2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid review
It’s boxier and clearly more “SUV” in profile, taking measured inspiration from Hyundai’s upright, truckish Santa Fe while still retaining a soft-edge appearance more in line with the competitive field. It’s all cohesive in person, and the Calligraphy looks just evolved enough to attract existing Palisade owners and cross-shoppers alike. The biggest news of this updated Palisade is the long-awaited addition of a hybrid drivetrain, but you’ll have to wait for our on-hands take on that later in 2025. Hyundai’s kicking things off with the standard mass-market powertrain, a new naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V-6 shared with the Kia Carnival minivan and a number of Hyundai and Kia models abroad — so, new for the Palisade but not the market, and not really an upgrade over the outgoing 3.8-liter V-6. What Engine Does the 2026 Hyundai Palisade Have? The 3.5-liter’s 287 horsepower and 260 pounds-feet of torque trail the old engine by a speck, down 4 hp and 2 pounds-feet, respectively. All of this is routed through an eight-speed automatic transmission and your choice of either front- or all-wheel drive, with a standard (and unchanged) tow rating of 5,000 pounds. Outside the latter, these are not strong figures, especially since I found the prior Palisade’s poky performance to be one of its biggest flaws. Hyundai’s established turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder family trails the updated Palisade’s V-6 at 277 hp, but its 311 pounds-feet means turbo Santa Fes are more comfortable and at ease hauling a full house than the larger Palisade. The question of whether this four-cylinder would fit isn’t even up for debate: The 2.5T serves as the core gas-powered portion of the new Palisade Hybrid. How Does the 2026 Hyundai Palisade Drive? Dynamically, it’s a similar story — but the ending is markedly different. Compared to the first gen, the new Palisade feels heavy and drives “larger” than the modest 2.7-inch wheelbase stretch and 2.5-inch overall gain in length can account for. Driver inputs are muted, with a marshmallowy brake feel, soupy steering and pillowy ride making for a driving experience notably softer than the more neutral feel of the last Palisade. That’s not a bad thing. Outside of the engine’s peaky power delivery, the 2026 Palisade carries an air of distinct refinement and comfort that makes it one of the more isolating and generally comfortable SUVs in the class. This is especially true in the luxe Calligraphy trim, where interior appointments could almost pass for something wearing the Genesis badge. Quilted Nappa leather, microsuede trim, thoughtfully textured plastics, damped controls and convincing faux-wood trim compose an environment that’s easily one of the best among rivals and punches significantly above what some might expect from the brand. Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade Well Equipped? The tech and features are great, too. You’ll find twin 12.3-inch screens for the driver display and infotainment functions along with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and wireless device charging on every trim save the base SE. Six 100-watt USB-C chargeports pepper the cabin with two in each row, along with available heated and ventilated seating surfaces for the first two rows and three-mode heated seats for the third row maintaining toasty bums. The third row was particularly impressive, with my, ah, full-framed 5-foot-11 self plenty comfortable behind an adjusted second-row seat. Compared to other third rows best left for kids or emergency use, I’d not be too upset if the ride to dinner stretched beyond the half-hour mark, especially with access to my own air-conditioning vents, heated seats and USB-C port.

2024 Ford F-150 review
My Raptor experience has been excellent. Very comfortable, handles fantastic. Great pedal response. Towing ability has been very responsive handlles great during Towing. Have not had a single problem. Only drawback might be price tag.

2026 Honda Accord Hybrid review

2024 Volvo XC60 Recharge Plug-In Hybrid review
The car has really nice performance and drives very nicely but a few quirks. First the manuals are only available digitally and in many cases it’s a complex game to find what you are looking for. The search function is not forgiving. In other cases the information is weak and missing key elements. Some settings are sticky (rain sensor for the wipers), others are not ( auto high-beams), with no rationale. The controls on the left side of the steering wheel are a mystery and the customization on the dash board view is either: show the map or don’t show the map ( which disappears when you shift into reverse). The sound controls for the radio are lacking: no fader or balance controls. Lastly, if you want your garage door opener controls integrated into the car, be prepared to shell out another $995.

