Glad I Landed at Tom Wood Subaru

I knew I would need a new-to-me car, and spent 2+ months researching to decide what to buy. Once I decided that a Subaru Forester checked all the boxes, I watched numerous sites on-line to find a 2014-2016 Forester with low mileage. When I thought I had found my car, I arranged for a test drive with Greg Begley of Tom Wood Subaru. I am so glad I landed there! As I walked in the door, another of Greg???s customers was leaving to test drive his next Subaru that he planned to buy from Greg, and he said I would be very happy with the personal attention and would love my car. Well, I did love the car and Greg was soft-spoken and not pushy. He explained what makes a Subaru a wise choice, answered my questions, and proactively filled out paperwork while I made my decision to purchase the car. When I explained that I needed to leave by 1:30 to pick up a grandchild at preschool, then two more at an elementary school in Carmel, he said that he could get most everything wrapped up by then. Because I just retired and my job had required lots of travel, there was a lot to transfer to my new vehicle, and a Subaru team member/Mom who worked at the front desk was the one who figured out how to uninstall a child safety seat so I could install it in my Forester. After signing paperwork, I was out the door at 1:25 in plenty of time to do my pick-ups. Greg arranged for me to come back after my ???Grandma time??? so he could teach me how to operate everything. Buying my Subaru was a very positive experience and I look forward to seeing Greg and team members in the Service Department when I come in for my first two free oil changes and other service.
