Many Hondas, first from Roush

My family and I have always leased Hondas. Between all of us, we probably have leased 20+ unique vehicles in this time. This was my first interaction with Roush, instead of our usual dealer (who will not be mentioned). My brother recommended Roush, as we were both insulted and frustrated at previous dealership for variety of reasons. He had also leased a new Civic a few months back, and was blown away with how much better his Roush experience was. Roush, and Shawn Risner specifically, made the experience NIGHT AND DAY difference compared to the usual dealership. Obviously with my Honda history, I was well versed in the whole 'Honda Lease' experience. I knew what 'games' to expect, the pushy 'sales tactics' employed, the phrases to avoid being used against me, etc. However, all this knowledge went to waste. Roush had NONE of these 'standard car sales tricks'. From the moment Shawn said Hi, his intent and main goal was "I just met a new friend, lets get to know him, and see how I can help him. If I can with one of my vehicles, great! If not, I still met a new friend." I gave Shawn a very specific (and frankly, demanding) price I was looking for. At no point was he offended, insulted, or annoyed. He did not try to say "Well, if you look at this instead, it's only $15 dollars a month more expensive!" My requests, comments, and needs were listened to, and fully respected and appreciated even towards the end of our meeting. If you want to be treated like a person, and friend, ask for Shawn. If you want to be treated like "Car Buyer#31341" go somewhere else.
