Recently I shopped for a new Mazda3 Hatchback at Ed Howard in Sarasota after being disappointed by my auto shopping experience in Charlotte County. I worked with Steve Wilkinson and Jon Zimmerman and found both to be friendly, helpful, and genuine. They were able to get the car I wanted from another dealer and offered a price that was well within my target range--no tricks or haggling. Ed Howard is a family owned dealership, and it shows. I met many of the other staff members once I had purchased my car, and they all seemed happy to have my business. So far I think my Mazda3 is a terrific car, and I look forward to working with Ed Howard to keep it in great shape. Thanks again to Steve and Jon for making it easy to choose Ed Howard over other dealers. I'm happy to have a new Mazda3 in the garage beside my 2000 Mazda Miata.
To summarize...I called and spoke with Jon Zimmerman and simply laid out my needs/wants and financial structure. He listened and did not try to steer me away from my initial needs. He provided the precise car I was looking for, in fact a certified pre-owned, which was fine. I am pleased thus far and am spreading the word to all who ask about my beautiful "new" Mazda6. The entire time spent talking model, price and then the closing of docs...maybe totaled 45 minutes. Great job at cutting thru the nonsense and simply providing what the consumer wanted...that was my experience.
The appointment was set up for the time I requested. The vehicle was taken in as soon as I arrived even though I was early. The work was done in a professional and timely fashion. The lounge is well stocked and a pleasant place to wait. I chose to wait but I was offered a courtesy ride back to my residence. I received a free car was with the service. All in all, I enjoy having my car serviced at Alex Karras Lincoln.
2015 MKC. New Lincoln customer after 9 Cadillacs. Your service staff excellent, especially Lanora! Customer drop off facilities badly in need of updating; counter area very messy looking with a door at the back of the space that looks like someone kicks it each time it needs opening. Lots of things on the floor, etc.
Terry Babb was excellent. We were on our way to Michigan for a funeral, found that a tire had a screw in it. Terry found us a tire and replaced it and got us on the road.
