1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
Everyone should own one. They are so cheap (mine was $3k rust free) and easy to maintain. Even in stock form, just an amazingly fun car to drive on the edge or on a cruise. The best car I've ever owned. A perfect second car to make you happy. Also huge communities with all the support and comrade you could ask for. Do I recommend this car? Yes! All the time, to everyone I know and everyone that asks me about it.

2001 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
I got my 2001 MX-5 LS a few years ago to use as a daily driver and a fun weekend car and it's served both purposes admirably. It's a 6 speed manual and is so much fun rowing through the gears. It's not the fastest car but that's not the point. The handling is subliminal, it goes where you want it to go without thinking about it. It was fairly cheap to buy, has been quite reliable, and cheap to operate. It's pretty noisy with the top up or down so it's not a good long distance highway car. It does 95% of all the things I could ask of a car - I have a SUV for road trips, camping, snow/offroad, towing, & transporting the dogs. Around town or on twisty mountain roads it put's a smile on my face every time! I think the NB Miata is the best of the bunch because it's so simple and analog like the original NA version but it's a little larger & more powerful with more features than the NA with not much more weight. The NA pop-up headlights are cool but as someone who always drives with my lights on (it's good to be VISIBLE in such a small car) the NB doesn't sacrifice aerodynamics/drag or noise. The body reminds me of a 2/3 scale Jaguar XK. I'd recommend an NB Miata to anyone under 6' tall. I'm 5'9" and it would be too tight if I was much taller.

1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
I was recently given a 1994 MX5 for free due to the fact it did not have a title. My first thoughts were to just detail the car and sell it, But after driving it home, I was honestly impressed. I’ve now owned it for one week and in the works of getting the title and have no desire to sell the car. That little 1.8 5 speed manual won me over and this is coming from someone who has built many 70s muscle cars. The car is stock, and I plan on keeping it that way, except for some minor engine mods, changing the ragtop into a hardtop convertible and possibly a different rim & tire package.

1992 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
The first generation Mazda Miata is an amazing car, but you have to know what you're getting into. This is a car specifically made to be fun and engaging to drive. The steering is direct, the gearbox is just effortlessly smooth, the clutch is light and forgiving. It certainly is a joyous affair, but it comes with some side effects: lots of NVH, opposite-of-luxurious ride quality, cramped interior. Still, those pluses are hard to argue, and, say--have I mentioned these things are pretty easy on gas? Also, consider this: the engineering matches the interior in that it's spartan, simple, utilitarian, user-friendly, not fancy, not fussy. This car is easy to maintain, and (at least partially) because it's easy to maintain, it's very reliable. There's a lot to like, just be ready to feel the road.

1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
Really an amazing car. Mazda just hit the mark for a fun to drive roadster without requiring sacrifice in terms of longevity, reliability or dependability. The handling is balanced and forgiving, while maintaining a reasonably comfortable ride. It has enough power and though it won't win a stoplight drag race it will embarrass much more powerful cars on a twisty road.

1992 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
Ive driven many vehicles but this one was so great i bought it, very easy to drive and puts a smile on my face everytime i get in it. It is an old car but its very easy to work on and do preventative maintenance. i am 5’10 and the interior fits me perfectly but for my 6’ and up folks out there there are lower profile seat brackets/seats and removable steering wheel options plentiful.

1993 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
My 1993, black with tan leather interior and tan top Miata. Oh, it has the automatic transmission as well. Where do you start? It is by far the most fun car I have ever owned. Change the oil, basic maintenance and it just goes. I get 30+ mpg on outings where I sportingly cruise NC mountain roads. It has just enough room for my wife and I to pack for long weekend trips. Longer trips require using the luggage rack on the trunk. The hard top is great in the winter, and the soft top is easy to use the rest of the year. The automatic is great in city traffic, I prefer a manual, but I can go around corners just as fast with the auto. My car is mechanically stock and sounds wonderful going through the rev range. Drive it as it was designed to be driven and it rewards you with loads of fun. It wants to be finnessed, driving with to aggressive inputs will unsettle the car and it will get squirrely on you. If you want a fun, reliable car a Miata is a must have. Oh, at 6'3" I fit a little tight, but I can travel for hours having fun. Getting in and out with the tops in place requires judicious maneuvering. JP

I really enjoyed this car. I put 30K miles on it over 6 years and never had a problem. Wished it was a little more powerful but you can have lot's of fun with it without tickets, if you want. Plenty of room for a giant go kart.

I did have to wait a decent amount of time because the finance manager was busy with other customers. No problem for me with the deal I walked away with.

If you are looking for great fun, economical maintenance costs and outstanding reliability this is the car for you. I had mine for ten years with only normal maintenance. Winding back roads in a Miata are where you will want to be.

1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
This is a car that makes you feel like you are driving instead of just steering the family car. It has both driving personality and good looks. Horsepower? Not a lot, but it is sporty and brisk, and an absolute riot to drive on blacktop country roads, just like you would expect from a car intended to be Mazda's version of a tyoical small British open top sports car. It sticks to the road like glue and takes a bit of work to kick the tail out in a tight corner. Don't shift below 4k or you'll fall alseep, and don't lug it, it's more like a big bike engine than a small car engine and doesn't care a bit about the rpm, well within reason lol. Dotted redline at 6500, redline at 7000, I like to shift at 4700-4800 as it breathes nicely in that range, unless really pushing it. Very reliable and easy car to maintain.

I THINK THIS CAR IS THE PERFECT CAR FOR SOMEONE THAT HAS TIME TO DRIVE IT ON NICE WEEKENDS AND WEATHER. VERY PRACTICAL, RUNS GREAT, REDONE FOR RELIABILITY, NOT A CAR REDONE FOR APPEARANCE ONLY, FOR USE.

If you are looking for a cheep Fun car , than look no further. This car is Great !! It Runs and Drives Great !!! For a 4 cylinder this car moves , and it is Great on gas ! Top folds down with two clips in two min . And back up in three. What a Great car !!

I first met Brian Henry at a Cars and Coffee event back in 2016. In the subsequent seven years I have come to know and trust Brian. I purchased an Evora S and Mercedes S65 AMG from Brian and he helped me to consign/sell a E36 M3 prior to his purchase of MotorVault in Indianapolis. It was incredibly easy. I also came to look at and drive several other vehicles which I ultimately did not purchase including a tuned Mustang GT, Alfa 4C, race prepped Cayman S with TPC turbo, Focus RS, two Cayman GT4s and a Boxster S. Whether you are purchasing a vehicle or “just checking out what’s out there”, Brian’s approach remains the same – he is honest, helpful, and friendly with zero sales pressure. Instead of being a “sales guy”, he is a true automotive enthusiast who seeks to create a long-term relationship by helping you to find that vehicle which will serve you best in the long run, even if that vehicle is not one that he is selling or representing. I have zero reservations strongly recommending Brian Henry and MotorVault and, in fact, have to my family, friends and colleagues. Additionally, I have made it a daily habit to check out his website and Facebook posts as some of his best offerings come and go so quickly. If you are in the market to purchase or sell a vehicle or “just looking”, do yourself a favor and check out what Brian and MotorVault have to offer.
2000 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
Like taking the roller coaster to work!...but with enough comfort, storage, safety, etc. to be quite practical. I can feel like I'm going really fast but actually be obeying the traffic laws.

1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
Fun drive. Small trunk. Enjoyable ride always. Mine was broken into twice with a cut through the top. I finally sold it, because the interior window fogging became dangerous.
