2015 Porsche Cayenne review
Was looking for an SUV for everyday/long-haul drives that met my priorities - safety, comfort, reliability, fuel economy. This one has them in spades! Superior ride quality, excellent fuel economy (I have the diesel version), and very sporty. The interior is very elegant with well laid out controls. I just wish it had a bit more power (diesel version). Overall, very solid, practical, comfortable, sporty SUV.

I seen a listing for a vehicle that I was interested in and went to inquire about it. Was taken to vehicle and then was told to take it out for a drive. No judgement, no questions. I got to do a real test drive with the type of driving I do, in areas that I drive. About 40 miles and over an hour of driving later, we arrived at the shop. Instead of getting pushed into purchasing, we talked about the vehicle for about 30 minutes. Sales person actually knew everything about the vehicle and answered my questions truthfully. I was never felt any pressure to purchase anything. Very laid back atmosphere. Transaction of purchase was quick and easy. Normally an hour or so of paperwork only took 15 minutes. After the purchase, I didn't have the feeling of buyers remorse, or regret. It's this type of environment that makes shopping for a vehicle actually something that can be enjoyed. Definitely would go back again.

I don't know what the fuss is in some of the reviews. As a customer, you must practice due diligence. Hindsight is 20/20. Bought 2 trucks from them and will probably go back when I need another. I'm not saying the cars are perfect but what can you expect when buying a used car. If you want security in your purchase, go to a dealership with certified used cars for sale. Go pay an extra $5000+ if that's what you need. If not be selective. Be patient. Be courteous to salesman. If you don't like the experience, up to you yo wLk away. I'm happy with both my trucks! 2016 Porsche Cayenne review
This review is for 2016 GTS model. After owning this car for a year / 20k miles, it left mixed impressions. Good: - very engaging, fun ride. Especially after installing fabspeed cat bypass and in the sport+ mode, the car sounds amazing - handling is good, its not jumpy on high speeds - interior quality - overall this was my best car to date for long road trips, not only it’s not tiring, but also fun, even on 12 hour drive. - the looks … gts model looks amazing … you cannot tell it from the 2023 model from the front, and the back overall looks better - nice gas tank size, dont need to refuel often - seats are comfortable - the AC and air quality inside the car is very good Bad: - honestly the car has mechanical flaw. You can find more info on this online, but the transmission is jerky on low speed and abrupt during breaking. The car had transfer case changed twice and it did not help. Imo this is the software issue - the v6 engine is weak. Comparing to x6m this is a totally different game. It cannot compete - trunk space is a disaster … the trunk is tiny - overall reliability, there’s been a couple of faults here and there Overall I am confused with the experience. While it was a fun car, I would have expected much more from porsche in terms of reliability and performance. Maintenance of a car is another issue, you can’t just drop by at any decent shop, because most don’t work on porsche. Those that do, are booked or don’t accept the 3rd party warranty

2020 Porsche Macan review
Recently purchased the 2020 Macan GTS, so still in 'honeymoon' phase. That said, no issues to report. Pretty amazing how the vehicle can change personalities. Can be Dr. Jeckyl - smooth, quiet, refined touring car. Click a few buttons and its Mr. Hyde - growling, fast, quick steering tall hatchback that is ready for twisting roads or highway blast. Not encountered a vehicle that does this touring/sport change as well. Another standout for the 2020 is ability to go 'old school' buttons/analog - or modern digital interfaces. Like all the buttons, once you get to know them. Quick and less distraction from road. Rear seat is snug for anyone over 6 foot. Chose this over the Audi SQ5 - but it was a close contest. GTS wins on driving dynamics, but SQ5 is a wonderful luxury experience. Hard to resist the Porsche once you drive it. Does the luxury part pretty darn well too. Wow.

Jake, my rep, was really the workhorse though. Jake took notes of everything I said I wanted, but then took it several steps further and brought up features I didn’t even know I needed! I thought Tesla held the title for longest range, until he introduced me to Lucid, which I test drove the 2023 Lucid Air… incredible. I needed some “hand holding” to figure out what I wanted, but Jake did that for me and I’m grateful.

2018 Porsche Macan review
Purchased as a CPO. So far it is fantastic. Performance, Styling, fit and finish are as expected in a Porsche. Reliability will be a measure moving forward. So far for a 5 year old car with under 50K miles it is like new. Time will tell if it develops the good ole German oil leaks (I’ve yet to own an Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, and VW that didn’t leak oil as it got older.)

