2026 Honda Civic review
This is my third Civic and I believe it is the best one yet. The 2 Liter engine is smooth and powerful. The cabin noise is low and its handling very sporty. All the new safety features, like lane watch, blind spot warnings and rear back up camera really work well. The air conditioning is stronger too. A pleasure to drive. I recommend the hatch back.

2020 Subaru WRX review
Got my 2020 a few years back been a soild car. Haven't had one major issue with any of the car drivableity of the car. But thank again my service record is flawless . But for an all wheel drive car she pulls hard when your ready to have fun but can just cruise when you need her to the drive modes are a great ad to it . But all and all would recommend anybody give it a look and go test drive one .

AMAZING SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! I start off with those three words so even if you don't read this whole review you get the point. We were traveling through Augusta GA after evacuating from hurricane Ida that had just devastated the New Orleans area. All warning lights popped up on the dash of my 2016 VW Jetta SEL and the vehicle went in to limp mode. Zero power over 35mph. On top of the destruction of hurricane Ida back home in New Orleans now I have a car that just basically gave up on me. The already pit in my stomach became even larger and only the worst case scenarios were going through my head now. A Google search leads me to the amazing team at Gerald Jones Volkswagen and the magic begins. Expecting at least a two or three day hotel stay in Augusta my service advisor Charles Davis takes me in to his service drive and assures me that everything will be alright and immediately puts one of his top techs named Mr. Chris on the case. Turns out it was as simple as a wheel speed sensor that the parts specialist Candace Betsch had sitting on the shelf in the parts department. While waiting on my vehicle to be repaired and strolling through the new car showroom I was greeted by the nicest young lady by the name of Vickie McPhee who introduced herself as the General Manager and was just as sweet as could be making sure that I was doing okay with a true concern about our safety during this hurricane evacuation. She even went as far as to introduce me to one of the owners Mr. David Jones and we had a great conversation as well. Next thing I know my service advisor Charles was standing next to me telling me that the speed sensor had already been replaced and my vehicle after being washed and run through quality control was ready to go. This my friends is one heck of a car dealership that has employed a team of people that truly care about their customers no matter where they are from or what dealership the vehicle was purchased. 2021 Nissan Altima review
The 2021 Altima is a good but not great car. I have the SL trim which comes with more interior comfort and 1 of 2 extra features. I like the sporty style and tech features but the CVT transmission sucks sometimes. If I had to buy a sedan again I would choose a BMW 3 series instead cuz I like excellence in cars. But overall for anyone who would like to have something good and basic pros, yes the Altima can make it.

2021 Hyundai SONATA review
I drove 3500 dually diesels for 25-30 years and then went to a Honda ridgeline 2018 new, love it until I drove my wife’s new car and decided I needed a car. My best friend had a Hyundai and loved it so I did hours of reviews Hyundai vs many others. All factors considered I decided to test drive a few. All things considered the Hyundai won and a low mileage 2021 caught my eye and I got it. After apps 1000 miles I am so glad I got it. Pros and cons Honda (H) push button start Hyundai (hy) key start, H remote start hy no remote start, H good ride hy better ride, H noisy hy less noisy,H electric keypad with gloves on more user friendly for me, hy parking easier, hy cornering better, H acceleration a bit stronger but hy smoother, both get the job done, I am 74 yo so I understand knobology better than the slow digital control for heat radio etc.,hy wins there- breaks equal, dashboard info hy wins, seems to love Google maps tolerates Waze, I prefer Waze. Pros and cons about not locking keys in car - can’t dash out start it w/o leaving key in ignition,physically gettin and out of the vehicle is harder, in a nutshell the things that matter more to me the hy wins so far.The salesman, Lamar was exceptional, a young family man earning a living by hustling but not rushing! Remember Lamar at Southern Auto Group in Newport News VA. Oh and the warranty was winner!

2025 Subaru Legacy review
I was planning to buy a luxury brand and test drove the BMW 3 series, the Audi A4, and the Lexus ES300. I then, due to reviews on Consumer Reports, tested the Subaru Legacy in it's top form, the Touring XT with a 260 HP engine, and I was blown away. Almost as quick as the BMW but rode smoother and quieter. Not as smooth and quiet as the Lexus, but more fun to drive. The Audi seemed cramped and the dealer was a disappointment. The Legacy interior was the most attractive in my opinion, has 4 wheel drive, a great sound system, and ended up being my favorite of the 4 cars, regardless of price. When you consider how competitive (or better) the Legacy is compared to the other 3 cars, and that I saved $13,000 on the price, it was a no brainer. It's really sad the Legacy is being discontinue, but all my comments also apply to the Outback Touring XT. The Legacy is a great car at a bargain price.

