I’m not typically one to write reviews, but my experience with CarMax has been so outstanding that I feel compelled to share. From start to finish, they’ve redefined my expectations for buying a vehicle. I found a car online that checked every box for me—low miles, all the specs I wanted, and fantastic photos that gave me confidence in its condition. The only catch? It was located at a CarMax dealership in Florida, while I’m in Nashville. For just $200, they shipped it to my local CarMax dealership. Knowing the worst-case scenario was losing that $200, I felt reassured to take the leap—and I’m so glad I did. Within just a few days, the car arrived. I had a trade-in—a mid-mileage VW Atlas in good condition—and to my surprise, CarMax offered me an amazing price. I’ve done my research, and they gave me a value that was very close to what I’d seen comparable models selling for, and significantly more than I owed. Needless to say, I accepted their offer with ease. As for my new (used) car, I was impressed by the comprehensive warranty options. The extended warranty they offer feels like an insurance policy: $200 deductible for coverage up to 150,000 miles. With my car’s mileage at around 50,000, this was a no-brainer. I’ve seen glowing reviews about the warranty online, and after my own experience, I can see why. Now here’s the part that truly sets CarMax apart—the post-purchase experience. The vehicle is used, so it’s impossible to catch every little thing during a quick test drive. Thankfully, CarMax provides a 90-day warranty and has a full-service garage. I’ve been back a few times for small fixes, like the gas door not working properly, tire monitor sensors, an alignment issue, and even replacing a rear entertainment system screen. Every single issue was handled promptly and professionally, leaving me with a car that feels brand new. Shoutout to Elvis in the service department! Not only did he remember my name when I returned, but he also ensured I had a free loaner car anytime my vehicle needed to stay overnight. The customer service I’ve received from him and the entire CarMax team has been nothing short of exceptional. This entire process has been so seamless that I can confidently say CarMax will be my first stop the next time I’m in the market for a car. I’ve purchased brand-new vehicles before and never felt this satisfied. CarMax has raised the bar for what car buying and ownership should feel like. If you’re on the fence about where to purchase your next vehicle, I can’t recommend CarMax enough. From great trade-in offers to their stellar warranty program and impeccable customer service, they’ve won me over as a fan for life. In 4 years only one problem, horn failed 3 times. Last time I had it mounted differently and never failed again. This was covered by warranty

He helped me reset the oil life indicator, and popped the sun visor into proper place. He was all about service with a great attitude. I was in the market for a new car for over a year now. It is nerve wrecking and overwhelming. Decide to buy a new or used. I researched, test drive, and contacted over 20 dealers for information. Until I finally found the perfect car for me at the perfect price, while on the CarMax website in Norcross, GA. A 2023 Nissan Pathfinder SV 4WD with 16,500 miles. Practically brand new and at least under $2,000 and the lowest miles from similar vehicles in my area. One great thing about CarMax is that I was able to scheduled the test drive 7 days in advance. They reserved the car for me, no worries about being sold before my test drive. Another great thing about CarMax is the price advertised is the price you pay. Other than tax, title and registration, no other “bogus” fees are added to the price. I only wish they offered special incentives/discounts like military, first responders, student, etc. But, I am extremely happy with my purchase!!! Shout out to salesman Young!!! He is the first person I spoke to; he got the car for my test drive, and in less than 1-2hrs I was on my way home with a new car!!! In other words, DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!
2017 Kia Soul review
I have owned a Kia Soul Brownstone Edition for 6 years now. It hasn't given us any issues aside from a brake ABS failure in warranty. However, since Kia skimped out on immobilizers, I wouldn't get one without push button start, which is most of them, unfortunately. While they extended the warranty on the engine, they have plenty of fundamental issues with it, and also, my Kia after 4 years, has noises in front and back suspension sway bars, and the strut tower bearings make noise. While these don't need to be fixed, they make the car sound like crap. I just drove a 2019 Kona with the same amount of miles, and the suspension on that was just fine. Might be due to the larger wheels and smaller profile tires, I don't know. If Kia ever sells the EV soul in the US, I'd get that. So far, they've been good.

2015 Kia Soul review
Our 2015 2.4L Soul has been great. My wife works a split shift, so she commutes to and from work Twice a day. So it gets a lot of highway miles. We also have gone cross country a few times. Always serviced at the dealer (which is more expensive), But it kept the warranty alive. Engine needed replaced at 95K due to oil consumption, but warranty covered it. Now at 220K AC compressor died. But that is the 1st repair we have had to do. Everything else is holding up fine.

I had a great experience on a Sunday afternoon - maybe because they were busy. Allowed to test drive, the secretary in the front ran my credit, and was out of there in about an hour after test drive. I did have to wait for 20 minutes or so to see vehicle - I don't think they actually make (or rather keep) appointments. Let me add, I got a truck with a lot of miles at a low price, and I figured I needed to fix a few things - and I did. I got it for several thousand less, put $600 in it, and it drives like a champ.
2016 Kia Soul review
Good gas mileage definitely a keeper especially when gas prices are high. Smooth suspension plenty of engine performance. Comfortable seats heated, cargo area is spacious. Touch screen stereo with navigation. Reliable, very nice quality and holds it's value well.

2020 Kia Soul review
This is the second sol I have owned and I couldn't be happier. Although both were bought in Tucson Arizona the dealership in Lawrence Kansas has been great. I haven't been notified of a recall on my car I am concerned about the anti theft device I have been hearing about and the oil ring problem in some of the 2020 sols. Just a little worried my car may have this problem. Any info would be great.
