Difficult to separate the good and bad. In the end I bought the car. I think he is a generally honest guy who is trying to be fair. I don't think he'd purposely hide problems or patch up a failed car. That is of highest importance. My problem is there were a lot of issues with the car not disclosed in the listing. Check your car carefully! To his credit he disclosed the failing clear coat by sending me an excellent video before I traveled (a long way) to the dealership. Maybe inadvertently he disclosed problems with the headliner in the video. When I got there the battery was dead so he explained there was a parasitic load (still not resolved) that kills the battery in a couple days and he pointed out it had the wrong battery (which he replaced when we negotiated price). A tire was nearly flat and he noted it had a leak. If he were dishonest surely the tire would have been full and the battery charged when I showed up and he wouldn't have pointed out the wrong size battery (didn't fit tray). What I found includes: Two tires were good and two have almost no tread. The key fob remote doesn't work and when I bought and installed a new battery it still didn't. Since buying it I've gotten two estimates for fob replacement of $700 and $410. Hopefully I'll find one a little lower. I've also found the wiper blades need replaced, interior lights by the rear-view mirror don't work, and a film on the rear window (rear defroster I believe) is all bubbled and also not clear where unbubbled. Other than snow on the car when I test drove, I'm not sure how I missed this last one. Finally, there is an undisclosed admin fee of $500. He said nobody in NC discloses this on web listings. Maybe but it doesn't make it right.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! Do NOT BUY FROM HERE!! Save your money & go else where!! You’re better off buying off of Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace!! Serg sold me a car & promised to fix a problem (which I have in his writing along with HIS signature) & when it came down to being a man of his word he did not deliver!! He gave me the run around for over a month, when I FINALLY stopped getting ignored & he decided to follow through, while my car got worked on he gave me this moldy loaner car to drive that had a check engine light amongst so many other problems & sent me on my way! He knowingly gave me a piece of crap car!!! After a full week of having my PAID FOR car in his possession the job has NOT been completed!! 2 weeks for a door to be fixed that should’ve been fixed over a MONTH ago! & his attitude & response the WHOLE time was “these things happen 🤷🏻♂️”. & he said he couldn’t give me a loaner vehicle that I could comfortably drive without worry of breaking down. & KEPT trying to put me in cars that he KNEW had problems!! & when I asked for a car with NO check engine light or any problems he shrugged me off & told me to just drive the car second piece of crap car he put me in. Trying to be cheap he did nothing but create a bigger problem than needed. This isn’t someone you want to spend your hard earned money with. This is a man who doesn’t give a xxxx about his customers!

I had a great experience dealing with the salespeople and staff at Atlantic Auto Sales in Garner, NC. I worked specifically with a woman named Mary who was professional and expedient in taking care of all the required paperwork. The other two gentlemen in the office were also very helpful in getting the vehicle ready for my taking delivery of it. Bought second hand, and would do it again if I could find! Very very few problems, I've owned for 6 years and I just hit 100k miles. Replacing things per manual and hope it runs as strong as before!

Perfect Dave Ramsey car!!!!
Bought 2008 with 94k miles on it and have owned it for 2 years (115k on it now). Great value car, great Dave Ramsey car(read the Total Money Makeover), great car value to avoid debt(buy one off a “grandma” (=low miles and not driven hard(it only went to church and the grocery store🤣😂)). I will drive it to 200k or more and my investment accounts will keep on growing!
