Great dealership. I’ve purchased or leased 3 cars from them in the last 4 years. Always very pleasant to deal with. Not pushy, and very knowledgeable about their vehicles. Service is terrific too. Don’t hesitate to visit this dealership.

Turn signals do not have a loud sound. They are very low My 2016 Outback has nice loud turn signals. You cannot turn your radio off. The only way not to hear it is to put the sound real low. Two major complaints I have

2019 Subaru Outback review
I am in my seventies and didn't want to buy new so i I looked at over twenty used vehicles during my search. This Subaru Outback was the best driving vehicle of all that I tried. My experience at Boucher Ford in Janesville was fantastic. I was treated like a true customer with respect and caring for my needs.

Vincent was great. I was able to purchase my daughter a starter car at a good price. He was very transparent about the entire sales process and let me know about their fees upfront instead of hiding them and waiting until the end to let me know.

I’m a first time car buyer, and I worked with Pablo. He made the entire process go as smooth as possible. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! He even checked in with me the day after the purchase to see how everything was going.
2021 Subaru Outback review
So I bought a ‘21 Outback premium with 30k miles and have already put 6K more on it. Here is my honest review: if you want a fast car don’t get the 2.5 non turbo- that being said it is adequate for myself and get great gas mileage. The interior is good- I have the spec with cloth heated seats and they are comfortable and the cabin feels nice- has some cheap parts but I knew what I was buying. The infotainment is frustrating at times- auto start stop is a pain in the butt- but the infotainment itself isn’t bad with good sound and good responsiveness. The apple CarPlay will lag and be finicky at times but nothing terrible. As for drive quality it is a smooth ride and I don’t have any real complaints yet. Like I had mentioned if you want a car that is going to be fast- this engine and transmission will not do that for you. Overall I am happy so far with my purchase and feel as though I made a sensible decision when choosing this over some of its competition (I was looking at the VW Tiguan and and Mazda cx5)

Tyler was very helpful. A little disappointed with the tires that came on the car. Rear ones were BARELY LEGAL! Got an incredible deal on this 2022 Outback. Only had 30,000 miles on it. Beautiful Crimson Red Pearl exterior. I'd buy again from them, but not without getting good tires on the next vehicle before we commit to buy.
2024 Subaru Outback review
The acceleration lag that this car has is immediately outweighed by everything else. This car is super smooth and granny sedan comfy, and it has more utility than any equally priced SUV. The roof rails have built-in cross bars that stow, it tows 3500 pounds, and the Harmon-Kardon sound system kicks. It has butt fans, people. Additionally, the aftermarket base is thick, so accessories, customization, and reflashing options abound. The tech is old, the powertrain is old, but you see 300 of them a day for a reason.

2025 Subaru Outback review
I have had big trucks and SUV I now have a 2025 Outback wilderness, I had to drive this outback a while to get use to it, it was hard for me to get comfortable in this outback because it sat so low, for 60 years I had a vehicle sat up high and little more room in the front seat area,I got use to it, especially at the gas station with mpg I am getting , I am getting really right around 24 to 25 Mpg I am happy. Now that I have driven this outback for about 2 months I am happy, and in the Outback Wilderness it has the best AWD on the market not 4 wheel drive, never never let anybody tell you it is the same as 4 wheel drive If they do leave the dealership on the spot. I am happy I would buy again as long the price is 40k Or less if the price crosses the 45 k I would have gotten a Toyota 4 runner, not the 2025 models but the 2024 or 2023, remember these models are around 17 mpg with 23 gallon tanks with about 275 to 300 miles per tank

