2006 Honda Ridgeline review
I have had my 2006 Honda Ridgeline/steel blue metallic for 20 years and I love it!!! I've had some mild issues with it. But I love it anyway. I've had some crazy fun in it and gave it a transmission leak by using the 4 wheel drive a few times, with no experience, ok. But I made my transmission leak problem go away simply by watching it for a few months and adding ATF when needed and adding stop leak to the transmission fluid and a few months later, NO MORE LEAKS!!! We just could not afford $1,300 to have that fixed by the dealer at Southwest Honda in Amarillo, TX. I love and hope to keep driving my Honda truck into my old age years for a long time and I only have 87,000 miles on it so far. Currently its got some minor damage and a bit of missing paint, but I still love it. My xhusband picked that out for me and I thought it looked like a space ship at first. But he took me to the dealer and a great salesman by the name of Jim Dia sold it to us for me to drive. I love the trunk in the bed, that is too cool. My tailgate works just fine. My bed liner coating is a bit scratched up because I've used the bed to do all kinds of stuff. I put a ladder in the bed of that truck and climbed on the roof of my house before. I've pulled down dead tree branches before, in that truck and alot more!!! I brag about that truck. Also, my Ridgeline has some different add ons, like the flare kit over the tires, bug reflectors on all 4 windows and hood, metal tube step rails on both sides, and step tow hitch. I pulled my first trailer/med. Size UHAUL from Missouri to Texas in 2022 to move my mom, that was scary and fun, I wanted to see if I could do it and I did it with no problems. I can't remember all the memories, but I've always worked threw the minor stuff and I still love my 2006 Honda Ridgeline. I always have, I always will. I told my xhusband at the time, over and over that I love the truck and I don't want a new one, because of the high interest we had to pay because of our poor credit scores and the hard work, joy, the blood , sweat and tears that I personally went threw. That truck is personal to me and I still love it 20 years later!!! That truck made it on the cover of CAR AND DRIVER MAGAZINE, back in 2006 and I was proud to drive it then and I'm still proud of it!!! Thank you so much, Honda, for making a really cool truck!!! 2013 Ford Expedition EL review
I purchased it used 6 months ago with very high mileage. I am still in shock of how good this vehicle is. For starters, not having to do specifically or exclusively with Expeditions, this vehicle is very clean in an out and all around. The paint still shines like new and I believe it to be original, 9/10. The interior shows very light ware. Some leather conditioner and she’ll be a 10/10. The reality is that vehicles like these are usually purchased by very large families with kids so the interiors are usually bad news. Having said that, the previous owner of this vehicle REALLY LOVED this truck as I do. 200k miles on the clock and this thing rides like a dream. I have all the same features and options as the unit used for this article, with the addition of video player with dual monitors on the headrests. The gas mileage is not great but I work from home and we have a multi vehicle household so the gas mileage was not as much a concern for me as it may be for others. In all honesty, I spend my time driving it around on weekends trying to find things to do or cargo to fill it up with just because I can. I am not a handy guy so projects around the house are handled by payed handymen, but I am literally always trying to think about what I can put in it. I am considering purchasing a small travel trailer for some camping adventures. The one thing I am tempted to do, but won’t, is to take a very long road trip in it. I won’t because it does have the previously mentioned 200k on the odometer and because I am not handy, I don’t want to have something go wrong 1k miles from home, but it is so tempting. This is truly one of, if not THE BEST vehicle I’ve ever owned. If you want to look trendy or like to attract attention with a flashy car, this is not the one for you. It looks very dated. My last piece of advice, DO NOT BE OVER CONFIDENT WITH YOUR DRIVING ABILITIES. If you are intimidated by driving a VERY LARGE vehicle in tight spaces or don’t like to use your mirrors to back up because, “I got this,” with your backup camera, this vehicle is not for you. You should be skilled behind the wheel to own this vehicle. I would most certainly recommend this vehicle to anyone in the market for this type of vehicle.

2007 Ford F-150 review
In 2007, I traded my ‘99 Expedition in on my current 2097 F-150 crew cab, 4X4 Lariat, big block V8. What a great truck she has been. Great driver in dark brown over lite brown, that looks great, my neighbor keeps trying to buy it from me. The power is great, very comfortable ride on leather seats, CD and satellite radio, I added a cap over the box in matching factory colors. 110,000 on the odometer, with zero problems. I keep up with factory recommended maintenance and I’ve never had any problems. I’ve looked at the newer model F-150s but have never liked the idea of leaving my 2007. Bottom line, this has been a great value for me.

