313k miles on it. The only issues I’ve encountered in the 15k miles I’ve had on it were minor besides an aftermarket compressor going out due to the shop not replacing the accumulator and condenser as well. It has a couple small rust spots on the driver side rocker panel and some spots where the clear coat has come off but for a truck this well traveled it’s in pretty great shape. Previous owner did a great job overall with the maintenance and I couldn’t be happier with this beasts performance.

Best truck I have ever owned or drove. Drove different makes at work and none will ever stand up to the 2000 GMC Sierra. Wished they were still made like this. Still going strong, have owned the truck for 21 years.

Most reliable truck I've ever owned.
This truck surpassed my expectations. It has over 300,000 miles and needs to be gone through from one end to the other BUT! It has always done whatever I have asked it to do. I've always maintained it and it has always taken care of me.
