2002 Hyundai SANTA FE GLS review
Great Car With Over 200,000 Miles
We retired and sold our cars, cashing out the equity. We then bought a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe with 190,000 miles. We did some deferred maintenance on it - and a new timing belt. Well a year later, this thing is flawless. It's got 205,000 miles on it now, everything works. It's comfortable, the V6 has good power. Would definitely buy this car all over again. It is an interference engine. Do NOT break the timing belt.

20 years still good.
Had a 2002 petrol santa fe torque converter automatic for 20 years.. Never any problem except poor fuel consumption and in the UK a punitive tax. Still going strong.. No corrosion and looking good.

I've beaten the crap out of this little toy suv
And to be honest I can not think of another more reliable vehicle I've ever owned I payed 300 for this suv and I didnt do it for the looks I hated this thing .........then I had to pull a full size dodge 4x4 out of a muddy pit A FULL SIZED 4X4 this all wheel drive will shock the %@%@out of you and it tows anything,bottom line I would highly recommend this vehicle
