Very reliable vehicle, runs great, flex fuel. Very clean inside and out. Good car for any age, sporty, yet comfortable for every day needs. Has towing package too.

2008 Mercury Mountaineer review
This vehicle was originally rated at 15 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. I get 16 mpg in the city and 22 to 23 mpg on the highway in the summer and 20 to 21 in the winter. I have 243,000 miles on this vehicle. Drawback at this time is probable short in the wiring in which the drivers power seat will sometimes go back unexpectedly. Also excessive rust below door entry points. Tows very well(22’ camper)
