Our deal started off on a slippery slope and slid to a point we felt intimidated and dismissed by the sales manager. Being of customer service backgrounds we realized our sales person Joe Whitaker was only the messenger in the process. Feeling so, we left the dealership, perplexed and very hurt. Then came Piper Kirk! Amazing customer service person. We discussed our situation and extreme displeasure with the dealership. After a lengthy conversation we agreed on a price and agreed to return to the dealership with hopes of resurrecting the purchase. WE did return! Met Piper who at this point reintroduced Joe to us. We felt there was some discomfort on both parts. As the process unfolded we were able to work with Joe to review various financing and leasing arrangements. We knew of several scenarios that would be comfortable for us and without much ado we opted to finalize the deal by doing a lease. We felt much more relaxed as we worked more with Joe to finalize this deal. I would not hesitate to go to Joe Whitaker as a dealer rep for your purchase, keeping in mind he is only the 'messenger'! Bought for 4700 at 60.000 miles very clean comfy quiet drove for year. The power steering went out replaced tires and the wheel bearing at 2years! Now needs breaks and some regular maintenance. Over all very stylish and runs very strong. Great on gas. And have drove cross country. Recently changed battery. Over all the car has been very reliable now has 127.00 miles. Passing it onto my collage s daughter for collage . Hope it last at least another year. Air ice cold the sunroof has been cool feature. Highly recommend

I bought the car I had to put in a radiator water pump and thermostat. I did the work myself cost me less than 300 bucks and in the shop it would’ve cost me $3000. I purchased an aura xr v6, 2009 with 65,000 miles. it is the top one, including some wireless headphones, dual Chrome exhaust with 6 speed auto with steering shifters and great sound system. this car is a joy to ride and it is well mantained, the parts are really cheap because it shares platforms with malibu/g6/impala, shocks, brakes, body, etc. it runs AMAZINGLY, doesn't save gas but for the power is a nice trade willing to make. It looks better than bmw serie 3 of those years by far and runs faster. the only bad thing is that the car is limited to 115 mph, the competition the top is after 140mph. just that's it. excellent ride

Definitely didn't hate driving this car on a daily basis. Having the last model year ever made, there's just something about driving a car that you know you will never see a newer version of on the road that's very satisfying (since Saturn was shut down). I can't speak for other models, but my Aura was super reliable. Up to 150k miles on it now and nothing major ever went wrong with it. It's a shame that Saturn went under since some of their later models that came out seemed to be the best looking. It's just a great, unique enough looking car that sets it apart from the Hondas and Toyotas on the road, especially for the price.

People like to hate on Saturns, but I’ve owned two now and I love them. They’re very innovative designs and have always gotten great mileage. This one is a little short on headroom but it still fits five grown adults.

Bought a 99 Nissan Frontier with 56k on it. After shopping locally I seen high mileage worn out junk for my bottom dollar. Not an e-bay buyer but I thought I'll take a look. Seen truck and contacted dealer. Spoke to Mr. Frank and he gave me the assurance I needed and completed the wire. Drove down from Alabama to pick it up...For a 25 year old vehicle way above average. Really neat shop to. These people are passionate about their business. They are on a niche market for folks who don't want to be saddled with vehicle payment. They take the legwork out of finding reasonably priced used vehicles. And to offer 3 month 3,000 mile warranty? Who does that? Not your run of the mill corner lot. I absolutely love my Saturn Aura XR. I bought it brand new and have traveled many states and long distances in it. It is very comfortable on long trips with very good fuel mileage. The interior is lovely and I love the heated leather seats. I also love the fact that the rear and side lights dim at night. I have had it for 10 years and I'm told,it still looks like a new vehicle. People are really surprised when I tell them it is 10 years old. The paint has held up beautifully.

I bought a 2009 Aura XE in 2010 and so far I have put 200010 miles on it. Bought it used with 30000 miles. It is by far the best, most reliable car I've owned and it is still running strong. Nothing but routine maintenance. I've changed spark plugs once and I change the oil and filter every 3000-4000 miles. I've changed the wiper motor once and a sensor once. I've owned a few brand new cars but none were as good as this one. Garage kept so that may contribute to it lasting for 14 years. But it's been a great car.

This car was everything I was looking for at this stage of my life. It had 3 owners but no accidents and only 96,000 miles. This car is known to be reliable. The exterior and interior are nothing too fancy but it has the necessities (functioning windows, A/C, mid size sedan space, decent trunk space, etc). Saturn is no longer in business so some have had issues finding parts and repairs may be expensive. But as Saturn was part of GMC, it may not be as difficult as one might think.

2008 Aura XE V6 is by far an outstanding vehicle, 170,000 miles with no costly repairs. Dependable even after grandchildren have been in the back, body of the car has no rusting or paint chipping. Odd things have come up such as the rear brake light in back window went out. The GM dealer was unsure if they could find a replacement bulb and no one knew how to get to the bulb to replace. Keyless entry only works on three doors and the trunk after 170k miles. Plenty of power, plenty of comfort, plenty of country road miles.
