2022 Subaru Outback review
I fell in love with the Wilderness Trim from the very first time i saw it. I had a 2017 Outback Limited and loved it too. Had a co-worker who really needed a reliable, well taken care of SUV. I told her I will sell it to her. With the money i got Wilderness. Best decision ever. Has that little extra ground clearance and details that makes this car so unique. Yes the screen is large and has a lot on it, but after a while got used to it. If the Outback was my dream car, This Wilderness is beyond my dreams! The Turbo is great, gives that extra +80HP compared to my Outback and it's noticeable specially when using paddle shifters. Hope i can keep this one for many many years.

Audi Beaverton review
What a great experience we had buying our new Audi Allroad at Audi Beaverton – never did we feel pressured in making a decision on which model and trim to buy, or rushed in agreeing to the final deal. Shane Randall, his Sales Manager, Brad Russell, and the whole crew at Audi Beaverton guided us through the deal and went above and beyond in finding the right fit for us. Thank you for your patience and assistance, Shane!
2022 Subaru Outback review
Slower than molasses in January if you don't get the turbo. But a reliable wagon that's absolutely awesome for parents. Plus, you can make up for the lack of speed by just running over stuff thanks to the ground clearance.

PDX Motors review
Working with PDX Motors was great from the start. Great and fast communication! Lots of Subaru options we were able to look at, inspect ourselves without the pushy salesman approach. My daughter is happy with her spacious subaru forester she picked out. Overall great atmosphere, great snacks, and great customer service. Thank you PDX Motors, we will come back soon for our next used car!
2018 Subaru Outback review
I bought my outback new in March 2018. After putting about 85,000 miles on it the only thing I had ever replaced for windshield tires and battery. The battery seems to go out most often every 30,000 miles or two years at about 85,000 miles we had an oil pan leak that was small but we had it repaired since it was covered under extended warranty. I’ve also had water leak into the drivers door, electronics and shorted out my driver‘s window. The Travers side seat bolster of leather, has also ripped and torn quite badly. However, I have not done a very good job at keeping it up overall it’s been a very good vehicle. Written April 5th 2026.

I purchased my Outback Premium in 2022 new. Liked the color. silver, and didn't want moonroof or a lot of extras that could break. Bad battery experience has really disappointed our experience although the cars performance and comfort has not.

Very helpful and friendly staff Kimberly was exceedingly helpful The process was simply and straight forward I was able to sell my car for a fair price
2021 Subaru Outback review
So I bought a ‘21 Outback premium with 30k miles and have already put 6K more on it. Here is my honest review: if you want a fast car don’t get the 2.5 non turbo- that being said it is adequate for myself and get great gas mileage. The interior is good- I have the spec with cloth heated seats and they are comfortable and the cabin feels nice- has some cheap parts but I knew what I was buying. The infotainment is frustrating at times- auto start stop is a pain in the butt- but the infotainment itself isn’t bad with good sound and good responsiveness. The apple CarPlay will lag and be finicky at times but nothing terrible. As for drive quality it is a smooth ride and I don’t have any real complaints yet. Like I had mentioned if you want a car that is going to be fast- this engine and transmission will not do that for you. Overall I am happy so far with my purchase and feel as though I made a sensible decision when choosing this over some of its competition (I was looking at the VW Tiguan and and Mazda cx5)

Beaverton Car CompanyReviews
Beaverton Car Company review
My wife and I bought a late-model used Hyundai Sonata over the MLK holiday weekend. We had been monitoring Cars.com for a couple of weeks and found one we liked here at Beaverton Car Company. We called ahead as we live about 200 miles away and didn't want to make the drive without checking availability. We spoke with Blake Woodard, and Blake confirmed he'd have the car ready for us to look over when we arrived the next day. We made the trip down on the Sunday of MLK holiday weekend. The car was out front, clean and ready to look over. After checking our driver licenses and insurance, we took a test drive, did some driving in-town and on country roads. We decided to buy, did a little bargaining and saved some money from what was already a reasonable price. We filled the tank and drove the car home that day. Overall a positive experience with Blake and the rest of the dealership.
2023 Subaru Outback review
I traded in my 2015 Outback and am now one month into driving my 2023 vehicle which I quite like. But I have a serious complaint about the new headlight system Subaru is using. I drive many unlit country roads that have quite a few short but somewhat steep hills. When heading on a flat the low beam lights do an okay, not great but okay, job of illuminating the road in front (the2015 was better). But when heading downhill, the line of decmarcation between the lit and unlit field of vision area often does not seem to extend far enough forward to allow me to see even 25 yards ahead. When traveling at 35 or 40 mph, I find this dangerous and unnerving. While driving 35 mph downhill on a 40 or 50 yard stretch of the road on 2/18/23 I was unable to see far enough forward and therefore slow down in time before hitting a cat. Additionally, the display screen requires me to take my eyes off the road far too often to see what control I might be touching, be that a temperature control, a radio station, or something else. Those things not withstanding I like the car.

