2014 Toyota Yaris review
We previously owned a Cadillac, so there was quite a difference in size and fuel consumption. We use it as a motorized shopping cart, and for what we need, it performs well. Only observation against it is the instrument panel. Very hard to see, without the lights on. Overall a great little car.

2013 Jeep Patriot review
I actually love it! I bought it second hand and it runs really well. The car is well isolated, the AC works great. It is very comfy and the gas is not running low as fast as I was expecting to (based on online reviews). So, I am actually positively surprised. It looks great with a retro flair, provides good visibility which speaks for a good design. All in all, for the current price market is a good deal. A straightforward and simple car that works great.

2007 Honda Odyssey review
My family (not me yet, because I'm 15 1/2) has had two Honda Odysseys over the past 9 years. As far as I can remember, the first one caused us very little issue beyond some A/C issues. It was totaled after some doofus hit us while attempting to cut across three lanes of very busy traffic. We bought a second one with just over 100K miles and it was great for a good while. The first repair I can recall was the brake rotors becoming warped and vibrating quite a bit under braking. For a while it was fine, and then small things began to go wrong. Sliding door stuttering (still works for the most part), hydraulics for the trunk going out (sub $100 fix), interior lights dying because of age, and navigation system becoming quite glitchy (DVD is from 2010 anyway). The only larger things are oil and power steering leaks (which are annoying, but manageable), A/C going out,and suspension gettting less firm. The main things still work, though. If you have a little bit of money to cover minor repairs as they come about, and take care of it and treat it like a minivan (not a sports car, because that's not what it is), I would recommend this minivan to the average Joe. As a matter of fact, I'm looking for one as my first car.

No complaints. -Look- Saw the negative reviews for these guys and was a little discouraged, but here's the deal - they're a used car lot. They buy and sell cars en masse and used cars aren't new. Typically, these guys barely know more about the car than you do because there's no way for them to. You don't want a bad deal, they don't want to sell a bad deal. No one wants the hassle. So when you test drive, pay some money and drive it to a dealer for inspection. Don't want to do that? Then you roll the dice just like they do.
2015 Kia Optima review
There's pro and cons with this car. I love the fact that this car is very good of mileages save so much fuel , I lived in San Antonio and we drove this car with full tank to Corpus Christi its about 2 hours and half, almost 145 miles away, then we came back still have half full of a tank. My deslike about the car is the front passenger set, its kinda very low and there's no other way of adjusting it. ( Blind spot)When changing lane specially to your rare left side ,you literally turning your head making sure there's no other vehicle. Other than that??The car is good to drive.

2014 Hyundai ELANTRA review
I’m a 6’5” man and I fit very comfortably in the 2014 Hyundai Elantra GL. It is the only compact car that I could sit without my knees hitting the steering wheel and being able to comfortably extend my legs. I put my seat all the way back as you would expect which doesn’t leave much room for passengers in the back seat, but it doesn’t matter since I extremely rarely have passengers there.

2014 Jeep Compass review
2014 Jeep Compass: I’ve had some issues with my Jeep but overall I’ve loved it. Bought it in 2016 with 34,000 miles on it. Now January 2026 I have 146,000 miles. Seems that things started to happen when it turned 10 years old. Tends to rust in the same places with all these jeeps (lower door trim, lower hatch trim). Had to get both front bearings replaced about $350 each side (suspension needs to maintained per manual timelines then you’ll have no problem), drivers window pulley broke and did repair myself, replaced throttle body myself (my fault for not keeping enough gas in the car). With that, I would recommend going above 3 in RPMs every now and again to teach your throttlebody to open wider. I’ve always kept RPM’s under 2.5. Stereo went out which is common in these models (went ahead and got a aftermarket stereo), drivers power window switch replaced (did myself for $80). Also, check engine light WILL come on if an oil change is needed. If your dash says oil change, you’re already waaaay too low. Now, my coolant is leaking around the cap. Thankfully it’s an easy fix I can do myself (about $100 repair). If you’re handy, these vehicles are easy to work on and if you keep them maintained, they will last a long while. With regular maintenance, I hope to keep it for another 150,000 miles. Oh yeah, 4WD gets stuck on or off sometimes. Not sure why but always seems to happen in the winter. Go figure.

2013 Nissan Leaf review
I drive this car daily, maybe 100 miles often. Very impressed with how quickly it accelerates. I bought the car and took it straight to the Nissan dealership as recommended for the full inspection. Very very cheap to maintain. Just takes a while to get confident in driving and making sure there’s a charging station around since I only get 65 miles per charge. Fun car to drive.

I am in the market soon for a used Nissan Leaf i have checked out how i can refurbish the battery packs over time and slowly bring back the range spending 200 a month buying the refurbished battery packs on ebay for 50 bucks each .. 4 a month and in a year you will have a brand new battery for a lot less than dealers or repair shops will charge you.. it is something YOU can do with a volt meter and a wrench ..

2007 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class review
I bought my 2007 SLK 280 used in 2022. I had it inspected and knew ahead of time I was going to have to put another $5k into it to make it right and how I wanted. So far I’m very happy with the car and am glad I spent the money. Great combination of being sporty, luxurious and roomy. I initially was considering buying a used Porsche Boxster but I’m 6’4” and it was too cramped and the interior looked and felt cheap to me. My SLK just looks and feels very high quality and it is so much fun to drive. I put in an upgraded radio with touch screen, usb, CarPlay etc. made in China that was made to match the existing accessories (highly recommend). The car is in such good condition people think it’s new. I’m always looking for excuses to drive it and can’t wait to get in it. It has a top speed of 155. Emmitt (salesman) was pleasant and positive. The deal for the truck purchased was okay. The dealer came down $500 but I had to ask twice. What I thought was odd was the truck wasn’t detailed and I was told they could only put $40 dollars in gas. It was an average visit. The Emmitt told me several times how good of a deal it was. The price we settled on was an average based on KBB.
2010 Ford Fusion review
My last one was at 262000 miles and still going strong until I totaled it. Drove it on long trips all over. I loved the AWD. Wish I had another one.

2008 Ford Ranger review
I'm on my 2nd one currently. Only reason why other is no longer on the road is the frame is rotten, I resurrected it from farm field some steel welded to support the frame best could, and some backwoods cheap body work, drove for over a year as main vehicle and loved it, found almost the exact same truck just colour and no AC, but great shape and love it, both 2.3L 5 speed stick. Love this truck for running around and smaller jobs saves my half ton from doing especially with fuel prices

1998 Jeep Wrangler review
1998 bought 2nd hand in 2002 with 50K miles, now has 260K with less than $1000 in repairs. Trans flywheel replaced, oil seal on steering gearbox, nothing really serious / major.
