1990 Jaguar XJS review
The sleek lines of this Jag makes many turn their heads and stare. When you sit in the seats it feels like the leather was form fitted to you. The ride is heavenly when you are heading down the highway, it floats across the road. It has amazing gas mileage for a V12, it does better than my compact.

1995 Jaguar XJS review
Back in 1998 I fell in love with the XJS... I was 16 at the time and I vowed that one day, I’d own one. Fast forward to February 2025, 27 years later… that dream became a reality. I was so lucky to find a near perfect, signal red convertible that had spent its life in a garage. Even up on the rack, the car was near perfect. Everything still worked perfectly and the car had just turned over on 80k miles. Every time I open my garage door, I smile. The car has that power. Additionally, on the rare sunny day when I put the top down and take it out, I am bombarded with waves, honks, “thumbs up”, and inquires. To be honest, I think it is one of the most beautiful cars to ever exist. She has power, class, sport, and comfort. I was lucky enough to get the straight 6 engine, which I hear was the best of the best. The only cons: Back seat is basically used for shopping bags, because a human couldn’t fit.,, and no glove compartment. I must say, I can live without both! LOL! Another con is people are GOING to stare, so don’t pick your nose and always look your best. I absolutely believe I could drive into a brand new Mercedes dealer and everyone on the lot would break their necks looking… I can live with that con too! All in all, my favorite car I have ever owned (had other Jags, BMW, and Cadillacs) and if I live another 50 years, she will be parked in my garage and I’m sure at 93, I’d still be smiling. Wouldn’t take $75,000 cash for her today… She’s my dream!

1994 Jaguar XJS review
I've had my 1994 Xjs 4.0L for over 15 years. It came to me from the original owner in near perfect condition with only 70,000 miles and full service records from day 1. I now have 268,000 miles on the clock and with routine maintenance, this car hasn't skipped a beat. It still passes smog checks. I'm in the process of a full suspension R&R.

1989 Jaguar XJS review
It is a great Arizona car. I drive with the top down most of the time. Plenty of power with the V12. Ninety percent restored.

1994 Jaguar XJS review
The '94½ through '96 XJS with the AJ16 engines are xxxx near bulletproof! I've had mine for 18 years & the only issues I've ever had were routine maintenance items, like hoses & fluids. I bought it with 36K miles on it & it now has 110K, so I do drive it. Several times it turned into my daily just because it's such a sweet ride to drive, plus it's a convertible & I live in Arizona. I'll admit that I've been poor with performing routine maintenance as scheduled, but it doesn't care & just keeps trucking. I've had a coolant hose rupture twice & the engine overheated to the point of shutdown, & yet it still runs like a champ. I've driven it across country multiple times without issue, & it just devours the miles.
