Best Mercedes I have ever owned. Accept for normal maintenance the car has never had a service call. The Brigstone tires that came with the were terrible. Only got 20,000 miles out of them.

The manager Nas Nazari wasn’t just trying to sell me a car—he actually took the time to educate me on how to make a smart purchase and avoid getting stuck with a bad deal anywhere. He made it clear that buying a car is a serious commitment, and once you buy, there are absolutely NO RETURNS. To help me make the best decision, he shared five key things every buyer should look out for: 1️⃣ Check the Vehicle History – They emphasized how important it is to review a full history report to avoid hidden surprises. A clean record means fewer risks! So get your own Carfax. 2️⃣ Have the Car Inspected – They strongly recommended bringing in a trusted mechanic to inspect the car before buying. A small upfront cost can save thousands in repairs later. 3️⃣ Understand the Warranty – They made sure I knew exactly what was covered and what wasn’t so I wouldn’t be caught off guard with unexpected repair costs. Their Cars are "AS IS" so when you drive off its all on you. The 30 day return document is a formality that will not be honored. 4️⃣ Review the Financing Terms – They Explained that none of their advertised EV cars get the discount it is just a way to get people through the door but they explained my financing options, including interest rates, monthly payments, and any potential hidden fees, so there were no surprises. You will be told you can refinance your car later by their finance guy but Nas let me know chances are slim since their cars have a salvage title. 5️⃣ Take a Thorough Test Drive – Instead of a quick spin, they encouraged me to test the car under different road conditions to make sure it felt right. Additional Important Steps They Advised: 🔴 No Returns Policy – Once you sign, the car is yours. They emphasized doing all research beforehand, getting an inspection, and making sure I was 100% confident before committing. 🔴 Salvage Title Considerations – Many of their vehicles have salvage titles, which means: Insurance rates will likely be higher, and some insurance companies won’t cover salvage vehicles at all—so check before buying. Resale and trade-in value will be lower, and some dealerships won’t take salvage vehicles. Many banks won’t finance salvage titles, so you may need to pay in cash or use a lender that specializes in these purchases. 🔴 Check the Vehicle’s Value with Other Dealers – One of the best tips the manager gave me was to take the VIN numbers of the cars I was interested in and check with other dealerships to see what they would pay for it. This way, I could compare prices and see if I was actually getting a fair deal. That level of transparency really impressed me! I truly appreciated how upfront and honest they were. They didn’t pressure me into buying but instead gave me all the tools to make an informed decision. I bought a new iPhone17 Pro and tried to connected with my car (E300, 2017). It did not work. I tried many times at home with the instruction but still did not work. Then I drove my car to my car dealer. When I waited for asking service people, Mr. Cameron Johnson came to me with a nice smile. I told him my problem with my new iPhone bluetooth connection with my car. He immediately went to my car to look into. He was very skillful and quickly fixed problem. This should be a great one for me. Then he did further to ask about my car's Apple CarPlay. I said I never used it. He was very nice to explain to me how to make work. He then did even more to go back to his office to bring a cable connector to connect my iPhone to my car. Then my car's Car Play worked!! It warmed my heart for his great service. I am very very happy with his highest lever service and would like to give him great mark on his customer first attitude. He did service things beyond my highest expectation. 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 review
I have owned our EQS 580 for about a month. It is my third Mercedes S Class vehicle, I owned a 2007 S550 4matic and subsequently a 2017 S550 4matic that I traded for the EQS 580. In addition to the typical benefits of its superior battery electric technology, the EQS is a more powerful yet quieter, more cosseting and more serene vehicle than either of my former top of the marque Mercedes cars. I measured the actual sound level inside the EQS at 73 MPH highway speed and found that it was 3db lower than than in my 2017 S class. The back seat area is not quite so opulent or roomy as those in my former ICE S class cars, but I did not opt for the highest level rear seat appointments in the EQS because we have never used the back seat for passengers except for relatively short trips in connection with social or business engagements. Even the unadorned EQS back seat is better than that of any other high end domestic or foreign brands we have owned. Our back seat passengers to date have invariably been impressed with the surroundings and comfort of the EQS. The car's lift back design provides a prodigious cargo capacity that makes it easy to pack for vacations or trips with large items. Even without lowering the rear seats, the practical capacity of the area behind the rear seat is substantially larger and more accessible than the cargo area of our Lexus SUV. The precise steering and excellent Level 2 driver assist capabilities of the EQS make driving a very easy and relaxing experience. The lack of shift points and the excellent one pedal driving capabilities of the car make operating it very satisfying. At first, the brake pedal feels a little odd when the car is in its maximum regeneration mode, but it's easy to get used to the feel, and the brakes are excellent. As with the S580, the EQS has 10 degrees of rear wheel steering that gives the vehicle a surprisingly small turning circle. It's too early to assess reliability of my EQS, but my previous ICE S550s were extremely reliable for a total of more than 200,000 aggregate miles, so I don't anticipate any problems. The onboard software, including the range planning software and the phone app, is excellent, and the hyper screen map display is unequaled. The controls, head up display and voice command system are essentially the same as those in the 2022 Mercedes S580. I opted for the augmented reality head up display, and I am very pleased with it. I am learning to drive for maximum range, and my average combined energy use so far over 1735 miles has been 327.5 wH/mile for a combined range of about 329 miles with full summer climate control engaged. Recently, I have learned to drive so as to increase the combined highway/city range to about 365 miles (295 wH/mile). The EPA range estimate is 340 miles (317 wH/mile) Edmunds got 422 miles on a full charge (255 wH/mile) in an EQS 450+, and I am working toward that goal. It will be interesting to manage the expected 20% reduction for winter range. High speed charging on the road is very fast on a 100 kW DC charger. The car will accept up to a 200 kW DC charge rate. I have charged the car on a Level 2 AC charger at about 9kW and a Level 1 charger at about 1.4 kW. The Level 1 charging is quite slow (ca. 4.5 miles/charging hour), but it is adequate in a pinch. I replaced the portable charger that came with the car with a Shell portable 40 Amp charger with a NEMA 14-50 to NEMA 5-15 adapter that will function as a level 1 or as a level 2 charger. I would not order the Mercedes charger and would apply the money toward the Shell charger if I had to do it over. Of course, the EQS 580 is very expensive, costing about as much as a similarly equipped S580, but such is the cost of top of the marque excellence. The EQS moves the Mercedes S class experience up to the next level and portends well for the continued dominance of S class luxury in our new world of electric vehicles.
