This is a great vehicle and we're so glad that we purchased one. We've had a couple of minor things go wrong that should not have such as the drivers side visor starting to squeak loudly. All said we are very happy with this car. On the down side there is now standard technology out there that is not available. Automatic wipers are missing and items like remote start and subaru's safety and security package are extra when Honda includes them both free. But my biggest issue is not the car it's that there is no convenient dealersl or service anywhere near me. The nearest service is 45 minutes away. The next car will have to be available locally.
Tony was the agent that helped us. He was efficient and helpful. He listened to us, he was very well mannered. We are very satisfied.

Have owned 2 Volvos and the company lost it's spark. Subaru has that spot in my heart now. From the 5 star crash rating (except front passenger seat is 4 star) to great reliability records and good tech stuff I am thrilled.
Excellent vision in all directions from the Forester. We like the no non-sense styling of the Touring 2.5i. Easy to get into and out of which matters if getting a few years on you. Very good gas mileage and handling with excellent performance. The AWD is certainly one of many key selling points. Fit and finish is excellent with very good reliability so far. We think it is a excellent SUV and would definitely purchase another Subaru SUV if needed.
Dream car.love it .plenty of space, comfortable, powerful vehicle as well. I see my self recommending the same vehicle to other ppeople as well.why not..?
I've been looking for a new truck for a few months. I started the search with Nick Nedeau back in Nov and left the lot with my dream truck yesterday (1/11). Nick was extremely informative, very knowledgeable and his no pressure mentality led me to the purchase of my new truck. He and his team took such great care of me that I can without hesitation recommend him if you or a friend are looking to make your next auto purchase. We've all been there: there are times you feel like you've been "sold" a car and other times like you've "purchased" your car and I have to say, if you're looking to make a purchase for you or your family Nick and Berlin City is the place to go!

Nick Nadeau was tremendous. He was more than helpful and went out of his way to accommodate my family and I. He is the reason I bought from Berlin City.

My 1st Forester is a 2009 turbocharged model which is still going strong with 110,000 miles. The newer Foresters offer safety and convenience features mine doesn't have so I decided to upgrade. The 2019 Forester no longer offers the turbocharged version so I opted for a certified pre-owned 2018 XT Touring which has a turbocharger. I love the vehicle but because the turbo is no longer available, the used turbo versions have become quite pricey. I am keeping the old one for hauling dogs, lawn equipment and towing my utility trailer. The new one will be just for people for now.
The vehicle is just the right size. I am 6'4" and would appreciate a little more leg room and thigh support but the Forester is as comfortable as any other small SUV I checked. There is plenty of headroom. The turbo does require premium fuel and has a lower mileage rating. With the turbo and sports tuned suspension, it is a fun vehicle to drive and worth the money to me. In over 10 years, the older one left me stranded only once when a drive belt broke after 100,000 miles. Based on reviews, I expect the same reliability from the newer one.
Would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a used vehicle! We were there to inquire about a vehicle we stopped to look at the night before while they were closed and within a few hours we had bought it and were on the road. I would much rather give our money to a small dealership that is not going to try to sell you something you cannot afford & add all kinds of extra costs.

This model of subi has been great, outside of the factory warranty 2.5L engine replacement. Quick and responsive with the 5 speed. The automatic leaves a bit to be desired. Almost 9 inches of ground clearance is Jeep territory and the AWD system inspires confidence in rain, snow and mud.
True story. My son comes home from UMaine for winter break and needs minor repair work done on his Saab 9-3. We take it to a local mechanic in Windham and drop it off on a Tuesday night. I get a call Thursday that the mechanic can't get the car started. He states he thinks he can get the key fixed (by taking it apart) and/or get a couple of other fobs that can be programmed for the Saab. Bottom line, 2 weeks later and he has not been able to get any key to work.(????) It's time to take it to a Saab dealership; Portland Volvo. The technicians there let Bryan Woodworth in the Service Department know that of the 2 keys that were dropped off with the Saab, neither one belonged to the car and the key (and ignition box) will need to be replaced. This is not a cheap option and I am furious with 1st mechanic's ineptness/delays. Dave Cleveland (Service Manager at Portland Volvo), called me back and was empathetic to my situation. Even though we are a first time customer, Dave offered a deal on the new keys and labor already rendered, and handled a recall item on the Saab within 48 hours. Great Customer service by Bryan Woodworth and Dave Cleveland at Portland Volvo! I would highly recommend their services in the future, whether you are a long time customer or a first timer like us! Thank you gentlemen!

I like this vehicle except for the engine shutting off when stopped. it does have an override switch, but if I forget to set it the engine will automatically shut off. that's the only thing I don't like about this car.
I recently traded my 2009 Honda Civic, which I had purchased at Berlin, for a 2016 HR-V. My initial experience with my salesman, Steve, was so good, I went back to him, and was not disappointed. He is easy to deal with, answered my many questions, and has continued to be available even after the sale. I have purchased many cars in my life, and this was about as painless as the process can be. I love my new crossover!

I like all the safety features. That's what sold me on the car. And it is excellent for the height challenged people. Very comfortable and easy infotainment center.
