I’ve owned my lx 2008 Honda Element FWD 5 speed manual transmission since i bought it new… replaced 1 alternator, 1 water pump, i’m on my 3rd clutch but i also have almost 400,000 miles on it it’s more than paid for itself and still runs great… I’d trust it to go anywhere

Awesome
1 owner, 397,000 miles. Only replaced starter , alternator and a window regulator . wished it got better gas mileage, but what do you really expect, pushing a box through the wind.

Great experience, professional and courteous. First off, I was an out-of-state buyer. Looking at vehicle online, there were 100+ great photos, Mo sent me two video walk-arounds and offered to FaceTime if I had any additional concerns. For those buying online, this is a very reputable dealer. I sent a deposit via Zelle. Mo held vehicle and cancelled other showings for that day, as promised. The price was more than fair for my vehicle. At the time, there was not another for sale, in the entire country, with less miles in my preferred configuration (TDI). He even arranged shipping for a very reasonable price and within a few days of the purchase. They handled the out-of-state title transfer for me. I'd never purchased a vehicle without seeing in person and driving. Mo delivered on service and quality. The vehicle was as advertised, an awesome find. I'd buy from Chicago Motors Direct again, without hesitation. They have an awesome inventory of hard to find German vehicles and are knowledgeable about them. It 2021 and I still own my 2008 Honda Element EX AWD truck/SUV. I love it so much, that I probably need to think about buying a new automobile but I can not part with it. My husband said in order to buy something new we need to let your Honda go - so I still have it. Runs wonderful and people never believe what i can haul in it. It also still looks great. I just wish that Honda would bring it back.

Second Element Owner
I owned a 2006 model for 6 yrs, bought it new and put 298,000 miles on it. Honda stopped making them in 2011. When I went to buy another I couldn’t find one newer or one under 150,000 miles on it. Fast forward to 2019 and I found a 2008 EX Model with only 75,000 original miles on it and I snapped it up! Love this vehicle, so roomy and easy to take care of!
