Johnny and Adam are THE BEST!!!! I bought my first Subaru Forrester there 10 years ago. But my experience today at was.....I have NO words to explain how awesome they both were. They were SO helpful with EVERYTHING. I hated to let my Forrester go, but it was time. 😟 Those are two of the greatest guys OMG.....They had us feeling relaxed. I have never had so much fun buying a car. Both Johnny and Adam had us laughing the whole time. And again, who laughs at a time when you HAVE to get another vehicle. I don't! But I did! Thank you so much Johnny and Adam! You guys ARE THE BESTEST! I will tell EVERYONE about our experience there and tell them "ASK YOUR NEIGHBOR!!!🤣🤣
2026 Subaru Outback review
I had some weird requirements. I bought a full-sized spare exactly like the other wheels/tires on the car so I wanted it to fit in the wheel well. It did that. I also wanted a car that had a very convenient way of turning off the auto on/off feature where the car's engine turns off when you come to a light. I also wanted AWD. The cabin is quieter than my previous car so that's also a plus. The seats are very comfortable. The only small negative is that the map lights are very weak. I will have them replaced with LED bulbs at the car's first oil change at 3000 miiles.

2026 Subaru Ascent review
Have had Ascent for 3 weeks. Have learned most of the controls. A couple of the safety features are annoying and have disabled them. Sound system is great! Ride and quietness are wonderful. Handling on mountain roads not quite as good as my 2014 Outback but still very good. Only real gripes are interior side of driver's door has sharp edges which bother my left knee in normal driving position and not as much room for personal glovebox junk as I had in my Outback. Gets overall about 22 mpg.

I recently had an extremely positive experience at Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi in North Hills. Having just retired, I was interested in a small hatchback and eventually they set me up with a pre-certified 2021 Mirage with about 50,000 miles on it and I got a great price. The process was seamless from my initial outreach to the General Sales Manager Bill Driscoll via email to this person then setting me up with John Barbour as my official sales representative. John was great, very attentive, and offered excellent customer service. It’s just great to have a dedicated person walk you through everything related to the car and contract and also provide honest estimates of how long the process takes. Most importantly, John was very patient and extremely helpful when we encountered a couple of very minor issues. Kudos also to the whole team I dealt with, from Melisa who greeted me in such a friendly manner to Corey Davidson (Sales Manager) and Dakota Carson in sales. Lastly, its’ definitely worth noting that they have a very collaborative and friendly culture, and there’s obviously a priority there to building a sense of community. I know how corny and cliché it sounds to describe a business culture as “family-like,” but it is nice to engage with people at a business who genuinely seem to like each other and enjoy providing exceptional service to customers. 2026 Mazda CX-50 review
The CX-50 is a great car. The exterior and interior are sleek and luxurious, and it drives great. The combo leather/canvas seats are awesome, because you still get the look of leather without the sticky/sweaty feel. Responsive infotainment system and variety of control options (joystick, touch screen, steering wheel buttons) is nice. AWD works great for me in the mountains.

2026 Cadillac CT4-V review
So far, so good. My only real gripe is that a few interior details don’t feel as premium as they should, things like the sun visor, the lining inside the center console, and a couple other trim pieces. Weirdly, my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited has better lining materials and some more “premium” finishes than the CT4-V does in a few spots. That said, the seats are excellent, the climate controls are very good, and the infotainment is great, although it’s smaller than more modern cars, but I’ve found it’s perfect for this car, at least for me. Overall, it’s genuinely one of the most fun road cars I’ve ever driven. Passengers? Who needs them! The back seats are kinda just for show, so if you’re shopping for a family car or people carrier, this isn’t it. But if you want something that feels luxury (mostly), quick, and fun, this is a great vehicle. I also wouldn’t recommend the lower trims. I drove them all before deciding, and the V or Blackwing seemed the most worth the money. Bottom line, even with a few less-luxurious interior details, when I compared it to Mercedes, BMW, and other compact similarly spec'd luxury performance sedans, I couldn’t find anything that could compete for the price. I just wish they made this exact car in an electric because Cadillac electric cars are ugly AF.
