2025 Lexus NX 450h+ review
Probably the best car we've owned in 60+years. The plug in hybrid model is perfect for our needs, getting 39 miles range on the electric mode fits our driving needs 80-90% of the time. When we do a highway trip, the hybrid mode kicks in and gets up. 45+mpg. All in a safe, reliable, somewhat luxurious ride. Biggest peeve is the xxxx electronics screen--- a thousand little options I'll Never use, but change the clock?! or get rid of that stupid "drive connect" app screen?? After a YEAR of trying to ignore it, still pops up as the default screen. Just want the map on as the default, and even though I think I have the green on toggle for automatic Daylight Savings clock, have one time on the map screen and one hour different on the central control panel screen, what gives?? Way too many jujube diddly squat choices for useless stuff. back to KISS a bit would be a plus.

If you're not giving David Ventura level service, then you're missing the mark. David IS the standard. I'm on a 20,000 mile loop roadtrip in my Mercedes Van down from Alaska and started having issues with my Brakes. I stopped in with no appointment, told them my situation, and they immediately got me in. From the second I arrived, I was immediately greeted with kindness, attention and urgency from David Ventura. We sat down, ran through my issues while David asked important follow up questions and took detailed notes. During the inspection, David came to the waiting area and gave me multiple updates, time estimates, and ensured i was comfortable and in the loop. He brought the mechanic in to directly talk to me about what they were seeing. Upon wrapping things up, I came out to find my Van not only fixed, but freshly washed and parked directly outside the front door for me. I felt like Royalty for the first time in my life. (dirty van guy from Alaska) I left feeling important, heard, appreciated, and most importantly, they made me feel like a friend. The dreaded aura of service appointments was nowhere to be found in my mind. It was the best 5 star service experience i've ever had. Thank You, David Ventura. 2024 Lexus NX 450h+ review
Purchase the car a month ago and already has 850miles. Car feel great in regard,power and maneuverability. Only one major this Miles/gallon. My longest trip was between San Diego and Phoenix and back. On the way there I got max 36.5 m/g. On the way back 35.00. I hardly made it to San Diego. Tank is only 12 gal. so 36/84 m/g ....not true not even 50 miles per gal. Dealer did not explain how to drive, what to do to get maximum miles per gallon. Will take another trip probably 800 miles back and forth, will let you know in my next review