2021 Subaru Outback review
My family has owned Subarus for a very long time, starting in the late 90's with my parents, an 89 Legacy L wagon, then a 2005 Outback XT, continuing with my wife and I. Our last Subaru, a 2002 Legacy GT wagon (a pretty rare car here in the US, even the Subaru-crazy Portland-metro area) was stolen during Covid. We went Subaru-less until June 8 2026, when we picked up the 45000 mile 2021 Outback XT Limited. The Limited trim is one rung below the top-trim Touring XT and above the Onxy XT. For the curious, XT= the turbo engine version, which I HIGHLY recommend if you actually enjoy driving your car like I do (and other perks). Why did we choose the Limited XT over a truck or another SUV/crossover? 1) The styling. Love it or hate it, wagons are just cool. They've grown on me. It's just different from everything else on the road. 2) I like the carlike ride, driving dynamics, comfort, but the SUV-like interior space, ground clearance and driving position (OB's have 8.7 inches of ground clearance). The Limited trim is the best one in my opinion because you get upgraded interior sound-deadening (thicker window glass, more insulation), upgraded stereo (which sounds awesome), and memory for the driver seat (2 presets). Here's what I like: It's a Subaru without the Subaru quirks from prior generations. It's quiet inside. Just as quiet or more than our Volvo XC90 V8. Even the 2019 3.6R Touring we test drove was noisier inside. The ride is very smooth. Seats are very comfortable for long-hauls. Vancouver, WA to Bend, OR and no aches or pains or cramps. Handling is also good, better than a SUV. This isn't nimble like a Miata or Honda Civic, but for a 3900 lb car it's great. The powertrain. I love the 2.4 turbo engine. It's smooth, quiet, and makes all its torque by 2000 RPM. The non-turbo Outback gets along okay without the 2.5 non-turbo, but the XT makes a huge difference when you want it. It's much faster than the 3.6R it replaced and gets better fuel economy. Personally, unless you want the extra fuel economy, there's no reason not to get the XT. Fuel economy? Highway cruising 70-75 mph is 28 mpg. Pulling grades or a load of gear drops it to 27 mpg. Heavy-footed driving in town and the mileage is rough at times: I saw a low 17.5 once, but it's usually 22 to 23 in town if I keep my foot out of it (that's hard). Here's what I'm not sold on after over a month of ownership. The CVT: If you're coming from only driving conventional automatics, there's a learning curve on how to drive it smoothly. Smooth is the keyword. let the transmission do the work. You can paddle shift it, but it's better to leave it in D. The power delivery could be better. Again, it's a CVT. Off the line foot to the floor and there's a waiting period before it goes. However, like 30 to 80 mph is wild! Like 3 seconds, and onramps are fun! Again, fuel economy isn't fantastic, real-world mixed driving is 22-23 mpg. The infotainment system: Starlink will require getting used to. None of our cars have ever had one, so it's not a big deal for me, but someone used to one may have moments of frustration with the lag and slow response to inputs. Just be patient and it gets bearable over time. Android Auto is USB tether-only along with CarPlay. It works fine, but again...laggy. The display washes out some in sunlight, so you may have to turn the dimmer up. I had to make a habit of turning off auto stop start as soon as I start the engine now. I despise auto stop-start! Whose idea was that anyway? So, should you get a Gen 6 Outback. Yes. The Gen 7's are what I consider blasphemy for Subie folks like me...they now look like everything else on the road, but that's here nor there. I really like the XT and it will be our car for a good while.

