I wanted fun to drive, manual transmission, and greater than 30mpgs average. This vehicle hits all those targets. I have done only about 900 miles thus far (in a week) and i just keep wanting to go back for more... so that says a lot. the Mini cooper i test drove for a bit (~800 miles) had greater steering feel, but much great suspension feel (the bumps were harsher)... your choice on which you prefer. I also test drove a VW GTI... sadly the test drive was in an DSG (automatic) and harldy compares, but i did not buy that one. The civic SI may not be the best car out there, but i firmly believe it might be the best are for the money if your priorities are similar to mine.

I purchased a Honda Civic SI. This car is very sporty , roomy and comfortable with plenty of leg room in the back. The trunk is large and opens into the interior of the car when the seats are put down. I enjoy the sportiness of the Honda SI. It handles very well.

My experience wasn’t a happy one because I wasn’t able to ride out with the car I wanted but I did enjoy my time there. My sale agent Ryan and the manager was really cool and seemed helpful. After all my years buying cars this is the first place I wasn’t able to get the deal done but because they treated me so well I left with a smile. The pricing was transparent and fair and they were able to truly surprise me with a fantastic loan. I was also very appreciative of the speed with which the process was completed. I know that many dealerships train their staff to keep prospective customers on the sales floor for as long as possible; I was set up with a test drive, given a clear price, and provided options for financing very quickly.