I had the best buying/trading experience ever with Tyler from Holland Brothers Motors. He is a straight up dude that went out of his way for me multiple times. He didn't shove more expensive trucks, GAP insurance, and warranties down my throat like everyone else does these days. He also noticed that if the financed amount was $200 less, then my interest rate would drop a half a percent. Without thinking twice he lowered the cost of the truck by $200 for me which saved me close to a thousand dollars in the long run; $10 a month for 72 months and $200 off the truck. Most dealers wouldn’t have even cared to mention it, let alone take the $200 hit for me! Most would judge me for showing up in a high value trade in and think, “Meh, he can afford it.” Tyler genuinely seemed to care and want to help. I drove 2 hours there and 2 hours back TWICE for my truck and would do it again to deal with Tyler instead of any of the crappy local Atl dealers.

2014 Honda Accord review
This is hands down the best car I have ever owned!! I've had it 11 years and my 2014 Honda Accord has never needed a repair. I have only ever had to do regular maintenance on it (battery, brake pads, tires, etc). What an incredible value at $22K!!! One feature that has been buggy is the infotainment/Bluetooth but I can live with it.

2019 Kia Forte review
I am a long time owner of a Kia Forte 2019 bought it in 2018. I have almost had it for 5 years now. It has around 80,000 miles of trouble-free driving. I do the necessary maintenance that's it. The pros of this car it's easy on the eyes and easy to pay for. It didn't take me long to double my payments and pay this wonderful machine off. I also like the fact I don't have to go to the gas pumps much. I can go 435 miles on a simple tank of gas. I get about 43.5 miles a gallon highway and average around 34.5 City and mix driving. I love all of the safety features I have lane keep assist frontal crash anti-lock braking and traction control. I even have done some pretty good snow driving with all season radials Continental. It also has a neat feature where it will drive by itself for about a minute. I have the XLS model. So yes I have the Ivt transmission it has worked very well. I don't understand why everybody was so insecure about this Ivt drivetrain it is ran on a chain not a belt. I have nothing but great things to say about Kia engineering. I don't know why but for some reason the 2019 Kia Forte does not have many of the problems associated in the news. I also have the new anti-theft that Kia Motors placed at no charge to me. I think the days are gone when you can complain about Kia recalls. I think we've seen in the news even Honda, Toyota and Nissan have all had recalls also. I feel like Kia turned a big corner in 2013 on making great automobiles. I like them because they're easy on the budget and very reliable and good on gas. I also like the fact there is a lot of room that comes with these vehicles. I also have a Kia Sorento V6 2019 that is also been a good vehicle. Like they say Kia has the power to surprise. Forget keeping up with the Jones get a car that will save you money.

2016 Nissan Sentra review
I recommend this car for city driving though interstate driving is ok. I bought it new with 54 miles on it. I don't even have 11000 mi on it in 9 years. I've only replaced the battery twice and engine air filter once. The car is comfortable and reliable including tire pressure warnings during snow.

2014 Chevrolet Traverse review
I have now had this car for over five years, as the second owner, and have over 275,000 miles. It's not as comfortable as Suburban, and doesn't handle as nicely as a mini van, but most of the issues to this point have been cosmetic or fairly normal for the vehicle category (suspension, etc). I have the most basic package; The interior is showing wear, and the driver information center's light sensor has been acting up for a while, but it still gets us where we need to go.

