When it came time to make my first big purchase after graduating from college, I really had no idea what kind of vehicle I wanted or needed. I did a lot of searching and was very pleased with my choice to do business with Brad Howell Ford. They did a great job explaining my car and financing options and took the time to completely walk me through the whole process. I am very pleased with my experience and my Brad Howell Lincoln MKC. I cant wait to drive it for many years, and when the time comes to begin a new car search, I will be back to Brad Howell Ford!

Transmission Gearbox Trouble

2020 Ford Expedition was purchased Feb 2020 (Springfield Va). I started having transmission problems Jun 2020 (15,000 miles). I informed my service representative what was occurring during an oil change and she informed that she would have a transmission specialist look at it. I was given the all ok and l departed, but my transmission is still producing a rattling sound and it buck's when l go from park to drive, also when it changes gears it slips from time yo time. This is my Fourth new Expedition and l have never experienced anything like this. I have made 4 request that they check my transmission and it has always come back (No problem). Oct 2022 l received a call from the service department stating that my truck hadn't been in over a year. I indicated to them that l was last in for an oil change with them, April 2022. Not only did they not have records showing my oil changes, but they didn't record any of my complaints about my transmission. I took my truck to AAMCO and they indicated that it was an electrical component ( brains of the trans) that was faulty and that l needed to return to Ford to repair. I attempted to have this resolved before my warranty expired and now l have no warranty on it because l'm at 95K miles on my truck.
I know that there is a recall on 2015-2019 Ford Expedition for faulty transmission gear box. I'm experiencing the exact same issue with my transmission.
