My mom and I first fell in love with the Outback back in September 2025, when we rented one for a 1,000-mile road trip and my son?s boot camp graduation. It was the first car that both of us truly felt comfortable riding in for long distances. By December, I traded in my beloved sports car for my own Outback??Olive??and I absolutely loved it. Fast forward to last week: I went in for a routine oil change and happened to receive a ?trade-up? email. Out of curiosity (and maybe a little daydreaming about hybrids), I started browsing. I was shocked to see how affordable the newer EV models were?especially the Uncharted. When I arrived for my appointment, I decided to explore my options, and I?m so glad I did. Shelby, the trade-up specialist, was incredibly patient and answered all of my (many!) questions without any pressure. She helped me land an amazing deal?zero down, zero interest?and my monthly payments are basically what I was already spending on gas. The financing process was smooth, efficient, and refreshingly low-pressure. A big thank you to Sean for making that part so easy! To top it off, Shelby brought out a giant bow for a photo, and Don, the service manager, came out to personally thank me for my purchase. That kind of attention to detail and customer care really stood out. What impressed me even more was the follow-up. Both Shelby and Don have checked in over the past week to make sure all my questions were answered and that I?m loving my new vehicle. AutoNation Subaru is Carlsbad was exception in the buying experience of a pre-owned CRV. I was contacted by Ricky shortly after my Internet inquiry and the entire buying experience was pleasant and easy, finance manager Sean and Sales Manager Jaime were informative and throughout while also friendly and easy to work with. I can?t say enough good about this dealership. Thank you! Mind you I had just come from the most abhorrent experience at an actual Honda dealership and had to have the deal unwound. It was shocking that a manufacturer dealer (Honda) who sells their own cars could be so shady, then you have a Subaru dealer selling a pre-owned Honda with the professionalism and knowledge the other dealer lacked. Thank you Subaru of Carlsbad!
2026 Subaru Forester review
I never drove a Subaru before and I am so happy with this car. It handles well and is great on gas!! It has many safety features! I wanted an SUV that had all wheel drive that you can use over 25 miles per hour in snowy conditions. This car has that! Really happy with my purchase!

2026 Subaru Forester review
My 2nd Subaru, quiet and roomy. I am 6'2" and this is the first car with the leg room and interior height where I do not feel cramped. Just the perfect size vehicle for my wife and I for getting around. Smooth ride and excellent handling. Visibility from the drivers seat is outstanding, The surround vision on our Touring model is very helpful for getting into tight parking and judging distances to objects in front or behind us. The ability to switch the review mirror from Mirror to Camera Mode for viewing objects beneath the hatchback window. The remote start with climate set has spoiled us for getting into a cold car in the winter or unbearably hot in summer. The information main screen was intimidating at first, but after a month we are quite comfortable with it. The menus at first seemed overwhelming but we quickly learned that once they are setup to our needs, they do not have to be accessed again, especially with the facial recognition making the comfort settings when either one of us sit in the drivers seat. My biggest complaint so far, is that if you turn off the engine start/stop function , you are reminded every time you start the car that it is indeed off and to confirm by pressing the confirm button on the screen. Very annoying. other than that we are very happy with the 2026 Forester Touring.

In 2008, my folks bought a new Chrysler Pacifica Limited. The car sales man was great. He knew all about the car and showed us everything about it. The dealership it's self is beautiful and super clean. They also have AWESOME cars inside in which you can sit and mess around in. The overall rating is a 4 BECAUSE, it is so hard to get a hold of these guys to take the car in. We've called 4 or 5 times to only leave messages that have never been responded to, so we are planning on just going there whether they want us to or not!
