Bought this vehicle for my use. Out beloved Tahoe come up with a check engine light and we decided not to spend money on an older vehicle. Our DIL did some searching and found this one for us to check out. It looked like it came off the showroom floor. Even it was 5 years old it was immaculate and the maintenance records were maintained. I’m so impressed. In my seventies I feel like I’m driving a sports car. So much different that driving the large SUV but still has a third row of seats when needed and plenty of room for luggage and/or packages. Couldn’t be happier. Even my husband will use it instead of driving his Dodge Ram.

On the road, the QX80 excels at what it’s built for. The ride is extremely comfortable, highway noise is well controlled, and the 400‑hp V8 provides smooth, effortless power. It’s a relaxed, confident cruiser that makes long family trips easy. The interior is spacious, the leather is high‑quality, and both the interior and exterior design have a clean, upscale look. Fuel economy is average for a large V8 SUV—nothing surprising there. The real drawbacks come from the dated technology. The infotainment system feels behind the times, and features like a head‑up display or massaging seats simply aren’t available. The front seats could also use more side bolstering for better support. Even with those shortcomings, the overall package is strong. When you factor in the typical selling price—often well below MSRP—the value becomes even clearer. You’re getting a large, comfortable, powerful, and well‑built luxury SUV that prioritizes reliability and long‑term durability over chasing trends. It’s not perfect, but nothing in this class is. Only the Escalade matches its presence, though with a more aggressive look. **Value**: Infiniti's current market position creates pricing advantages. Feature-for-feature, the QX80 is thousands less than competitors across all trims. **Powertrain**: The twin-turbo 3.5L V6 delivers smooth power through a 9-speed transmission. I'm averaging 20-21 mpg in mixed driving (better than EPA estimates), though it requires premium fuel. **Comfort**: Ride quality and noise isolation are excellent for a body-on-frame vehicle. The air suspension mitigates most harshness from the 22" wheels. **Handling**: It drives more like a midsize SUV, handling mountain roads with unexpected confidence. Only the pricier Escalade V offers better dynamics. **Space**: Dimensions match standard Navigator and Escalade while exceeding the Lexus LX. Verdict I'm satisfied with my purchase, especially given local dealership availability and favorable pricing. The electronic issues create some concern for long-term ownership. For shoppers prioritizing style, value, and driving dynamics who can accept some feature omissions, the QX80 deserves consideration in this competitive segment.

This SUV is incredible. It's very quick, quiet, and it's extremely comfortable. Combine that with the best looking exterior in its class and the fact that it's 10x better than the previous model and it's a winner.

Bought this vehicle in 2014 and started having minor problems but due to wear and tear,but had an major accident and even no one got hurt due to support bar . But no air bags deployed . Very concerned.

I will begin by saying that I really enjoyed my experience at the Mercedez of South Florida - Service Center. Viktor was outmost pleasant, patient and courteous throughout my experience at the service center. I was visiting family from New York and my engine light came on as I was driving down to Florida. I drive an IMG Mercedes GLC 63S Coupe. I called up Mercedes of South Florida - Service Center and spoke to Victor and he told me to bring my car in for a check up. When I arrived I got to sit down in Victor's office and explain how and when the car started to show the engine light. He explained that he would like to put the car in the Mercedes Diagnostics to see what codes the car registered when the engine light came on. When I purchased my vehicle I got the extended warranty of 75,000 miles. After a few minutes, he came back and explained that the car had leaks in both the turbos. He continued to assure me that he would take care of the issue with no problem. The service center looked very busy since it was the day before New Years Eve. He kept coming back to me periodically to make sure I was being taken care of. That showed me that he really cared. After the repair was finished he apologized to me for the time I spent there waiting away from my grand-son that I was visiting. They replaced the two turbo clamps so that there is no more leak. I in return thanked him for his support and care that he showed towards me as a customer. My car now runs smooth and is in great shape. Viktor you are a great person and wonderful human being for showing me great patience and respect. Mercedes of South Florida - Service Center will be proud to have you in their staff. I would not be surprised that you someday get promoted to a higher leadership role because of your patience and communication skills you have with your customers and people around you. My car was completely dead, and I had to have it towed to the dealership. Andre and his team got to work right away. It was all computer software updates. They also did my oil change and a complete inspection on my engine. Filled all fluids, changed all filters and rotation of my tires. It was all done in a day. Thank you for excellent service Andre! For a luxury vehicle I cannot understand the low quality paint and glass on this car. Also having to manually fold in side mirrors? Why? Paint and windshield badly pitted.

First of all, I am 80 years old, live in North Carolina, and was not able to visit dealership. So far i have never had a problem with this car. I love my car, its the best. It has different drive modes like sports standard etc. It also drives very good in snow. I also get great miles to the gallon.

Awesome Q60 Red Sport 400. The dual informational center needs a serious upgrade. Needs better exhaust sound especially on the red sport 400. Overall I give the red sport 4.5 out of 5.
