Late one December Saturday afternoon, I just wanted to look around at new cars at the GM dealership closest to my house. While walking around the parking lot, I met AJ, the salesperson watching the lot. For the next hour we walked around the lot checking out different GM models trying to determine which one would meet all or most of criteria as I did not have a set model in mind. I left Saturday with a better understanding of the GM models. The following Monday, I discovered a 2026 Equinox Activ that had been delivered to the lot (it had just been delivered and was not in the front area) and contacted AJ about it. He said it was there and would have it ready for me to look at within the hour (I live 10 minutes away). The car met all of the criteria I had given AJ on Saturday. A test drive, a quick trip to see how well it fit in my garage, convinced me this was my car. On Tuesday, after some trade-in value negotiation and AJ's unwillingness to let this sale slip away, I purchased it and drove it home the same day. AJ was the perfect salesperson for this situation, he listened, he informed, and he laughed at my car stories. He knew how to have a genuine conversation with his customer.

This vehicle is 3.0 Duramax engine. By all means it is a wonderful engine. The internet is reporting problems with it. Although I have not had a problem I am concerned. Super cruise is awesome. GM must resolve any issues because this is by all means the best vehicle on the market right now.

This has been such an exciting and smooth purchase. We credit Dan Jones for that. He has made this total experience hassle free. We were able to follow the path our car took along the way. Upon receiving the car, he spent all the time necessary to familiarize us with all the NUMEROUS options. He is still available for any and all questions ( although because of his time spent with us) there was only one. He certainly is extremely knowledgeable about the this car (and all cars). Great SUV, the new displays are stunning. The only thing I’m not a fan of is there’s only 1 usb-a and 1 usb-c in the front (on Premier there are none in the center console) and no Cigarette lighter.

I saw this car driving by the dealership and automatically was drawn to it because of its color. GMC calls it brown but one print out called it crystal metallic purple. It changes colors depending on the weather. I love the handling, the dash and all the bells and whistles! My grandchildren love how much room that it has!

Purchased a 2026 RS with all the Toys. Love the larger size. This is my 3rd Equinox and so far it is the best overall. The only thing I haven't figured out is the windshield display which the salesman also couldn't do. When I get a chance I will figure it out.

The huge computer screen in the center counsel was slow and unresponsive during the cold weather months. Actually, the computer screen is the only issue with the truck.
