2024 MINI Hardtop review
A brilliant mark of automotive excellence. An abundance of personality, only to be outdone by my 9lb chihuahua. - 135 horsepower is more than plenty on the freeway, and far too much for the city. - The design of the interior cabin feels I am already in the future, as opposed to the present. - The cabin is also very quiet. I hardly hear cars and noise around me - the sound quality from the sound system is spectacular, and the audio from phone calls is unbelievably clear. - I've never driven a car with better handling. I would say it is in a Goldielocks zone of having enough wiggle for comfort and stiffness for performance.

I went to automation to have an Engine Maintenance Required message checked out. At first I was told it was just for regular scheduled maintenance, which I had just had done. The message was cleared and if I went. 3 miles down the road, the message was back on so I went back. They needed to do a diagnostics test on it to see what was wrong. Turned out, it was a valve they replaced for free! While waiting, I received a text saying my car, a RAV4 was in high demand and they offered me a very good price for it. I figured, it didn’t hurt to look at the inventory to see what they had. I worked with Ronnie, which was great - 0 pressure! I found a car I really liked and got a great price for it. Then came the finance guy - and the pressure to purchase an extended warranty. He spoke with my husband over the phone, who would not be pushed, and kept saying he want trying to push us into buying the warranty but that it just made sense to get it. I was able to get through everything without the extended warranty and do really like my car. It’s a shame you can’t just go in and buy what you want - like any other store - and not get the pressure. I would recommend writhing with Ronnie though and my overall experience was good.
2023 Honda Civic Type R review
A blast to drive! Brakes are very responsive, quick at lane changes. The car feels on rails at high speed on tight curves. Very happy with the performance of the car. Very decent gas mileage on long trips. I recently did a 680 mile trip and my average was 29.8 mph

2021 Mitsubishi Mirage review

A few weeks ago my son and I bought a 2016 Hyundai Sonata at CarMax of Southlake on Mt. Zion Road in Stockbridge GA. Our sales agent was an older gentleman named Jim Lowe. What a nice guy. Low key. Not pushy. So very patient. He was very knowledgeable about the various cars my son wanted to look at and understood what features he needed on the car. He never rushed us to get on to the next customer and was always willing to answer all our questions. (And he even knew the answers and didn’t have to go ask someone.) These are attributes that you don’t always find with used car salesmen. But Jim was different. CarMax is different. Such a large selection of cars that we found and with low or mid or high mileage. The financial process was painless as well. We went outside to go get his car and found it all washed and cleaned inside. It even had a full tank of gas and a HUGE yellow bow across the hood. 2025 Honda Civic review
I traded in a 2017 Honda CR-V Touring because it was going to to cost more to fix the major issues (as a second owner I did not know the CR-V had that many things wrong). I put money down on the Civic Sport that I was going to use for the repairs. I do have to say it's a nice car and I hope it will last longer than I expect. That being said I didn't want to buy another Honda but I did go to a dealership that I trust more than anybody else. I will come back and further my review once I have 5,000 miles on it.