2025 Hyundai ELANTRA review
This is the first car I have bought brand new in Sept of 2024. It is an extremely nice looking car. I had bought the turbo, N-Line version because I wanted more power. For the almost 2 years I have had it now, it runs great. I have only had one issue of the ABS module going bad in it. That was an uphill battle with getting the dealership to take a stab at fixing the problem (claiming the manufacturer wouldn't allow them to make guesses on issues unless they experienced it firsthand). Thankfully months later (and from getting in contact with the manufacturer directly), the problem of the ABS kicking on briefly had been resolved. This issue was extremely sporadic so it was hard to identify. I now have 20k miles put on this car and I love it. It runs great, the turbo could engage a bit faster compared to other comparable cars I have driven, but besides that it is very nice. Interior is fantastic beside the weird passenger, center-console handle. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a new, base model car. You can get the more expensive packages if wanted, but the price of the base model would warrant enough of a purchase out of me.

I called Miracle and the service manager and the lead tech came to me. They found the MAF dirty from the air filter, cleaned it, and ran great. No charge but great service. Thanks Dion and Rheiney!! Y’all are the best. PS - The dirt was the result of me not wanting to pay extra for a new air filter at the time. I learned my lesson.

I HAD TWO (MINOR?) PROBLEMS WITH MY NISSAN SENTRA SV 2024 SO FAR; REPAIRED BY THE CAR BASIC WARRANTY (I ONLY ‘PAID’ IN TIME WAITING IN THE NISSAN SERVICE CENTER). 1. BATTERY SUDDENLY DRAINED: THE PROBLEM BEGAN AT AROUND 3,200 MILES AND IT TOOK THREE DIAGNOSTIC VISITS, THE LAST ONE FOCUSING ON THE PARASITIC DRAIN, TO FIND A PROBLEM INVOLVING THE BATTERY. BATTERY AND RELATED PARTS REPLACED SUCCESSFULLY (COVERED BY BASIC WARRANTY). 2. POWER WINDOWS MECHANISM BROKE DOWN AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. IT WAS AROUND 5,200 MILES (COVERED BY BASIC WARRANTY).

2025 Hyundai ELANTRA review

2024 Nissan Altima review
Great mileage and very nice interior. Lotsa stuff but sadly only drivers window is auto. Wheels are terrible. They look great but very hard to clean. Good trunk space and nice seats. Having problems with backup camera it looks very foggy. Had it back to dealer twice, no luck. No CD player.. big downgrade.

2021 Mercedes-Benz AMG E 53 review
I'm currently the owner of the 2021 E53 and it's my second MB. I chose this specific car because I enjoy the E-class size, functionality, and finishes. My other MB is a diesel E350 so jumping into this AMG was a big change but I don't regret it. Fast, nimble, head turner, high end customization and finishes are noteworthy. Expect a somewhat rougher ride than non-AMG but that is to be expected with the sport tuned suspension and run flat tires. The matte finish hides dirt and easily and is maintainable. I choose to hand wash the car. Expect this car to last and perform with regular scheduled maintenance. I use a trusted import mechanic for most of the maintenance and the dealer for very specific issues such as a fast blinking turn light problem I had. The transmission shifts can be rough if in sport mode, coming to a complete stop and then taking off. It seems like the trans needs a minute to get back to 1st gear. Other than that, the car is a rocket. I haven't used the track mode yet or unlocked drift mode but I will soon. I can recommend this car, knowing the quality of MB is top notch. All cars will have issues and MB isn't immune to this but you're paying for the performance, fit, and SAFETY. These cars are built like tanks with over engineering in mind. I appreciate that detail and that is why I continue to be a MB loyalist.

2023 Honda Civic review
After changing jobs and having to drive 100 miles round trip, I decided to buy the 2023 Honda Civic, I think it was the best decision of my life, not only does it save me a lot of gas but it looks spectacular on the outside and not to mention The interior is simply perfect with a lot of space, like any criticism there are negative points such as the sound system which in my opinion lacks power to be able to listen to your favorite songs at full volume, another point that I would like to highlight is that it lacks entry to the car without having to use your remote control even my 2011 grand cherokee has it, in a general perspective it seems like a good car for price, safety and appearance, it has been my first honda and I think I will continue with the tradition of continuing to buy this model for a long time

2018 Lexus ES 350 review
I bought my 2018 Lexus ES350 "previously owned" in 2021. It had 18K miles on it and was Lexus Certified. It now has 30K miles on it and has been a good car for me. I love this car and would buy it all over again. It is a smooth running car and has been reliable. It is a comfortable car with great looks. The only downside is the "unusual" user interface center console control. This model year did not have a touch screen. I have adapted to the big square button used to manipulate the display screen and it's not so bad. Other than that, no complaints so far. I hope Lexus continues to offer the ES350 in the future. It is a classy, reliable car that I intend on keeping for quite some time.