Riley Harmon created a flawless car-buying experience for me, even as an out-of-state buyer. As a life-long car enthusiast, I consider myself a demanding buyer. I know what I want from the car, and I want the car-buying experience to be fun by being easy. To ensure that, Riley was responsive, communicative, clear, friendly, professional, patient, and informative, among other things. He responded to every phone call, email, text message in a very reasonable time, and was clear in communication and explanation of their process. The car I bought was the only one in the country in the right color and options combo, which is why I was making the purchase from out-of-state. Not once did he pressure me in any way, despite the unique inventory. The Alfa Romeo I bought has been a life goal, but I wanted to remain rational about the major purchase, so not feeling pressured was important. I flew to Kansas City (my first visit) before the paperwork was completed due my late decision to move forward the previous day. Riley picked me up from the airport, no questions asked. I enjoyed the ride over to Aristocrat Motors while he told me about the city and its history, as well as about the dealership, its management and practices. I truly enjoyed that drive and already felt justified in my decision to make a trip to buy a car. When we pulled up to the dealership, I knew to expect a large, multi-brand campus. It was even nicer than I had expected. Given that the car was a life goal as well as having a sticker price double what I have ever paid for a car before, I was hoping for that ‘above and beyond’ sales experience you always see in commercial, but also knowing that the car I wanted was still a fraction of the most expensive cars that Aristocrat offers. What happened next sealed the deal. The car was not parked in a delivery area outside, not set up in a staging room inside the building; the car was in the middle of the prettiest, most impressive showroom room that I have ever seen, under a massive domed ceiling with indirect lighting, on a stoned floor, surrounded by other Alfas and Maseratis. I was blown away that this is how they treated me. After a quick test-drive just to make sure everything was in its right place, Riley reviewed the online paperwork and pricing that I had gone over the night before. Their online purchasing system is transparent. I could see everything I needed to in one spot, including selecting any applicable manufacturer discounts that applied on my own. The number he showed me matched what I saw the day before, no surprises. Now, the last step before a very long drive home, was the finance office. I was still expecting to walk into Ben Jones’ office and get hit with offers for last-chance, just-in-case add-ons; I was wrong. Ben rattled off the same numbers I saw at home, the same numbers I reviewed with Riley. A handful of signatures in what couldn’t have been longer than 5 minutes, and I was done. My head still spins at how fast that process was, as well as respectful of me as a buyer and my time. I walked out of the office, back over to my new car. Riley thanked me, gave me a parting gift then I quite literally drove off into the sunset. I almost cried looking around myself, seated in a beautiful new Alfa Romeo, with not a single regret nor speed bump to give me second thoughts. 2023 Porsche Macan review
I absolutely love the way this car drives. You almost forget it is an SUV. Interior amenities and technology are lacking compared to comparable vehicles. There is a lack of good storage in the cabin. The options a pricy as in the Porsche tradition. You forget these things once you start driving. Since I got it, I figured a way out to make my commute an additional 5 miles each way. My purchase experience with Redwood City Porsche was a joy thanks to my sales associate Sam Pham. I always look forward to my next drive!

Driving where speed limits are not really important ,having owned 928 ,turbo,gt3,this car is perfect for everyday driving FAST! I like to compare to a nice pair of Italian shoes… Fyi 150 kmh is normal driving and not just in highways !

2018 Porsche Macan review
One of the most fun cars I have ever driven. The acceleration and handling are on another level than the X5M or X3M. It’s also practical and looks extremely sharp. Infotainment could be better - the PDK is lightening fast though. Exhaust tone is amazing. I can go on and on.

2017 Porsche Macan review
The Macan base we bought is 2017 model. Until October 2022, there is no other maintenance except the front wheel bearing replacement within the warranty period. The maintenance cost is more expensive than that of other brands, except that it is a cost-effective Porsche car.

2023 Porsche Macan review
Bought 2023 Macan T. I traded in my aging 911 for it. I did not buy another 911 because they have become too big and expensive. The Macan T is a fun car to drive if you are actively trying to drive it. The back seats are tight. The PCM is frequently confounding or crashes and won’t play any media unless you stop the car, turn it off then open the door close the door and restart it. The fit and finish is excellent. The upgraded seats are good. I can’t activate the around view monitor unless I put it into reverse. The dealer wants 300.00 to connect the my Porsche app on iPhone to the car. Porsche corporate is helpful and has normal humans that answer the phone. The PDK is fun and the exhaust has some fun subtle sounding pops. It’s like a refined hot hatch car but not really a great highway car. The base stereo is plenty good enough. Styling is top notch. Adaptive cruise works but needs supervision while using. The rear wiper appears cheap and flimsy. Should have been mounted from the top of the rear glass. The guages in the day are too dark not lit up and hard to see. The back up camera has poor resolution and has a strange perspective making it less useful. It’s a fun, clever designed expensive car with tech flaws that you have to overlook to enjoy the car. If you buy a slightly used one from a Porsche dealer you can get your warranty close to 6 years. Service is expensive probably to pay for giving you a loaner.

2021 Porsche Cayenne review
Purchased the 21 Cayenne S Coupe used with 12K miles in 2024. I now have 40K miles on it and enjoy it very much. The things I like are; the cabin comfort, 18 way seats with bolsters are great, it has all the power I need, ride quality with PASM is good, and there have been no issues. Porsche tax is high with depreciation and maintance cost a factor to be considred. Only complaint is the transmission downshift are clunky when changing between drive modes.
