Really appreciate the work of cars.com in locating a car possibility. The dealership was friendly and went to great lengths to answer all my questions about the subject vehicle, however, I felt they were a little to pushy and needed to make the deal that day
Great service !! Mr. Eddy Ledesma is a tremendous sales consultant. This is the 3rd vehicle I have bought from Toyota of Pharr and will keep coming back when needing a new vehicle. Mr. Ledesma is very informative about the Toyotas and does a great job in making you feel at ease. He made sure of what I was looking for and showed me several new Tundras with the options I was interested in. I never felt the hassle and pressure that many salesmen have when buying a new vehicle. I recommend Toyota of Pharr to anyone interested in buying a new Toyota, and recommend Eddy as a salesman, he is very knowledgeable and will you make feel comfortable.
I have bought 2 new cars from Clark Knapp and consider them the best new car dealers in the region. Service has also been excellent and no-pressure. This is the first used car I bought there, and the process was not as good. It was partially financed and I had a hard time getting straight answers from the dealer. He would ask me how much I could afford per month without giving me the total cost of financing. He could never tell me the financing percentage. He verbally underquoted the cost of an extended warranty by several hundred dollars and tried to push all kinds of extra costs on me. More typical of a used car dealer. Also, this is the first time I deal with them in the new location, so maybe something has changed. Stay focussed, take your time, and demand to see the specifics and you will be okay.
We purchased yesterday a new Pilot from the superb sales staff at CLARKKNAPP HONDA.
I have never seen such a truly motivated and helpful group of salesmen as I see at this dealership. They are patient, honest, straightforward, and trustworthy throughout the sale; all of our questions were answered and meeting the employees there was rewarding in many ways. Sales leader Eddie Leal assisted us in every way possible; Tony Rico is extremely helpful in educating us in the new technology of the Pilot and he is a nice person to know. Tony also explained in detail the Pilot's unique features. Joe Gonzales also came forward to assist in our orientation. I also met the service manager Ruben Reyna who was friendly & informative regarding his departmen' s work. Daisy in the internet sales department is very helpful and a friendly member of the customer oriented team. Finally, we had the great pleasure to meet the owner, Mr. CLARK, who is as pleasant and amiable in person as he appears on TV.
All in all our experience at the dealership was and is the most beneficial that I have ever seen. We anticipate many years of continuing business with the dealership.

I bought a pre owned a vehicle from this dealer. The employees were very friendly and attentive and I was able to get my vehicle the same day. Jeff answered any questions I had and made sure the purchase went smoothly. The car is in great shape and is still running well. However, there were some issues I ran into. First and foremost, a big issue I had was communication. Sure everything before the purchase they answered my every need but afterwards it was very difficult to get a hold of someone. My windshield needed to be replaced but every time I would call either the person in charge wasn't available or they needed to transfer me to someone else. Finally got it replaced but there is a small scratch on it which the person said they'd reach out to me to get it replaced again. Have yet to hear from them. Same thing with the financial manager of my purchase. Gave me her personal number but when i reached out to her, no response. I have yet to get a response from her. Overall, my experience was good. Their customer service is really good and it wasn't a tedious process to get my vehicle. One thing I would recommend is to check everything under the hood and ask if you're not familiar. My car was given to me with very little coolant and it started overheating. It was a simple solution but at no point was I told that the car needed to have coolant added. This, in my opinion, is something the dealer should've taken care of prior to the sale. Work on your communication with customers post car purchase and you can definitely be a great dealership. Nonetheless, the car was amazing and the price was very fair.
The best dealership to go is Clark Chevrolet in McAllen, Service department is very knowledgeable in all areas of my vehicle. My service advisor is Pete Munguia and anything you ask he knows. We need more people like him. Keep up the great work.....