2006 Honda Ridgeline review
I have had my 2006 Honda Ridgeline/steel blue metallic for 20 years and I love it!!! I've had some mild issues with it. But I love it anyway. I've had some crazy fun in it and gave it a transmission leak by using the 4 wheel drive a few times, with no experience, ok. But I made my transmission leak problem go away simply by watching it for a few months and adding ATF when needed and adding stop leak to the transmission fluid and a few months later, NO MORE LEAKS!!! We just could not afford $1,300 to have that fixed by the dealer at Southwest Honda in Amarillo, TX. I love and hope to keep driving my Honda truck into my old age years for a long time and I only have 87,000 miles on it so far. Currently its got some minor damage and a bit of missing paint, but I still love it. My xhusband picked that out for me and I thought it looked like a space ship at first. But he took me to the dealer and a great salesman by the name of Jim Dia sold it to us for me to drive. I love the trunk in the bed, that is too cool. My tailgate works just fine. My bed liner coating is a bit scratched up because I've used the bed to do all kinds of stuff. I put a ladder in the bed of that truck and climbed on the roof of my house before. I've pulled down dead tree branches before, in that truck and alot more!!! I brag about that truck. Also, my Ridgeline has some different add ons, like the flare kit over the tires, bug reflectors on all 4 windows and hood, metal tube step rails on both sides, and step tow hitch. I pulled my first trailer/med. Size UHAUL from Missouri to Texas in 2022 to move my mom, that was scary and fun, I wanted to see if I could do it and I did it with no problems. I can't remember all the memories, but I've always worked threw the minor stuff and I still love my 2006 Honda Ridgeline. I always have, I always will. I told my xhusband at the time, over and over that I love the truck and I don't want a new one, because of the high interest we had to pay because of our poor credit scores and the hard work, joy, the blood , sweat and tears that I personally went threw. That truck is personal to me and I still love it 20 years later!!! That truck made it on the cover of CAR AND DRIVER MAGAZINE, back in 2006 and I was proud to drive it then and I'm still proud of it!!! Thank you so much, Honda, for making a really cool truck!!! 2017 Ford Escape review
This vehicle has been awesome from the day I first started driving it. Great on gas, engine is very responsive and reliable. A/C is very cold and the starts so nicely every time. The engine has all the power you would ever need. This one is a 2.0 Turbo. I have kept this car serviced regularly and it has performed flawlessly.

2014 Jeep Cherokee review
I drive a lot my car is a 2014 and it has currently 277,400 miles and still ticking. I’ve had very few maintenance issues overall the basic wear and tear as expected! I didn’t expect it would last as long as it has but I am being pleasantly surprised. It is great on gas compared to most SUVs and overall a comfortable car !

2019 RAM ProMaster City review
Perfect for our senior road trips. (With the exception of the placement of cup holders). The cargo space allows us to leave possessions in the van, out of sight, on overnight stays.

2007 Buick LaCrosse review
I have owned a 2007 Lacrosse for 15 years now and love that car very much. The only problem I have ever had is the coolant system currently. This car is extremely reliable and fuel efficient. The slow pickup is due to the type of engine Buick puts in to prolong the life and performance. I have the medium red version shown above with tan interior. Some owners do not take care of these cars as should be done which create issues written about in the other reviews. Proper care helps a LaCrosse perform as designed and the owner smile as I do showing off an award winner when first debuted. None can compare to my LaCrosse or be as great to drive. This car would not be traded for anything!!!! Eventually, it will become classic status at which time a full restoration will be attempted. I love Big Red and so does my chichuahua.

2013 Nissan Rogue review
I have owned a 2013 Rogue for 10 years. It has traveled north, south, east and west multiple times with no issues until just now. Catalytic Converter and a run in with a deer. Would i get another one? Absolutely.

2017 Nissan Altima review
I love everything about this car! Except the CVT system. It's giving me problems now. Go back to old transmission!! Love these cars though! The CVT tends to break down alot faster than the older normal geared transmissions.

2012 Honda CR-V review
It's longer than most SUVs. I've been able to haul both drywall and plywood still closing the rear door. It's been great to travel with, the back seats fold all the way down.

I bought my first 2015 fiat 500 sport in 2025 with 62,000 miles it averages 29 mpg in the city I up graded the pioneer system and added the beats audio sub in the rear hatch and changed the amp to match the car it rust free no winters ever installed a injen cold air intake abarth rear wing Toyo tires tinted windows this car has been a good car I will definitely keep it

2012 Land Rover LR4 review
The LR4 may be the coolest vehicle I ever owned. It's a real classic. It offers a royal view over the other cars and feels very luxurious. It's also surprisingly practical. Its boxy shape creates a cavernous cargo area that is perfect for hauling all sorts of stuff. And it handles well on snow and off road. The only downside was my constant fear of an expensive repair. But if you buy one and get repair insurance, you should overcome that. You could call it a poor man's Defender because it matches the new Defender on many specs for a fraction of the price. This is a special rig.