PDX Motors review
Was searching for a new (to me) Subaru, and found several great options at PDX Motors. Test drove several of them not knowing exactly what fit me best. Matthew was very patient and helpful throughout the entire process. After finding the Crosstrek that I liked best, and test driving, I noticed a weird clunk in the rear. Matthew looked into it immediately after the test drive, and found a loose tire change wrench bouncing around in the trunk. Brought no pressure whatsoever, and I felt confident in the time I needed to make an informed decision. Highly recommend their customer service if you're in the search for a vehicle!
2020 Subaru Outback review
I lucked into finding a returned leased 2020 Outback in July of 2022. Beautiful white exterior, drives like my '13 Legacy (handed down to my daughter, thus the new car for me!). Apparently Outbacks and Legacies have the same body frame, and driving this new Outback is a dream! This is my 4th Subaru and I absolutely, without a qualm, recommend them for handling, snow, comfort, style, cargo capability. After reading the reviews here, I can agree with two issues: battery and display screen. I also had a dead battery with no apparent reason. The dealership went over the car looking for a "battery draw," but found nothing wrong. They replaced it (under warrantee), and THE NEXT DAY the new battery was also dead. The explanation was this new battery had come from a warehouse and should have been charged before installation. No charge to me and no problems since, but definitely an inconvenience. The second drawback I would mention is the display screen. Way overwhelming, hard to find the functions to change driver assist et. al., and too difficult to drive while trying to change your heat, seat temp -- basic controls that should not require the driver to look down so much and for so long. No issues with operation of the screen. Finally, and maybe this was a one-off experience, I had to have the hood repainted because a leaf had left a weird stain right in the center of the hood. I cannot claim the stain was there when I got the car, but we tried every safe method (including wet sanding) to remove it and it was under the finish (according to the body shop). I'd venture to guess it came off the assembly line like that and it was fairly faint until you noticed it. Finally, I am strongly loyal to the dealership, as they have done right by me in many situations. They are fair, give me clear explanations and warn me about upcoming repairs, considerate, and have on more than one occasion checked a warrantee on my behalf to get me a better price.

I’ve purchased many cars over the years - Suren is by far the easiest and most knowledgeable person to work with. His passion is the car industry and it shows - he doesn’t mess around with cars that have any red flags or cut corners when it comes to selling high quality, solid cars at a good price. I felt he had my best interests in mind, wasn’t pushy or aggressive whatsoever. Highly recommend working with Suren at BCR Automotive to buy your next vehicle!
2010 Subaru Outback review
THIS CAR SAVED MY BRAIN! Was recently T-Boned and a car with lesser safety design would have left me brain injured. The 2010 CVT is the best model year made due to beefier components. Mine rarely used oil, though some will. Almost always broke EPA mileage estimates in highway. Surprisingly capable off road. Superb in snow/rain. Saved Brain and nothing else matters!!!

2025 Subaru Outback review
I have owned Subaru wagons both used and new from 1984 until present. I own a 2012 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5 which I bought new. It has 220,000 miles. Other than routine maintenance and a couple rear wheel bearings, it is doing great! I also own a 2025 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5, I currently have 24,000 miles in it. Only real nuisances are the center tablet and no buttons or dials for hvac. It’s frankly a safety issue to play with a screen just to change hvac settings-dumb. 2026 they got smarter but changed the style for the worse. Additionally, the OEM tires are starting to sing at 24,000 miles. The first 24k the car was whisper quiet. Now I have to blast the radio to drown out the hum. Subaru needs to quit playing with cheap OEM tires. Throw a set of Michelins on there to start… The seats are comfortable-a great improvement over the seat design used from 2015-2019. I got rid of a new 2017 Outback after 95,000 miles because the seating was like sitting on slate. A complaint I have is the overuse of “safety nannies” which are too sensitive and could cause an accident rather than prevent one. Case in point, car can slam on the brakes for you if it thinks you are doing something abnormal that you probably do all the time. I dislike the 8 speed trans. My 6 speed is better on the 2012. 8 speeds are too many. No issues shifting or anything, CVT “shifts” fine. I still get 30 mpg Hwy on the 2012 and 32-34 on the 2025 Hwy. Subarus are wonderful vehicles but they better watch out so they don’t get too much more expensive or start following the crowd too much. Cars in general are too high priced…

