We looked it over and went home (liverpool,ny) and called a day or two later that we wanted to get a wrangler with the options and color we wanted. I came to Ridge Road many years back looking for a quality used vehicle. Ray, the owner, found me just the vehicle I was looking for. The vehicle needed routine service once in a while, and I went to Ridge Road Imports Service, which is on the same premises. Being a female (accountant), I had been "fleeced" before, and was always wary because I know next to nothing about cars. EXCELLENT service, mechanics talked to me with respect, good explanations, accurate estimates, and timely completions of work. I have purchased every single one of my subsequent vehicles since then from Ridge Road, because they can always find me what I need. At times, I have had some very specific requests, like the vehicle must be a stick and be able to fit four Greyhounds in the back for one example. Recently I totaled my car, that I had purchased from Ridge Road. I was very upset and also heartbroken because I loved the car, and really demand a stick as opposed to an automatic. Elliott and Ray took SUCH good care of me. They found me the SAME model of car, (in a nicer color!), much newer, and it's a stick!!! Everyone at Ridge Road that I have dealt with over the years is both professional and friendly. They are eager to please their customers, and have gone out of their way to find me and friends the cars they want and need. I wholeheartedly recommend Ridge Road Imports without reservation to anyone looking for a quality used car and/or excellent and reasonably priced and honest servicing of your car in a timely manner.

I had been looking for months for a Subaru Baja. They are pretty rare. These folks had a 2005 that looked good, so after some emails and calls I drove 100 miles from Rochester to take a look and possibly trade my 2001 Outback. The Baja was as clean and ran as well as I had been led to believe by Elliot, and I bought the Baja. At home I discovered that the driver's side door lock didn't work. I took the car in to my local Subaru dealer to get that fixed and have some routine maintenance performed and have the car checked out in detail, even though I was pretty sure there was nothing seriously wrong with it. The dealer confirmed that the car was in good shape, and estimated the lock repair. This repair would not have been covered by Ridge Road's warranty and I knew that, but I thought a call to them was in order anyway. Elliot offered to split the cost of the lock repair. So I had the repair done by my dealer and sent Elliot the bill. In a matter of days I received a check for the agreed-upon amount. It would have been easy for these folks to walk away from this, but they didn't. Over the years I've bought LOTS of cars from lots of dealers. Some of those experiences were good, some not so good. From beginning to end, this experience was one of the good ones. I would deal with these people again. You should too.

We went to royal Subaru hoping to find an SUV after going all over and having no luck. We met “Uncle” Bill OGorman there, and he helped us find a Subaru Forester Touring that we fell in love with. It is a lovely light green color. It fits all of my needs, as i am handicapped and have trouble getting in and out of cars. Bill went above and beyond making sure that we were comfortable, and that we knew and tried every feature in the vehicle. We went on an extended trial test ride, and he went over every detail that we asked about, and then some. When in the office, he made sure we were comfortable, offering us snacks and a drink of juice or water. That was very thought of him, as i have trouble sitting for long periods. He did a very through job of explaining all the other details that we needed to know before we got the car. We would highly recommend Bill to anyone who comes there, and had a very pleasant experience at Royal Subaru of Cortland.
