2023 Honda HR-V review
For: Safety, Reliability, 2.0 liter K series engine has been proven to be a long lasting, relatively low maintenance power plant devoid of direct fuel injection, turbo .. The engine is smooth and quiet unless pushed hard. The chassis is capable. The ride good for this class of vehicle, especially if fitted with improved tires such as the Michelin Defender 2. Brakes are good. Headlights decent, Cabin room is good. Knee room more than adequate in the rear seats. Overall a well thought out design. Negatives : If you drive fast this is not the vehicle for you. Fuel economy is not as good as direct injection competitors. Don’t expect to tow anything as it’s a CVT. The rumored upcoming hybrid will make this an even better vehicle.

2022 Honda HR-V review
Very happy with my HR-V sport model. Exterior design of the car is very nice Interior is a little small with not much room for storing things. Would not recommend this car to avery large person but for a smaller individual it is perfect, Runs well, has more pick up than I thought it would have. Based on only been driving it for 3 weeks I do recommend it.

So slow it’s almost unsafe! Front seats are not comfortable. Blind spot in side mirrors. Everything else is good. Base engine needs 40 more horses. Sport trim should have a turbo engine.

2024 Honda HR-V review
Love how car handles. The HRV is wonderful on traveling bc I have arthritis and it was a pleasure to drive on long trips. It’s smooth riding and an attractive car. It is easier to get into than the CRV bc I am short (5’2) so I had to climb up into CRV but not HRV.

My mothers car motor blew and she needed to purchase a car within the week. Dad died over the summer so this is the first major purchase she has had to do without him since the 60's, so of course I helped her. We visited EVERY car lot from Melbourne to Palm Bay, test driving an endless number of cars, brand new and used to see what was out there. The Coastal Lot was the first we went to, then last lot we visited. There was such a warm atmosphere at Coastal, no pushy salesman trying to steer my mom away from what SHE wanted to look at. Manny even came in on his day off, without telling us it was his day off, I know he did not want mom to feel pressured. Manny was willing to go above and beyond for my mother without bragging that he came in on his day off, we found out from someone else he was off that day. Spike (Sales mgr.), Candy (paperwork) and EVERY other person we encountered were fantastic! WE have already been telling everyone we see what GREAT people are at Coastal Hyundai!!!

2016 Honda HR-V review
Overall, it's great! It's a Honda and it is reliable and holds up well over time! It can be parked anywhere! However, the heater is terrible - takes over 20 minutes to warm up the car inside (my 1996 Civic and 2002 CR-V had fantastic heaters, I don't know what Honda's done to ruin their heaters). It is also bad for road noise, it is difficult to hear passengers because of all the road noise on a highway!

2025 Honda HR-V review
Love the car....I have 2 concerns. First, the driver's seat is not comfortable (this is my wife's car) ....the other seats are fine. This is weird. We have the all wheeled drive version. It loves gasoline !!! My Toyota Corolla gets 38-40 mpg with a smaller but peppier engine. This HR-V Gets between 25-28.....not sure why. HOWEVER. This car drives like a dream... VERY SMOOTH. Love the car !!!

2018 Honda HR-V review
Some early reviewers did not like the power, but it has been fine for me. I am not racing anyone. I like the “magic seat” capability. That has been useful many times. Driven literally across the country — California to Florida — with little fatigue. 60,000 miles and no maintenance issues.

We do not live in Ft. Pierce. We have visited multiple dealerships in Orlando, Tampa, Cocoa, Miami, and other areas while searching for the right SUV. The price, interior and exterior color of the vehicle, and customer service are all important to us. Our experiences were hit or miss. Then, we drove by Coggin Honda Fort Pierce on our way to West Palm Beach and stopped in to see what they had. We did not intend to buy at all. JOHN RODRIGUEZ was the salesperson who greeted us. He asked us questions, showed us three different SUVs, walked us through all the features, test drove with us, and answered about 8,492 of our questions in the Florida heat from around 10 a.m. to about 1:30 p.m. At this point, we had spoken with 6 salespeople at different dealerships, and none had been as attentive, caring, patient, or as focused on truly listening to what we needed as John. We could see that he is a hard worker, a genuinely kind person, and not someone trying to force us into buying something we did not need. We told him that if we were going to buy a car, we would buy it from him because he had truly earned it. I used to be in sales, so I understand how it works--if you don't sell, you don't eat. We then met with Ibrahim Ardic, General Sales Manager, and Shellie Kull, Finance Manager. Both were friendly, reasonable, and great to work with. We ended up buying the SUV. If it were not for JOHN RODRIGUEZ, we might not have even stayed to negotiate. I want to thank John, Ibrahim, and Shellie for working with us to make this deal happen. We appreciate all your hard work, time, and effort. One small suggestion, though - the WAIT TIME WAS TOO LONG. We agreed to the deal and signed the credit application around 2:30 p.m., but we waited until about 6:00 p.m. before we could see the finance manager. We have seen others came after us & left before us. We did not leave until around 7:30 p.m., and we had a long drive home. That part was NOT fun. 2023 Honda HR-V review
Amazing car for the value! Looks great and drives even better. I'd recommend this car for family as two car seats fit perfectly in the backset :)

2024 Honda HR-V review
I have owned my HR-V for about a month. Did have to tint my windows was no big deal. I think it had great power has alot on get up and go. Just the right size for me. Still learning what all the buttons do. Overall I am very pleased. First Honda owned.

2025 Honda HR-V review
