My husband and I had a great experience working with Elyas at Roseville Mazda. I had been doing research and looking online at used Miatas but wanted to test drive a new one at a dealer to learn as much as I could about the vehicle before making a decision. Elyas was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions without any feeling of being pressured to buy. He understood what features where most important to me, and was able to find the exact model I wanted at another dealership about 2 hrs away later that day. The vehicle was ready for us the next morning in Roseville, and I was driving home in a gorgeous 2026 MX-5 Miata RF GT a short time later. CarMax Southwest Freeway review
I have visited this Carmax location several times over the years, but I?ve never actually bought from them. I appreciate their selection and no pressure process. If you prefer used cars like I do, it?s great to go to a Carmax and compare several makes and models in one place and get your trade appraised. This time around I worked with Harold Speights, who did a great job of finding the cars I was looking for. This is harder than it sounds - the cars don?t always get parked where they belong after a test drive, especially on a busy day, so he had to do a lot of walking around. We ended up unable to find the exact vehicles listed online, which is the reason this Carmax doesn?t get 5 stars. But Harold got me into the right things to try out. Once I narrowed down my interests after a few drives at a few different places, he texted me some stock numbers of cars at several Carmax locations with free transfers. I ended up preferring a different vehicle from a different dealer, but that?s not a knock on Carmax or Harold. Having the written appraisal in hand helped me get a better deal. If you are shopping for a used car, Carmax is a great place to go. Only thing I?d change is that Carmax could do a better job tracking where the vehicles are on the lot.
