2019 Chevrolet Equinox review
The 2019 Chevy Equinox Premier 2.0 AWD is great overall. The 2.0 liter model is very reliable on the freeway and works wonderfully for family trips with children as the back seat is quite comfortable. The 1.5 liter model struggles to get up to freeway speeds in our prior test drive, but it doesn't feel like that at all with the 2.0 liter. The Bose Premium Audio does not have a subwoofer, but the speakers have a deep low range and provide the feeling of a full audio experience. It's quite entertaining when you are jamming out at high volume and your pantleg is rattling from the door speaker. Issue 1. The front seats are rather short leaving 4-5 finger widths from the end of the seat to the back of the legs which results in your legs feeling like they are dangling off the seat, whereas you want something closer to 2-3 finger widths. I am average height of 5'9", so this would be more uncomfortable for taller people. The passenger seat specifically presses into your right leg causing it to start to go numb after 30 minutes, so long road trips in the front passenger seat are quite uncomfortable. Issue 2. I have the 2.0 Premier AWD with every bell and whistle available, and it still "feels" like I am surrounded by plastic. I understand that Chevy is not a luxury brand, but the max comfort trim leaves much to be desired. Issue 3. The Adaptive Cruise feature will randomly disable itself in clear weather. It rarely happens, but it seems to happen for no obvious reason. Disabling Cruise Control and re-enabling it resolves the matter, so it is a minor annoyance more than anything. Something I found amusing - The owner's manual says to use 5w30 for all weather conditions above -20f, then has a caveat to use 0w30 in -20f conditions, and then on the next page has yet another caveat to use 0w40 in -20f conditions.

2024 Nissan Altima review
Great mileage and very nice interior. Lotsa stuff but sadly only drivers window is auto. Wheels are terrible. They look great but very hard to clean. Good trunk space and nice seats. Having problems with backup camera it looks very foggy. Had it back to dealer twice, no luck. No CD player.. big downgrade.

2024 Nissan Sentra review
I HAD TWO (MINOR?) PROBLEMS WITH MY NISSAN SENTRA SV 2024 SO FAR; REPAIRED BY THE CAR BASIC WARRANTY (I ONLY ‘PAID’ IN TIME WAITING IN THE NISSAN SERVICE CENTER). 1. BATTERY SUDDENLY DRAINED: THE PROBLEM BEGAN AT AROUND 3,200 MILES AND IT TOOK THREE DIAGNOSTIC VISITS, THE LAST ONE FOCUSING ON THE PARASITIC DRAIN, TO FIND A PROBLEM INVOLVING THE BATTERY. BATTERY AND RELATED PARTS REPLACED SUCCESSFULLY (COVERED BY BASIC WARRANTY). 2. POWER WINDOWS MECHANISM BROKE DOWN AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. IT WAS AROUND 5,200 MILES (COVERED BY BASIC WARRANTY).

2024 Jeep Wrangler review
2004 jeep wrangler sport s 2 door. So far it is wonderful. Bought it just as a fun beach jeep but it has turned into our daily driver. Only problem is my wife wants to drive it all the time. She has claimed it as HER car. Guess I will need to just buy MY jeep.

2025 RAM 1500 review
2026 Limited with Hemi. When you accelerate it sounds and feels like a warm buzz in your belly. It isn't a street racer, but it still goes like xxxx. They are getting rid of the eTorque in 2027, but who cares: it is fully covered until 2036. The 5.7 is the most reliable engine they ever made, and 19 mpg overall is pretty good milage. The Limited ride is so smooth it feels like it floats. The 1/4-3/4 rear bed-door and ram boxes add convenience for all sorts of things. It wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. It is a luxury ride.

2025 Honda HR-V review
Love the car....I have 2 concerns. First, the driver's seat is not comfortable (this is my wife's car) ....the other seats are fine. This is weird. We have the all wheeled drive version. It loves gasoline !!! My Toyota Corolla gets 38-40 mpg with a smaller but peppier engine. This HR-V Gets between 25-28.....not sure why. HOWEVER. This car drives like a dream... VERY SMOOTH. Love the car !!!

