After sending out quote requests to over 10 dealers, I ended up here at Tom Wood Honda. I would say this was 100% due to Jordan. He was one of the only salesmen that truly listened to my request with professionalism and promptly answered all of my questions. I live in Avon, 2 minutes from a Honda dealership, and drove over 70 miles to do business with Jordan. First, it looks great for a 2005. It's a Saab 9-2x (a rebadged Subaru WRX, if you didn't know). I've had many people tell me it looks quite snazzy. I'm so glad to get a manual shift (I say it's too teach my children before it's too late, but I miss manual). The car itself needs a little work, but it seems to have a lot of pep (the turbo). And now that winter is here, I'm glad I have AWD.

Engineering miracle in my opinion. Trouble-free, great looking, and FAST with the turbo. All of the technology you want and need. Heated seats, OnStar, power moonroof. Maintenance is not expensive from what I’ve learned through the many years of owning one.

I don't normally take the time to fill out reviews but I really felt I should since I am so happy with my 2009 Saab 9-3 2.0T I bought from Peter. I looked around on Cars.com and found that Dan Martin's Auto Depot had much better prices and much nicer used vehicles and a better selection. Thanks again Peter!!
Check engine light is always on

its a good car but when things break its expensive. The check engine light comes on for everything. The car runs well and is fast. The features are pretty good for the year. It has most all the feature the newer cars have.

My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. Best car I ever own, more reliable in cold weather than any luxury vehicle I’ve own(Benz & Audi). It’s a pity the stop making them. Oh before I forget, it’s great on gas. Drove from Tennessee to Alexandria VA on a full tank.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

I picked up my 2011 Aero XWD 9-5 used almost 2 1/2 years ago (with 73,000 miles) and I love it every time I get into it. With 120,000 miles on It's still quiet, fast, handles like its on rails, is super-comfortable and is terrific in the snow (I drive up to Vermont from Boston every weekend in the winter). Plus you virtually never see one on the roads ( I see more Maserati's than cars like mine). Parts are pretty much still available with the exception of the rear tail light assemblies (don't get rear-ended!) so no worries there. A few nits - some of the interior trim pieces look a little cheap, but for what I paid for the car, no complaints. There's a pretty big blind spot looking right past the front passenger seat and B(?) pillar. That's pretty much it for the small stuff. Some of the bigger issues included replacing a turbo solenoid (twice - second time was on warranty) and a possible turbo replacement in the near future. I also had to replace the camshaft chain, timing chain and water pump ($2,700) as I was getting code saying there was slack in the camshaft chains (diagnosed and verified) . While more than one mechanic said that there was no threat of a catastrophic failure and I could continue to drive the car as is, the check engine light kept coming on and the car would go into "limp mode", which also diminished performance, not to mention a real hassle getting it inspected. Now that it's fixed, it drives great again. The most recent issue is a warning light to "service rear axle/service all wheel drive". Mechanic says that my differential pump is shorting out ($900 replacement) but no immediate need to replace it (and no noticable driving issues). However, they also think that the control module for the rear diff is defective - a $3,000 repair. Yikes! So, with all this said, I still love my car and will continue to drive it into the ground (it still looks practically new). If you find one with really low miles and want a unique luxury car at a bargain price then I would still consider this car...even a safer bet with the FWD 2.0 liter 4cyl turbo.

This car was beautifully designed and way ahead of its time. The lane departure alert, head up display, keyless entry and ignition and more were wonderful features that still impressed when I sold the car in 2017. This level of technology did have some drawbacks as Saab was no longer around to easily fix things that went wrong like the Head Up Display eventually failing to project certain information and some of the decorative LED lighting shorting out.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. In the month that I've owned this car I've been asked 3 times what it is. This car is definitely a head turner and oh so worth the price if you find one with low enough miles. Great ride, beautiful car, powerful and quiet engine, and one can feel the Swedish pride oozing from every joint in the car.

Everything about our buying experience was amazing. We had just a left a large dealer prior to arriving at GNS and it was the most horrible experience I have encountered. When we arrived, we mentioned that we are strictly just looking and not trying to purchase anything that day. Brett made us feel very comfortable and never once pushed us to make a sale. Fortunately for us, we did purchase our vehicle that day even though it was never intended. From the moment we walked in, Brett greeted us with professionalism and grace. I live on the North Shore and decided to head to Peabody/Danvers to check out all of the dealerships along the auto mile down there. I told myself I was going to be unbiased and test drive everything. I walked away feeling like I had one, maybe two strong contenders. Jaffarian Volvo in Haverhill was my last stop, and after driving the 2018 XC60, I knew with 100% certainty that was the vehicle I wanted. Upon working on pricing, payments, my trade-in value, etc. Jaffarian didn't have the color combination I wanted... White exterior with some shade of beige inside. Gavin worked the phones for two days reaching out to all of his connections solely to find the color combination I wanted. He kept me in the loop over text, which I genuinely appreciated. I could have easily "settled" on a color I wasn't crazy about--or maybe even left to visit another dealer--but they wanted to make me a long-time customer. Once the car arrived (from Connecticut!) the delivery was seamless. I can't say enough good things about this group. Thank you publicly for your patience and commitment, guys!

My 9 3 2.0t has a sub frame under the engine that is rusting through. Yes we have salt on the roads of Maine. But this is a well maintained car with numerous car washes each winter and throughout the year. Worse case the engine can fall out and or the front suspension fail. My previous saab 900 was 15 years old in Maine and absolutely solid. Buyer beware! Inspect very closely!
