2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid review
The 2026 Pallisade Hybrid Calligraphy AWD is a great value with standard options typically not found in this price range. However it does have some flaws. (1) With a seat control safety software change roll out getting the 2nd row seats positioned for third row seat access and then back to a usable position for the 2nd row passenger is extremely difficult and time consuming. (2) AWD hybrid mileage is 24 mpg and not the 30 mpg as advertised. (3) Some key FOB issues coupled with smartphone digital key issues.

2019 Hyundai TUCSON review
I bought my 2019 Hyundai Tucson in 2021 from the Dealership as the second owner. It has not given me any issues. I get it serviced when required. It has never had any issues. I feel the interiors are comfortable. I love the butt warmers. I love the vibrant blue exterior. SUV has so much space. When I put my foot down it it definitely not my old 300CC Hemi Chrysler V6 engine but it eventually goes. It feels sporty and stylish. 26mpg on the freeway.

2020 Hyundai ELANTRA review
I recently bought a 2020 Elantra with very low miles (39k). It looks great, like new, and drives like a large sedan should. And the gas mileage is great! Driving around town yesterday it got 37 mpg in normal traffic, when the spec is 30. And on the freeway I was getting well over 57 mpg on a very slight, non-visible decline at 77 mph. It "feels" comfortable. My only knock so far is the information on the center console could be brighter and I haven't figured out how to make it yet. The owner's manual was not included in the sale.

There are some things worth noting. Gas mileage is not great. No where near what it says. Controls are hard to navigate and confusing but I love the phone, GPS, ride, Sirius and other safety features.

2025 Hyundai KONA review

I spoke with Gabe when purchasing my 2013 Kia Soul+. He showed me the vehicles I was interested, and didn't try to push me into something I didn't want or afford. He actually ONLY showed me what I was interested in, which was awesome. The process was quick, easy, and no pressure. All the salesmen were super friendly and laid back. Game really went above and beyond for me, even after the sale. The only issue I had was the floor mats were missing from the vehicle, which were replaced immediately and also the tires were a little on the worn side and they made an appt the next week to have them replaced. I did also notice my outlets and usb cables weren't working, which should have been resolved prior to buying, since it was certified pre owned, however the warranty will cover this to be repaired. I would definitely buy from Hertz again!

2022 Hyundai PALISADE review
Just be aware that if you buy a white one that Hyundai had a problem with the paint just flaking off. On the roof of my car which is white, I have big strands and strips of paint coming off and the car only has 20,000 miles. They covered it under warranty for 10 years but it's just a hassle.

Some history before I get to my recent service that was done. Bought a used 2018 Hyundai Tuscon SE AWD, with Nu 2.0L GDI in July 2021 at Cochran South Hills Hyundai. Had a little over 22,000 miles. Originally went there to look at a used Santa Fe that was advertised online...was told they could not sell it to me as it did not meet some safety criteria. So ended up with the Tuscon (and also bought the EasyCare Gold Wrap extended warranty - extending bumper to bumper for 10 years 100,000 miles from original sale date in 2018). I purchased another Hyundai because I have a 2009 Elantra with about 170,000 miles on it and only did routine maintenance (aside from timing chain, water pump, plugs around 100,000-which is considered routine). It is still going. At some point in 2023, I had to take it back for a recall software update (Done at Monroeville Cochran Hyundai). I asked the gentleman at the service desk about what seemed to me to be an excessive consumption of oil. He said that Hyundai used less than 1 quart consumption within 1000 miles was deemed acceptable. (Surprised me that was acceptable as I NEVER had a vehicle that used that much oil!!). I did have and earlier recall software update in 2022 (this may have been the update with anti-theft updates). That was done at a Hyundai dealer near Columbus, OH. After they did repairs as the vehicle WAS stolen and recovered a few days later and repairable. Onto my recent service for my vehicle completed at Cochran Monroeville Hyundai: My daughter was driving back from Cleveland on 4/11/26. About 50 miles from Pittsburgh on the turnpike, the vehicle went into some type of a 'protection' mode and would not go over 50-55 mph. I don't believe there were any warning lights on, but that was several months ago. Told her to get in right hand lane and put on 4-way flashers and go to Cochran Monroeville (about 1 mile off turnpike) and I would meet her there. This was a Saturday before service closed at 3pm (a little over 81,000 miles on it at this point). They looked at everything and determined the catalytic converter was clogged. That was installed and corporate Hyundai covered 90% and I covered 10% of the cost (little over $300). In my opinion, this was likely due to excessive oil consumption. Also asked for a few other 'routine' maintenance items to be completed for that level of mileage. Picked up the vehicle on 4/16/26. Also asked to start an 'oil consumption' test, as I had been keeping track of oil that was added between changes for the last 4-5 months - varied based on miles driven when checked, but was definitely more than 1 quart/1000 miles. Oil consumption test is 3 parts (simplified, and all steps need to get corporate approval prior to starting): 1. Dealership changes oil/filter and adds tamper seals to filter/drain plug. I drive the vehicle for up to about 1000 miles (or less if oil level is near 1 quart low) and see who much oil was used. 2. If greater than 1 quart/1000 miles (taken back to dealer to verify amount), a 'top engine/combustion chamber' cleaning is done. Oil/filter are changed and tamper seals added. 3. The 2nd round of driving up to 1000 miles is done and vehicle is taken back to dealer for verification. If consumption is greater than 1000 miles/quart - new short block is installed. On April 11, 2026 when we initially pulled in, Melissa Warner was my Service Advisor and continued to be my point of contact throughout the duration of the 3 steps. I only have good things to say about Melissa, she helped getting the catalytic converter being 90% covered. She followed through each step of the consumption test, constantly staying in touch via phone or text. If I called or text her, she would reply the same day or at latest, next day. It was a long process, especially having to drive the vehicle for the two mileage tests. But in the end, a new short block was installed. I have no problem using Cochran Monroeville.
2023 Hyundai SANTA FE review
I love the vehicle and the smoothness when i drive it. Alerts me of cars when backing and tells me if another vehicle is driving away if there is one in front. There is a lot of space and great for my 2 kids.

