My experience of having Kerry for my sales person was 10+++. He was much more like a consultant, always working to get the vehicle I desired in the color, the features, and at a price I could afford (even when I made last minute changes -his answer ‘we will make it happen’. This is the 3rd car we have purchased from this dealership in the last 4 years. Kerry will definitely keep us coming back. He answered all my questions and always with a smile even if I had ask it 3x before. With our other vehicles, I have always used Roberts at Platte ity and will continue. I was very pleased with Robertss Chevrolet dealership. They went above and beyond in helping us get our tonneau cover, mudflaps, and bugshield installed on my Silverado 1500 truck. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs work done on their vehicles.

This is the third new Chevrolet I have bought at Roberts AutoPlaza. We had been considering the purchase of a newer truck to use both for work and for pulling our 5th wheel camper for some time, just never finding exactly what we wanted for the price we wanted to pay.
We will divide our review into 4 basic areas: WEB SITE, PURCHASE EXPERIENCE, AFTER THE PURCHASE EXPERIENCE and SUMMARY.
WEB SITE: While doing an Internet search for carry over new models we happened upon Roberts Chevrolet's web site. It was easy to navigate and had clear concise photos and information. We saw one of their Internet specials for a used vehicle that we felt fell within the specifications for what we needed and gave them a call.
PURCHASE EXPERIENCE: We were directed to Kerry and he was able to answer all of our questions on the phone and even took the time to go out to the vehicle and check on, and answer questions that we posed about the vehicle and as it turned out, they had just traded for another vehicle that matched our same specifications.
We live approximately 100 miles away and asked if we could come down the next day and take a look and a test drive. Kerry informed us that it was his day off but he would meet us there if we came down so we agreed upon a time.
We arrived and Kerry was there waiting (on his day off) and we discussed both trucks and took both on test drives, one of them on a second test drive. He was patient, did not rush us even though it was his day off.
We settled on one vehicle and sat down to discuss the price as well as the value of our trade in. It was a good conversation and we appreciated the honesty and openness of the discussions. We were trading in an older truck that was flirting with the edges of what a dealership would want, but it was a clean truck with low mileage for its age.
We could not agree upon a price and it centered mostly around what we felt the value of our truck was versus what they felt they could give. We both agreed to leave it at this point and he said he would do some additional checking to see if they could up their offer.
The next morning Kerry sent an email and he had done some research and they did indeed increase their offer....not what we wanted but close enough.
We made the purchase a few days later.
AFTER THE PURCHASE EXPERIENCE: We had purchased a used vehicle and as often happens it had an issue that we had not detected during the 2 test drives we had taken it on. Yes, we had purchased it pretty much "as is" but we gave Kerry a call to discuss it. Excellent customer service is relatively easy when things go smoothly but can go down hill pretty fast when an issue arises....not so with Roberts.
Kerry put us in touch with their service department and we returned the vehicle to them.....they even furnished us with a loaner vehicle to drive the 100 miles back home.
We worked with GM Customer Support and Roberts and the issue was corrected and the vehicle was ready the next day. Again, they took the time to research the problem and found out that GM would cover the repair and cost of the loaner vehicle under a special warranty provision. Going the extra mile.
SUMMARY: This was a quality experience from the beginning to the end. The time and patience shown by Kerry, Brett at closing and James and Jeremy in service was outstanding. The quality of the staff at Roberts impressed me and I am not easily impressed.
Prior to the sale we did not even know that Roberts Chevrolet and Buick existed but they are etched in our minds now and I have already recommended them to 2 friends.
In this day of hurry up and rush this was a pleasant experience from beginning to end.
Thanks to all the staff at Roberts. This review is a bit long but they deserve more than cursory comments.
I had a very good car buying experience. No pressure sales tactics. Fair price for my trade. Great atmosphere. Honest people to deal with. Overall a great car buying experience. I would definitely recommend to a friend.