I was in the market for a new, reliable used car and spent @ a week and a half looking through half a dozen vehicle-listing sites. I narrowed my search down to 2 vehicles, 1 of which was a Toyota Corolla LE listed by Childre Nissan. She went above and beyond to help me, with no assurances that their car would be the one I chose. Over the next day and a half, we worked through the process and I bought the car. Everything was done via texts, phone calls & over the internet, but I never felt like it was a distant relationship. I was given an very good price for my trade. They even delivered my new car to me, as well as taking my trade-in back! I am very, very happy with my experience with Childre Nissan. Leslie Madden, the sales representative who provided me invaluable help purchasing the car, and Josh Coffey, who also assisted me with the financing details, really seemed to care about me getting the car and helped me every step of the way. 2015 Nissan Rogue review
Nissan ROGUE S trim, no sunroof, FWD. 14/15 year model, 7 seater. So, you are here because you are about to buy one and mix of 1 star to 5 star reviews makes you nervous. Don’t be nervous , just don’t, because you’re about to buy the best SUV on the market for that years and read: Here is how to buy it and not regret about purchasing it: Mainly because of ZERO GRAVITY SEATS. ITS PURE MAGIC!!! Short story first: We bought it used with around 60.000 miles back in 2019. At that time I was a mechanic but not yet ASE certified lol. So I was very nervous about our purchase - all my bank money was about to be gone for the car - didn’t use bank credit. AND I STARTED SEARCHING, SEARCHING AND SEARCHING AGAIN. Let me share my experience: I knew that the main problem was CVT. How to verify that it’s good before purchasing the car? BYU an OBD dongle VEEPEAK as example (not a Bluedriver!) Aquire an Android phone or tablet. Download CVT50 and pay the Full version $4.99 as of 2026 (later in your mind will sound like “FREE 99” lol) YouTube how to use it. Install dongle to desired car, connect to your android (no iOS arrrrr), start the car. Find deterioration counter in app by clicking “read CVT” IFyou see something above 1500 - JUST RUN. It’s that easy. Actually app shows red flag and sign “Transmission failure” if it’s above 3000. Once you acquire the car - do whole transmission fluid change with filters replacement and wiping bottom pan inside (flush if you want, but better not to… Actually you can do it by yourself within 2-3 hours at your driveway. Make sure: USE ONLY AND ONLY OEM NS-3 FLUID AND OEM FILTERS there is 2 of them in the transmission. When you will install the transmission oil pan back - DO NOT OVERTORQUE THOSE BOLTS!!! We got lucky and it was only around 90 on ours. So technically in supreme condition. So far after 6 years being lucky 3rd owner: 1. AC fan replaced by myself with used. 2. Major leak inside the driver side from rain - known recall was honored by Nissan thanks to JAMES PUGH - GOD BLESS HIM!!! at Nissan global HQ and fixed at/by local Nisan dealership. 3. Tailgate bulbs replaced. This is it. Oh forgot OEM oil filters and Royal Purple only 0w-20 every 5k miles. I knew the guy who drove all possible cars from one auto auction to another around 100k ride on daily basis, and he said, that most comfortable seats only Nissan have among all cars even M, AMG, GTI, R, RS and many other combinations of fancy letters top tier cars. 2025 Kia Carnival review
I traded a 2021 Telluride for the Carnival because it was more practical and versatile for transporting young children. Although they had the same trim levels, the quality of interior materials - seats, door panels, etc. - in the Telluride were superior to the Carnival. The "ride," handling and comfort of the Telluride also far exceeded that of the Carnival. I miss the Telluride but appreciate the functionally of the Carnival.

2025 Hyundai SONATA review
I had a 2025 Limited hybrid as a loaner and was extremely impressed with it! Quite frankly if I didn’t love EVs so much I would be getting one. My spouse has a 2025 Lexus ES and there are just a few features it has that the Limited Sonata lacks, but the Sonata has a LOT of features the ES doesn’t have, and the price difference between them is a brand new Nissan Versa. It’s very quiet and even when you floor the accelerator it’s really not bad for a 4 cylinder. The ride is every bit as good as the ES, if anything better probably due to the fact that the rims are 2 inches smaller. The driver assistance features work so smoothly. Really the only thing I was disappointed with was it doesn’t have power folding mirrors and my 2019 Hyundai Ioniq does, so that was surprising but it’s kinda an unnecessary feature anyway but I like it cuz I know if the mirrors are folded the car is locked. Also I wasn’t getting the MPG on the window sticker. Granted I only had it for one day and 65 miles, 95% interstate driving 75, but it was a struggle to reach what it’s rated at for the city driving. I feel like the city and highway numbers should be reversed, because it definitely prefers city driving. I also had a 2025 SEL AWD as a loaner for my last service visit, and it was fine but honestly nothing stood out to me. It was like a random rental car, nothing good but nothing bad either.

2025 Ford F-150 review
I purchased a new 2025 XLT powerboost about a month ago. Got around 1500 miles on it. The overall performance of the truck is awesome. Its a good looking truck. I have added tint windows, hard bed cover and I am getting the upgraded leather package for it as well. The gas mileage is great and with hybrid it gets even better. The handling is good. The stop & go is also great. I went from a 2020 Nissan Titan to this F150 and must say I am impressed overall with the truck. I happy about the warranty that ford provided and look to maybe get the extended warranty when the time comes.

2025 Jeep Wrangler review
Incredible vehicle. Especially if you put a manufacturer 3 inch lift on it and aftermarket wheels and tires and running boards. A total beast if you can’t afford the Renegade or if you are too upside down on your trade. If you don’t know the Jeep go get one. It’s life-changing.

2022 Rivian R1T review
This is the most ridiculous vehicle that I've ever owned by a wide margin, and while you can find a car that beats it in one category, taken as a whole, there is no close second for this Swiss Army Knife truck. You can take your lady to a black tie event in style, then load it up for some serious offroading and camping deep in the backcountry. My son's favorite feature is how it handles off-road, despite the modest tires; we often pass bigger traditional ICE off-road vehicles. If you are looking for a commuter, there are better value luxury EVs, but if you want one vehicle that does it all well, this is it. As for downsides, the top of my list is the servicing model. As a small company, you need to schedule far out. No calling to get a same-day or same-week service appt. like a legacy company with multiple local dealers to choose from. Luckily EVs in general don't need to go into the shop often.