Subaru of Portland review
We purchased a 2021 CPO Ascent on Sunday July 27th. The next day, the A/C failed. We advised the dealer, and they picked it up Tuesday. Needless to say, we were unhappy. It took a few days to diagnose and get fixed. We picked it up yesterday, and all is good. The dealer obtained a wholesale cost 5-year bumper to bumper 105k miles warranty at a discount we are paying off without interest over 10 months. It is the warranty they use regularly. Started out bad, but ended okay.
2022 Subaru Outback review
Got a '22 Touring XT. I knew the base engine was pathetic so I wanted the turbo. Gladly sacrifice some MPG for way more power. They shouldn't even offer the base engine on this car. Anyway, after 44k miles it's running like a champ. Absolutely no issues with the electronics (a few minor glitches here and there but nothing to take to the dealer for), CVT is fine, engine is fine, the AWD is second to none! Plowed right through a 15" blizzard through Kansas City like it was nothing. My biggest gripe are the squeaks and rattles. Highly annoying. My '17 Chevy Colorado with 64k miles is tighter and quieter. Cargo space is top notch, I have a bad back so getting in and out of a taller vehicle is much easier. But there is just too much tech and driver assistance, Subaru needs to tone it down a little. I still prefer to actually DRIVE my car, not have the car drive me. Overall I'm still happy with it.

2023 Subaru Outback review
2023 Subaru Outback Limited XT. A great station wagon (it’s not really a SUV). Comfortable leather seats, smooth ride and extremely quick with the turbo. If you don’t need seating for eight, you have no need for the Ascent. Same engine and cargo capacity and ground clearance, lower to the ground, faster, better handling and several thousand dollars cheaper. Standard all wheel drive. Full safety suite. 11.6” infotainment system is really closer to 8” as the climate control takes the additional 3.6”. The Harmon Kardon sound system will blow your doors off. Good in car navigation. Wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Hands free tailgate. 0-60 in 5.8 on regular gas. Standard roof rails. Even has heated outboard rear seats. If you’re considering a midsize or smaller SUV you owe it to yourself to drive this first.

2018 Subaru Outback review
I have the 2018 Outback 3.6R Limited, at 110,000 miles I replaced all struts and wheel bearing, the ride still isn’t the best but air pressure in tires kept at 39 psi has improved the ride significantly. I had a 2021 with the 4 cylinder engine and the reason I got rid of it was the cvt is fragile and doesn’t handle much weight or towing plus the screen and push buttons for everything, very distracting when driving and looking for the right soft touch function. I have had much better results going backwards to the 2018 6 cylinder engine and heavy duty cvt. It uses a 5W30 engine oil which is a million times better than 0W20 which honestly is really thin and breaks down quickly.

Rickie's Auto LLCReviews
Rickie's Auto LLC review
recently had the opportunity to work with Rickie’s Auto LLC, and I can honestly say that the entire experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Buying a vehicle can sometimes be stressful and overwhelming, especially with so many dealerships focusing solely on making a quick sale. Rickie’s Auto LLC stands out because they truly prioritize customer service, transparency, and long-term relationships with their customers. From the moment I first reached out, their team was professional, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to answer every question I had without rushing me or pressuring me into making a decision. It was clear that they genuinely cared about helping me find the right vehicle that fit my needs, budget, and lifestyle rather than simply trying to sell me whatever was on the lot. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process, keeping me informed and making sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. One thing that immediately stood out to me was their honesty and transparency. They provided detailed information about the vehicle, including its history, condition, maintenance, and overall performance. They were upfront about everything and encouraged me to do my own research, inspections, and due diligence. That level of openness built a tremendous amount of trust and gave me confidence in my purchase. It’s refreshing to work with a dealership that values integrity and stands behind what they sell. The quality of their inventory is also extremely impressive. It’s clear that Rickie’s Auto LLC takes pride in carefully selecting their vehicles. The cars and trucks on their lot are well-maintained, clean, and competitively priced compared to the market. They clearly focus on offering vehicles that provide real value rather than just moving units. You can tell they put effort into making sure their inventory meets high standards before offering it to customers. Another thing I appreciated was how accommodating and flexible they were throughout the buying process. They took the time to explain financing options, warranty opportunities, and protection plans without being pushy or overwhelming. They made sure I understood all available options so I could make the best decision for my situation. Their willingness to work with customers and provide solutions really sets them apart from many other dealerships. Customer service is clearly a top priority at Rickie’s Auto LLC. The entire team was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making the experience smooth and enjoyable. Even after the sale, they remained available for questions and support, which shows they truly stand behind their customers and their reputation. That level of after-sale care is rare and speaks volumes about their business values. What impressed me the most is that Rickie’s Auto LLC operates with a strong sense of community and reputation. They are a locally owned business that clearly takes pride in serving their customers and building lasting relationships. It’s obvious they rely on trust, word-of-mouth referrals, and repeat customers, which says a lot about the quality of service they provide. Overall, I highly recommend Rickie’s Auto LLC to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle and a dealership that operates with honesty, professionalism, and genuine customer care. Whether you are buying your first vehicle or adding another to your collection, you can feel confident working with them. My experience was outstanding, and I would not hesitate to purchase from them again or recommend them to friends and family. Rickie’s Auto LLC has truly set a high standard for what a car-buying experience should be, and I am extremely grateful for their help, professionalism, and dedication to customer satisfaction.
2015 Subaru Outback review
I bought used in 2023 a 2015 premium with 214k miles. I drove it 6k miles and only replaced the CV axle, this isn't impressive sounding but it was going through constant , aggressive off reading due to the rough road conditions I had to use because I live in the rocky mountains. I got in a rollover a 60 mph and I had no injuries, airbags kept me safe. Fuel economy was dismal with 21 in the city and 24 in the highway, safety and reliability are top tier, power was surprisingly adequate, the Bluetooth was appreciated and all the safety tech and other tech was very useable and helpful and accurate. Love the car would buy it again if I had the chance

