Used Mercedes-Benz CL-Class CL500 for sale near me

All AutoNation are not the same. I been buying high end cars all of my life including Porsche, Mercedes, BMW. I sold my Audi and needed a car so i went to AutoNation, The car I found was at AutoNation MB Orlando. It was a one owner MB S550 27K miles all service records. I called the MB Dealer to see if the car was available spoke to Brian Alburtus to ask about the condition of the car because it was not certified. I asked him if he could left me know the condition of the car {scratches dents curb rash ect}. His response was" of course it will have (scratches minor dents and curb rash we price it so we don't have to deal with it". This was so odd it insulted me. I called back felt a message for GM no return call. I called THIRD time spoke to used car Manager Herb he went to look at car said it was clean. . I then contact AutoNation Ft Myers to see if they could move the car down to FT Myers. Here the complete opposite experience I spoke to Hunter he said he Spoke to GM Tony and the decided to move the car into there inventory i put down a 1000 deposit. "come and see if you like it" I did come and see and bought the car. Talk about a complete different experience they were concerned about me and my needs. When the day came to pick up the car, I felt right at home all the nervous tension that come from talking to AutoNation MB Orlando was gone. This car is just about the best buy available at the present time. The combination of performance, elegance, handling and braking is INTOXICATING! You only need to drive one to understand. As with any car you need to do your homework and cars.com is one of many resources available. Also I HIGHLY recommend having ANY high end performance vehicle checked by a dealership so you know where you stand. Silver State Imports in Raleigh NC was most helpful in helping me with this and I recommend it and them. It will cost you $150.00 to $200.00 (more or less) but its money well spent on a used high performance luxury automobile.

It's lighter and that makes a difference. The interior and options are all you could ask for. Driving this car makes you feel special.

Rock solid engine when you do the spark plug and coil maintenance. Aluminum frame, Aluminum body parts, interior including dash leather and headliner parts, real wood, and solid switches and dials. Hydraulic suspension is supple and handles like one of the best, but must do the maintenance. Engine and transmission are snappy and fun to drive. Has rear seat and a v12!

I don't know about the Brabus improvements and what exactly it did to increase the value and/or performance of the car. I’ve also heard recently that this model was not a good one...

This is without a doubt one of the finest driving cars ever built. My CL600 is a dream car...powerful and smooth, with a ride so fine, I have never driven anything like it....new or used. I can't imagine ever getting tired of driving this car. And after 8 years, I still love the car.

Bought my 2002 almost a year ago and have fallen in love with everything about this machine. As soon as I purchased it, I had all fluids changed and plugs as car had 97k and didn’t have a lot of history on servicing. That was expensive but heard fluid maintenance on these was very important. Also changed main belt and both radiator hoses using genuine Mercedes parts which are not that expensive. Bottom line is this is a driving experience. Purchased the car super cheap and all in after 1 yr car owes me 11k. Try to find a better used car for 11k. Good luck.

This model will be a collector car. When you drive down the road you get respect and jelousy. Sometimes being a Mercedes it will fascinate lunatic manic personality traits in other vehichles. Overall the hydraulic pump for the ABC is 2800cdn installed and the struts are 875.00 aftermarket cdn. You do the math.. 8k to completely redo your suspension or buy this super cruiser for 15k and put 8k into it, way less than the depreciation on any car. Most American cars lose 40 percent of initial value after a couple years and are rusted. My car has no rust, no depreciation and just requires patience. The CL being an S class is also one of the safest cars on the planet to drive. In a catastrophic accident the engine and transmission are designed to break away from the car at over 150mph. Top speed is 260kmh and they all will do it effertlessly.

My cl 55 amg is a 2004 with 62,000 miles on it. I have done fuel system upgrades, cooling upgrades, ECU STAGE 3 upgrade, and methanol injection. I got rid of the rediculously expensive to repair ABC suspension and went with adjustable coilovers. The car is stupid fast and incredibly heavy, so the huge AMG brakes and the new Michelin 4s tires are the only thing keeping me alive so far. Incedibly beautiful 16 mpg car, but the physics of weight (4500 lbs.) and high speed will bite you if you aren't a skilled driver. Do not be overconfident in your abilities with this car. It is a beast. But, BUY ONE !!!!! NOW!!!

It's a very good car all my fixing on my car has always been under $300 my tune-ups around me no more than 400 to $1200 and I'm very thankful for my car

The vehicle is very comfortable and reliable. Very unexpectedly fast, and powerful. Also has a very sleek looking exterior. It?s truly the epitome of a luxury sports car.

For a used car, these are an extremely good deal. I didn't think I'd ever own a car that had an MSRP of nearly 100K. I think most look slightly plain on the exterior, but wheels can do wonders. Luckily I have lorinser effects on mine. I have had no problems out of the infamous ABC suspension. I hope that is the case for a long time. It has a ride like no other car I've been in. It's exceptional! Keep up on the maintenance and treat them right and you will have a terrific cars for many years to come. I'd suggest finding a good independent mechanic who specializes in german imports to do the maintenance and repairs. You will save a lot of my that route instead of the stealership. Things that make the car stand out and above most others to me are: power assisted closing doors & trunk, All leather interior including the dash and door panels, ABC hydraulic suspension, many compartments on the interior, ventilated seats (with mine had the massaging option) and the horse power. Even the entry level 500 has great "get up and go". I couldn't be happier with a used car.
