Used 2008 smart ForTwo for sale near me

I had mine for a long time, bought used as my first car, survived getting hit on the rear end, was simple enough for me and my dad to repair the few problems that popped up (at 164,000 miles) and kept going strong for me for 7 years until another accident got her totaled. I was perfectly safe from the accident, and the years I was driving it, it preformed fantastically. I see a lot of people complain about how it drives, and I will admit at first it was weird, but it really just takes you learning it. The shifts aren't random they're at specific speeds, and frankly if the shifting creates a problem you're either driving poorly or you have a mechanical problem. As long as you slowly go on the gas instead of suddenly slamming the pedal down the shifting is graceful. The issue I see some people mention about it feeling bad to control at highway speeds, I have not encountered. I drove 70mph highways 5+ times a week for years and never had a problem, did 85mph highways sometimes and still no problems. It has way enough room, I regularly had a 6'4" guy in the passenger and he was fine, I've had an almost 7 foot guy in the passenger and he admitted he was more comfortable in the Smart than any SUVs or Sedans he had been in. I'm a pretty small person so of course it's perfect for me, the turn radius and being able to park in essentially any space I want is amazing, the back actually has a lot of room and if you don't have a passenger you can extend it even more- I helped someone move with my Smart and while we didn't try furniture since we had a truck for that, it took 2 extra large boxes, a slew of plants, like 6 smaller boxes to fill gaps, 4 bags of vacuum packed linens, plus a decent amount of loose articles and knickknacks settled around, and it technically could have still held more. Absolutely fantastic car.

I purchase a cheap Patriot with very low miles.And very clean with no new england rust. I had one issue after Purchasing it. I returned the vehicle and they repaired it properly and promptly. They went above and beyond to be sure that the vehicle was safe for my family. I will buy from them again in the future. I do have a pretty good mechanical knowledge So I know what to look for typically. But These guys at 777 auto went through the whole jeep, Spark, plugs coil packs brakes, I am happy with my purchase. I have owned this car 2008 smart for 3 years and it work great some minor issues like engine light that was just gas cap and heater whlch i removed and cleaned. i live where it is cold and it will start in really cold weather most of the time. Got good tires and winter driving is good. With more attention this car would sell better in canada and states. would not part with it .

I am small; it is small and we meld well. I have tried to make myself buy another car but I have been with this one for 7 years and as it turns out, it will with me until it gives up. Quite simply, I thoroughly enjoy having it. Still fresh and neat looking. Have great mechanic whom I don't require, often.

Absolutely perfect city car! Park anywhere, squeeze into even the smallest of lanes. And when inside, you might as well be driving a full sized car. In terms of safety, the visibility in this car is outstanding. No blind spots. Last item, the switch from closed to Moon roof to convertible is easy and you can do it on the fly. Fun ride.

It was my husband's toy but I was afraid to drive it for a long tine. Then when I was driving it on 8/15/2019 I was T-bone by a guy who ran a red light. I am bruised ansmd sore, but the car literally saved my life. The metal bars in the door, and the air bag on my driver's side protected me. I would not have faired as well as I have if I had been in our other vehicle. The car is totaled- but I am alive. Smartcars are more safe than other vehicles. We will buy another one!
