2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class review
I am now 3 years into ownership of a 2018 CLS 550, which I purchased new. The motivating factor to buy was that this was to be the last year that the big twin turbo V8 would be offered and it is a wonderful powerplant. I have not had one moment of regret since the day I picked my car up at the dealership and this includes MB service, which has been superb. I have done a few minor upgrades to the car, such as adding CarPlay, eliminating the engine shutoff feature, adding a rear spoiler and swapping out the standard front grill for an AMG vertical bar version. I haven't owned a car for 3 years+ in 50 years of driving, but every time I start to look at replacing my CLS, I can't find a vehicle that I would be satisfied with over the CLS, without spending well north of $100k. I love the power, the handling, the luxury features and the gorgeous lines of this car. In my opinion, at its current used car price, if you could find a 2015-2018 model year, (pretty much the same car) with low mileage, its one of the best used cars available. Strongly recommend.

2023 Mercedes-Benz S-Class review
My CPO 2023 S500 MHEV was very slightly used - 400 to 900 miles and had been registered for three months. It's and excellent & well made car. The shifting is so smooth, it's hardly noticeable. The multi-contour seats are unmatched elsewhere in the auto industry. This luxurious & safe car gets 32 to 35 MPG on highway trips. The CPO version actually provided me a longer & better warranty than the original factory warranty.

2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 review
I have owned our EQS 580 for about a month. It is my third Mercedes S Class vehicle, I owned a 2007 S550 4matic and subsequently a 2017 S550 4matic that I traded for the EQS 580. In addition to the typical benefits of its superior battery electric technology, the EQS is a more powerful yet quieter, more cosseting and more serene vehicle than either of my former top of the marque Mercedes cars. I measured the actual sound level inside the EQS at 73 MPH highway speed and found that it was 3db lower than than in my 2017 S class. The back seat area is not quite so opulent or roomy as those in my former ICE S class cars, but I did not opt for the highest level rear seat appointments in the EQS because we have never used the back seat for passengers except for relatively short trips in connection with social or business engagements. Even the unadorned EQS back seat is better than that of any other high end domestic or foreign brands we have owned. Our back seat passengers to date have invariably been impressed with the surroundings and comfort of the EQS. The car's lift back design provides a prodigious cargo capacity that makes it easy to pack for vacations or trips with large items. Even without lowering the rear seats, the practical capacity of the area behind the rear seat is substantially larger and more accessible than the cargo area of our Lexus SUV. The precise steering and excellent Level 2 driver assist capabilities of the EQS make driving a very easy and relaxing experience. The lack of shift points and the excellent one pedal driving capabilities of the car make operating it very satisfying. At first, the brake pedal feels a little odd when the car is in its maximum regeneration mode, but it's easy to get used to the feel, and the brakes are excellent. As with the S580, the EQS has 10 degrees of rear wheel steering that gives the vehicle a surprisingly small turning circle. It's too early to assess reliability of my EQS, but my previous ICE S550s were extremely reliable for a total of more than 200,000 aggregate miles, so I don't anticipate any problems. The onboard software, including the range planning software and the phone app, is excellent, and the hyper screen map display is unequaled. The controls, head up display and voice command system are essentially the same as those in the 2022 Mercedes S580. I opted for the augmented reality head up display, and I am very pleased with it. I am learning to drive for maximum range, and my average combined energy use so far over 1735 miles has been 327.5 wH/mile for a combined range of about 329 miles with full summer climate control engaged. Recently, I have learned to drive so as to increase the combined highway/city range to about 365 miles (295 wH/mile). The EPA range estimate is 340 miles (317 wH/mile) Edmunds got 422 miles on a full charge (255 wH/mile) in an EQS 450+, and I am working toward that goal. It will be interesting to manage the expected 20% reduction for winter range. High speed charging on the road is very fast on a 100 kW DC charger. The car will accept up to a 200 kW DC charge rate. I have charged the car on a Level 2 AC charger at about 9kW and a Level 1 charger at about 1.4 kW. The Level 1 charging is quite slow (ca. 4.5 miles/charging hour), but it is adequate in a pinch. I replaced the portable charger that came with the car with a Shell portable 40 Amp charger with a NEMA 14-50 to NEMA 5-15 adapter that will function as a level 1 or as a level 2 charger. I would not order the Mercedes charger and would apply the money toward the Shell charger if I had to do it over. Of course, the EQS 580 is very expensive, costing about as much as a similarly equipped S580, but such is the cost of top of the marque excellence. The EQS moves the Mercedes S class experience up to the next level and portends well for the continued dominance of S class luxury in our new world of electric vehicles.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Karol Powers at Mercedes-Benz South Bay in Torrance. This is the second vehicle I have purchased with Karol, and once again, she exceeded every expectation. Karol is kind, professional, caring, knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor that makes the entire car-buying experience enjoyable. What I appreciate most is that she is honest and straightforward. There is no endless back-and-forth, no pressure, and no feeling of being taken advantage of. She truly listens to her customers and works to make the process smooth and stress-free. Unfortunately, I recently had to purchase another vehicle after being involved in a serious car accident. It was a very stressful and traumatic experience, but Mercedes-Benz made a difficult situation much easier. Within literally seconds of the accident, after both the upper and lower airbags deployed (I didn't even know my vehicle had a lower airbag), Mercedes-Benz contacted me through the SOS feature in the vehicle. The representative immediately checked on my well-being, asking if I was hurt, bleeding, breathing okay, and ensuring I was alert and responsive. They also informed me that emergency services had been dispatched. The speed, professionalism, and genuine concern they showed during such a frightening moment meant more to me than words can express. Experiences like that remind me why I continue to choose Mercedes-Benz. Knowing that the company genuinely cares about the safety and well-being of its customers provides a level of comfort and confidence that is priceless. 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class review
Without a doubt the most fun luxury car I've owned. Everyone has warned me about how much it costs to fix. I'd like to confirm or dismiss their predictions, but nothing has broken. Other than expensive oil changes and different sized tires that can't be rotated, I haven't done anything but put gas in it.

That kind of care and attention really stood out. The rest of the sales department was just as wonderful. Everyone was understanding, easy to work with, and made the entire process feel simple. I went in buying my first Lexus. I left a Lexus mark for life. Thank you again to James and the entire team. I am still driving this car after 11 years. I spent about $2200 on average per year to fix or replace this thing. Still drives good, far more expensive that I would like it to be.

2012 Mercedes-Benz S-Class review
60,000 miles and 9 years now having some issues. Front differential leak, driver active multi contour seat repair, coolant return hose small leak not major. I’ve test driven a number of other luxury flagships and still find the W-221 S Class to be more comfortable and road worthy. Local independent shop provides excellent service at a significant savings from MB dealership. Still love this car and do not regret purchasing even tho repair and maintenance costs are high!

2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class review
We have a model 3 but we want a more comfortable car with similar performance on gas. This car with all the technology packages are more comfortable than model 3 but as smart in terms of driving assistance.