Five Star Subaru Of Oneonta, Inc.Reviews
Five Star Subaru Of Oneonta, Inc. review
Not long after the initial transmission flush (success!) fluid changes, and tire reseating (all 4 +new stems) I began driving with a bit more spirit. It became apparent, however, that things were not quite right. Shaking. Vibration. Beginning about 55 and worse at highway speeds. I had just checked tire pressure. Tires were all reseated. After this all possibilities start sounding more expensive. When one thinks on it, so many factors contribute to a smooth driving experience. The wheels, suspension and beyond all link up somewhere. Everything affects everything else, so trying to diagnose this myself would not lead me far. One phrase rang out in my mind. Front Left Axle, Boot Torn. This was the last report on the multi-point inspection. How much time did I have left? Some. Less if you drive on dirt roads with gravel. The dirt roads in my town are fantastic-they are made out of gravel. I could tell myself that the vibration was no big deal. Or I could follow up on the problem the shop reported. Five Star fit me in within the week to diagnose even as vacation season neared and work bays filled. I drove without an issue on local roads under the shaking speed. Or I should say, no issue that I could notice. This was important-I normally drive local roads, unaware of anything wrong at slow speeds, and this itself was the problem. When you don't notice. When you don't see it in advance. No check engine light. Only the shaking itself, which I didn't get at all until 55. I had just about sat down when my service writer returned with reconaissance. I was warned. Front Left Axle, Boot Torn, almost no grease left. The writers proceed to explain. The "boot" is a rubber shield around a complex joint of bearings, holding it in a bath of grease and protecting it from dirt, gravel, and impact. Once this boot is torn, everything starts to get into that joint, drying out any grease that hasn't been flung out and gouging into the bearings. Its a pretty quick timeline between the tear and noticeable grinding. This I did hear on slow, tight turns, while parking for example. I didn't know the sound was related. The lesson? Pay attention to all noises. It does not seem that axles are a part of safety inspections for my state, so the annual inspection would not have necessarily turned this up. The multi-point found it. Driving a 20+ year old model, it did not surprise me to hear that the part was discontinued and only available as aftermarket. I had been warned about this as well-many parts would be discontinued. The word has a finality about it, like nothing can be done. Yet, this was far from the case. The writers explained that they have a host of 3rd party resources and a preferred manufacturer for axles. Of course, hearing this was a huge relief, but I wouldn't know how much so until I looked up these axles myself. I found several different companies each selling different-looking and priced components. Which is best? Is the cheapest one junk? Just like anything for sale on the internet, reviews make the claim for either side. So how do you know? You need insider information. This was just one of the many reasons I was at Five Star Subaru in the first place. Only those techs with deep Subaru knowledge will know which part they trust to use on their own vehicles. That's the part I wanted-their best choice. This is why I keep returning. Five Star gives you the best they have, every time. Driving now close to 5k on the new axles (best installed in pairs) I can only smile at what I was missing out on. The car drives flawlessly on the highway now, winding hill climbs are even more confident. No small improvement for sure, new axles command attention to the top performance of the vehicle. ∆nother shining success for Five Star Subaru.

Totally upfront about what needs to be done and cost .. at 100G service they gave me a loaner at no charge. Based on the experience we have had we bought a new car from Williams. Recommend Williams Sales and Service.

They are willing to work with me. Its hard to know what to do though because of inflation now every where!
2020 Subaru Outback review
I have a 2020 Subaru Outback Touring 2.4L turbo model, the fully-loaded, most expensive model. It replaced a 2011 standard Outback with a 2.5L engine and manual transmission. My only criticism is poor gas mileage, about 23-24 mpg versus the 2011's 28.2 average over more than 100K miles. I like the power (260 HP) but might have forgone the turbo had I anticipated the unimpressive mileage. My 2001 Audi Q5, with a 260 HP 2.0L turbo engine, averages 28+ mpg, but cost $10K more than my Subaru. I rationalize by recognizing that $10K will buy a lot of gasoline.

2023 Subaru Outback review
2023 Subaru Outback Limited XT. A great station wagon (it’s not really a SUV). Comfortable leather seats, smooth ride and extremely quick with the turbo. If you don’t need seating for eight, you have no need for the Ascent. Same engine and cargo capacity and ground clearance, lower to the ground, faster, better handling and several thousand dollars cheaper. Standard all wheel drive. Full safety suite. 11.6” infotainment system is really closer to 8” as the climate control takes the additional 3.6”. The Harmon Kardon sound system will blow your doors off. Good in car navigation. Wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Hands free tailgate. 0-60 in 5.8 on regular gas. Standard roof rails. Even has heated outboard rear seats. If you’re considering a midsize or smaller SUV you owe it to yourself to drive this first.

2023 Subaru Outback review
I traded in my 2015 Outback and am now one month into driving my 2023 vehicle which I quite like. But I have a serious complaint about the new headlight system Subaru is using. I drive many unlit country roads that have quite a few short but somewhat steep hills. When heading on a flat the low beam lights do an okay, not great but okay, job of illuminating the road in front (the2015 was better). But when heading downhill, the line of decmarcation between the lit and unlit field of vision area often does not seem to extend far enough forward to allow me to see even 25 yards ahead. When traveling at 35 or 40 mph, I find this dangerous and unnerving. While driving 35 mph downhill on a 40 or 50 yard stretch of the road on 2/18/23 I was unable to see far enough forward and therefore slow down in time before hitting a cat. Additionally, the display screen requires me to take my eyes off the road far too often to see what control I might be touching, be that a temperature control, a radio station, or something else. Those things not withstanding I like the car.