2023 Kia Sorento Hybrid review
First brand new car I’ve ever bought. Love it so far. Fairly quick when it needs to be, just don’t hammer it down if not needed. Love the screen and controls. Gas mileage is amazing. Overall happy. Only complaint is the third row is definitely for smaller kids. My two tennage boys despise getting back there. Not a ton of space if third row is up, but set it down and there is plenty! Enjoy

2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe review
Approaching 25,000 miles and we haven’t had any issues. I actually enjoy choosing whether to run on electric or gas based on what my journey is. If you just put it in hybrid mode, you’re not utilizing the efficiency of the engine. My advice, think about your journey. If I’m jumping on the highway to then head into the city, I run it on gas on the highway then switch to all electric in the city -no point wasting the electric with highway driving! Then I use up the last of my electric when google tells me I’m X miles from home when I still have X miles of electric remaining to use it all up. When we just do local drives less than 25 miles (grocery, day care pick up etc.) we can literally run off electric only for days, even weeks. It just takes thinking about what your journey involves. Crawling traffic for a 5 mile slow down ahead, I’m on gas until I hit that traffic, then switch to electric. We’ve taken this Jeep (Willys) through plenty of winter storms with feet of snow and ice, never needed to use chains with its AWD or 4WD to choose from. Hopefully the great reliability continues.

2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid review
Was originally looking at a Rav4, but realizing there might be situations in which we would need 3 rows of seating we went with the Highlander. Since we've been using it we've used the 3rd row way more than we had anticipated so a good choice. Around town mileage is around 34 mpg so not bad at all. Wish was better.

2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid review
2024 RAV4 Hybrid XSE model is a great choice - interior road noise & front seats that do not glide back enough are my ‘wish I would have paid attention to’ regrets. If passengers are over 6’2” with long legs, they do not fit in the front seat comfortably & many times I feel like an Uber driver with them choosing the back seat when going distances. Hybrids make a lot of noise when backing up which can turn heads - this is normal so don’t be alarmed. Gas mileage is terrific & its sporty exterior is over the top. I do love it & recommend it if not concerned about the cons I have mentioned.

My initial review is posted at the bottom. I have changed my rating from do not buy, to good. It appears that KUNES Sycamore has recently hired a very competent Jerome Witt who, albeit after 6 months resolved my issue within a couple of days. If you have an issue with KUNES, I highly recommend contacting Jerome. Below my original Issue: If I can stop just one person from buying a vehicle from November 5, 2022 By pljo on DealerRater If I can stop just one person from buying a vehicle from this non-responsive dealership, I consider my efforts a success. I purchased a 2009 Mercedes SL550 (48,00miles) from this stealership and added a "Bumper to Bumper aftermarket warranty" which I paid for separately from the car through Kunes. After 3 weeks (1,500mls) the car developed an issue with a suspension damper. Kunes quoted a $1,500+ repair charge and of course it was not covered by the "Bumper to Bumper warranty". Multiple emails to Eddie Boliaux (GM) has proven to be futile. Please think twice before dealing with these people, especially if they try to sell you a useless aftermarket warranty. 2026 Ford F-150 review
This truck has all the options I could ask for. It is very comfortable and powerful. I like the ruby red color. We've only put a couple hundred miles on it so far, but everything works great.

2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid review
The 2026 Palisades Calligraphy Hybrid is awesome, I loved my 2023 Palisades Calligraphy, but the Hybrid is far and away better from the increased horsepower, back to the 6 speed transmission and the outrageous MPG 600 plus to a tank, I drove the BMW X5 and X7, the MB, Porches, etc. could not find a $35,000 to $90,000 differences. For $60,000 and the 10/100,000 it cannot be beat.

My wife and I experienced a serious overheating problem in our Santa Fe while driving from our home in Kansas City to Chicago. We found Kunes Hyundai online and were blown away by the superior service they offered. Kyle served as our service advisor, and he went above and beyond to take care of us. He patiently explained the problem, told us they had to order a part, and promised the vehicle would be done by Tuesday. When I left the facility, Kyle said he was on the phone trying to work a little magic to get the part sooner. I don't know who he called or what he said, but he worked the magic. The part came on Monday, and they had the Santa Fe fixed and back to us a day ahead of schedule! That was tremendous. We were already sold on the Hyundai, but this experience reminded us again of why we are on our third vehicle. The level of customer care is off the charts at Hyundai. And Kyle is the best service advisor we've ever had. The repairs fixed the problem and got us safely back home to Kansas City. I would gladly recommend Kunes Hyundai without hesitation. 2026 Volvo V60 Cross Country review
Very smooth, comfortable and quiet. Extremely roomy and quite attractive exterior. Added roof racks, still quiet. Gas mileage approaching mid-30’s on secondary highways. Acceleration is good, handling is firm. All wheel drive makes a big difference. Very happy with purchase, and highly recommend.

2026 Hyundai SANTA FE HEV review
Bought this new hybrid car a few weeks ago and going on first long distance drive, 2k miles, soon. So far we love this car. The looks and performance have been what we hoped for. Gas mileage is not max yet, but it is still breaking in. There are a lot of electronics to learn how to use and I read and watch YouTube for more info. Looking forward to really driving this long distance.