2023 Hyundai ELANTRA HEV review
Overall a good car for the price, smooth and quiet ride (for its class) and surprisingly accurate gas milleage. What we like so far (got it a month ago and have already 1500 miles (driven in the mountains and in the city): consistent great gas mileage - the best among hybrids; nice exterior design and great safety features; spacey interior; very decent and quiet ride: don't expect great power from the start but can get to 140 - 160 miles/hr and ride smoothly and quietly. What we don't quite like: the door pockets are so small one cannot fit a regular cup of coffee or tea, rather cheap fixtures, missing back sit middle cup holder (they added it to the more expensive models but these have lower gas mileage), the mirrors do not automatically fold, weird design of the middle console, it has a sort of wall (possible for the right seat rider to hold) but that takes of the space we could've use to add a two cup holder adaptor. After a year of ownership I'll update the review.

2026 Hyundai SANTA FE review
Fifth Hyundai vehicle. I have never had a bad experience with any of the cars., same for the dealers and service. The cars have always been reliable, loaded with great technology, and provided great comfort to drive. The 2026 Santa Fe clearly offers a lot of car for the price. It has also been a step up from previous models. Really enjoy the addition of the turbo engine. The only downside to all of this is Hyundai eliminated the included 36000 miles service the only disappointing part of a great driving experience,

2022 Hyundai SANTA CRUZ review
We have a 2022 Limited with 24000 miles. It serves its purpose well with the ability to cary bark dust and as a daily driver. The creature comforts are very nice with the cooled seats and the heated steering wheel. is inexcusable that the top model has a manual passenger seat. The headlights are the worst I have ever driven with.

2022 Hyundai TUCSON review
I have had zero issues with this car since I bought it in 2022. I only have one complaint that it has to do with a recall. The recall has to do with removing the wiring harness for the trailer hitch but the problem is, there is no replacement wiring harness.

He explained all the options for financing as well as the available extended coverages with clarity and confidence. All of the options were described honestly and I developed a nice rapport with him. I could tell he takes pride in his work and he earned my trust. Overall experience: Sales Manager Ricky J. was outstanding. At the time of my purchase I was looking at/comparing another vehicle from a different dealership and I was upfront about this. What really solidified my decision to purchase from Jim Shorkey was Ricky's flexibility in giving me a more than fair value for my trade in. I can tell this dealership has a customer centric focus where positivity and team work are at the core of what they do. I have purchased numerous General Motors vehicles and this experience ranks at the top!
2024 Hyundai TUCSON review
I have a 2024 Tuscan XRT .I bought slightly used and now has 17k miles . It has been a fantastic car. Initially wanted the SEL convenience hybrid for the gas mileage but couldn’t justify spending an extra $4-6k to save a few hundred dollars on gas a year. My non- hybrid has gotten amazing gas mileage. Averaging 28-29 mpg mostly stop and go, some highway. Way better than the estimates of 23-28mpg. The EPA estimates are way off ! The Tuscan drives so smooth and so quiet. The 8 speed transmission is amazing! It shifts quickly and so smoothly . The cabin is extremely quiet. I think there is more insulation/ sound proofing than the hybrid versions that try to cut down on weight. You don’t hear any road noise in theTuscan !The suspension is smooth and adsorbs every bump . The most surprising positive is the handling. There is absolutely no body roll and handles like it is on rails! I have owned a lot of vehicles and this handles better than anything in this price range. Handles better than any Subaru, better than the BMWs I have had. Feels like I am driving an Audi A4 which is pretty impressive. The seats are extremely comfortable, the stock radio sounds great, lots of legroom and the passenger and cargo room is amazing. Back seats hold full size adults and the seats recline! The cons. Not very many. The 0-60 could be better. However, it shifts so quick and smoothly you don’t notice any issues with speed/ power. A few reviews say 0-60 in like 9 +seconds . I don’t think this is accurate. My guess is high 7s -low 8 seconds but haven’t tested it. It doesn’t have sports car speed but it sure handles like one. For long drives and a daily driver, I would take the comfort / quietness and handling of Tuscan over a muscle car.

2020 Hyundai SANTA FE review
We are in our 70's and wanted a car that had blind spot protection with great window visability, a good sized GPS map, keyless entry, and good fuel economy. Also, it has good space in trunk with fold down rear seats. At 51,000 miles we have had no issues.

2025 Hyundai SANTA FE review
We have 24,000 miles on our 2025 Hybrid Santa Fe. We have had no problems with this vehicle. It is comfortable, roomy, and very fuel efficient. We get between 35 and 40 mpg depending on driving conditions. Great visibility, handling, and good ergonomics. All around great car for the money.