2021 Subaru Outback review
I like mostly everything about my2021 Outback Limited XT. I hate the navigation system or the infotainment system as it is called. I have had it to the dealership 4 times in 3 years because the system is not compatible with my iPhone. Taking it in next week for a new radio. The navigation system stops working just when you need it most. Sometimes it flashes "Stay Alert" when you are looking straight ahead but if you turn the car off and restart, it goes away. Too bad Subaru doesn't make their own radio systems.

Newberg Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram review
My partner and I visited 4 other dealerships before stopping at Newberg CDJR. Mike met us as we parked. Warm greeting, no pressure. He showed us a couple of 2025 Ram 2500 trucks. Took us for a test drive, on my route not his. Gave me a great deal on my trade in and a very fair price. Whole time was very relaxed, never any pressure. Mike was a great sales person, Jeff did the paperwork and was also very laid back. Ive already recommended this dealership, Mike and Jeff to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. They are the “GOAT!”
2020 Subaru Outback review
I have a 2020 Subaru Outback Touring 2.4L turbo model, the fully-loaded, most expensive model. It replaced a 2011 standard Outback with a 2.5L engine and manual transmission. My only criticism is poor gas mileage, about 23-24 mpg versus the 2011's 28.2 average over more than 100K miles. I like the power (260 HP) but might have forgone the turbo had I anticipated the unimpressive mileage. My 2001 Audi Q5, with a 260 HP 2.0L turbo engine, averages 28+ mpg, but cost $10K more than my Subaru. I rationalize by recognizing that $10K will buy a lot of gasoline.

2025 Subaru Outback review
I have had big trucks and SUV I now have a 2025 Outback wilderness, I had to drive this outback a while to get use to it, it was hard for me to get comfortable in this outback because it sat so low, for 60 years I had a vehicle sat up high and little more room in the front seat area,I got use to it, especially at the gas station with mpg I am getting , I am getting really right around 24 to 25 Mpg I am happy. Now that I have driven this outback for about 2 months I am happy, and in the Outback Wilderness it has the best AWD on the market not 4 wheel drive, never never let anybody tell you it is the same as 4 wheel drive If they do leave the dealership on the spot. I am happy I would buy again as long the price is 40k Or less if the price crosses the 45 k I would have gotten a Toyota 4 runner, not the 2025 models but the 2024 or 2023, remember these models are around 17 mpg with 23 gallon tanks with about 275 to 300 miles per tank

CarMax Boise (Meridian) review
I HATE buying a car because of all the games you have to play. Here, there were no games. Prices are posted. Either you want the car or you don't. They will offer you a fair price for your car. Either you take it or you don't. No pressure, no games. Just very nice people who were very helpful. This will be the first place I look when looking for another car. I love that you can shop online, put a hold on the car and go and look at it when it is convient for you. None of this, "I can't promise it will still be here tomorrow." games. They will hold it up to 7 days. I only asked for 2 days. It gave me enough time to look around and decide that I really did want the car at Carmax. Love my car, loved the experience. Try them first if you don't like the car buying game.
2024 Subaru Outback review
This is the eleventh Subaru I have owned, the third outback; the Outback wilderness is by far the best performer of all of the others I have had. I have been happy with subarus from the first one I bought a 1978 Brat; sure wish i still had it.
