Short ownership, great car

I have only had the car for a short period of time but really have enjoyed the car and the peace of mind I have for my daughter to drive it. It was a good value, it's a nice car and the price was certainly right.
In November 2011, I purchased a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer from Tate. I started on the internet with them, then worked with them on the phone and then drove 5.5 hrs to see the vehicle. I found them to be completely honest, easy to work with and am totally satisfied with the Trailblazer. The price was $3800 below Bluebook and they took my 20 yr old Isuzu Rodeo in trade.
I own this

This car met all my needs perfect car for a first time buyer. Great on gas and very reliable, I recommend this car to anyone commuting , driving Uber or simply for a first time driver
at 64,000 my transmission started having issues out at 75,000 around there, after that this year alone with transmission, axles, tires, bushing, i have spent over $6,000 in less than a year after having the car for 2 years
The 2016 Patriot high altitude is the best model. Economic, Strong , very nice equipped, leather seats, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, Nav, Steering voice Assistance, and very nice interior and exterior. highly recommended for
So far everything is ok. I don't know if the transmission having a mind if it's own is good for fuel economy. It has 4 wheel drive , but the wheel height leaves me skeptical. I live on county road , and leave for work before the snow plows are out. We will see
For the size of this compact SUV, it has really great front seat leg room and comfortable seating. The room for the back seat is less desirable. My young child, just turned 5, has hardly any leg room if someone is sitting in the passenger seat and has to let the seat back.
The back storage space is very roomy, the back seats let down for even more room for length. The ceiling height is not very much, so tall things would probably not fit very well.
The over all performance, from a non-car person, is very decent. I've had no problems with acceleration needs or mechanical problems. I've driven it almost 30k miles in nearly 2 years.
To anyone looking for a small type SUV with decent had milage, I would recommend looking into a Jeep Patriot.
I bought this car because it had good gas mileage which it still does, but that is the ONLY thing good about it. The rims that come with car might as well be made out of aluminum foil. I've gone though numerous tires because the slightest bump to the curb or divot in the road will bend the rim causing it to slowly slice your tires. My tire pressure light never stays off for more than 2 days after filling tires. I'm stuck with this golf cart for the next 3 years. I also will not visit Nissan dealer again. Felt pressured to buy it too.
