I was hesitant to trade in my vehicle, but I went to Ernie's and found another vehicle. Bart and Ernie always caring and always smiling. I am so happy I did it and love my new vehicle. This is my third vehicle from them, and I won't go anywhere else.

Overall, it's great! It's a Honda and it is reliable and holds up well over time! It can be parked anywhere! However, the heater is terrible - takes over 20 minutes to warm up the car inside (my 1996 Civic and 2002 CR-V had fantastic heaters, I don't know what Honda's done to ruin their heaters). It is also bad for road noise, it is difficult to hear passengers because of all the road noise on a highway!

The gray front bumpers do not scratch easily and that is good especially for a young driver. Versatile, can tow well, good family car, good space, not too large but not small, quirky design, great on the highway, and can take it almost anywhere u want especially with a 4WD. I have a 2WD but I still take it anywhere down dirt roads and up mountain gravel roads. Such a unique vehicle and it’s tough as nails. It accelerates well especially for the time it was made. Nothing fancy but it’s purely durable inside and out. It is a SUV on a truck frame with a large V6 engine so all the people complaining about gas mileage are quite frankly ignorant because they must have expected something different.

My experience with Ernie's Auto Sales was great. After looking at a lot of Jeeps, I purchased a 2014 Wrangler from Ernie. It was obvious that he knew a lot about, and took pride in the vehicles he sells. Very nice business to deal with.

Bought in 2017 with 35K on it, this is my second CRV and fifth Honda since '95. It now has @ 140K on it and it drives almost like new. I had one major repair, a new drive shaft ($1100) which was the FIRST major repair on ANY of my Hondas since '95. Reliable and then some. Great resale value.

Bart & Ernie went above and beyond to assure me that the under body was essentially rust free. Bart sent me 6 photos of the under side. Bart even offered 3 different options to get the vehicle to me including picking me up at the airport for free to drive the impala back to northern Maine. I highly recommend that you talk to these guys before buying your next quality pre-owned vehicle. They take the worry out of long distance car buying!

Bought my 2015 Subaru 2.0XT Touring brand spanking new off the Subaru dealership's lot. Have owned it all this time about 9 years straight. Take care of your car with regular oil changes, servicing at recommended intervals, and your car will take care of you. Performed the required recalls during service periods. Not 1 single regret on owning this car, ever. It rides smooth and true. Had a clicking issue in the ball joints 2 years ago which Subaru fixed free of charge. Other than that, this car has been my dream machine.

If you are like me and usually buy your vehicle locally so you can kick the tires and test drive before you buy , seriously consider checking out Ernie and his brother Bart to deal with. They both take the anxiety out of buying long distance, sight unseen. I bought a 2012 Chevy Impala from them with less than 27,000 miles on it. My biggest concern was the under body since my old 2011 Impala had rusted out so badly it would not pass inspection. Bart volunteered to put their impala up on a lift an send me 6 pictures of the belly of the beast. It was just as clean as if it had just rolled off the assembly line yesterday! Since at 73 I was not up to driving 16 hours round trip from northern Maine for a test drive Bart went out of his way to give me 3 options to make the sale/delivery possible. He even volunteered to pick me up at the Albany,NY airport over 2 hours from North Adam’s,MA , if I flew out for a test drive at no charge (other than than air fare). I opted to purchase the vehicle sight unseen and have it delivered for a fair delivery charge to my local mechanic’s shop for state inspection and under body treatment. The impala was delivered in a completely enclosed trailer so not even a mosquito splattered on the windshield! That also kept any and all road grit off the underbody so it could be undercoated with 8 spray cans of “Fluid Film” by my local mechanic. He could not believe how clean the under belly of the 13 year impala was! Seeing in person confirmed what the photos that Bart took sent! The paper work went like clock work through the mail: smooth, professional, personal, and timely. I was in constant phone contact with Ernie and Bart throughout the whole process. My only complaint is that they are so far away because I’d rather do business with a handshake! I would really like to meet these guys in person! So if you are a little wary about buying your next “used” car sight unseen, long distance, like I was, these guys are as good as if not better than buying locally!

Now have 110,000 miles on vehicle and had to pay out 1800 on some mechanical parts. For the most part my 2014 Jeep Patriot has been pretty good. Great in snow.

Very nice car, interior is super sleek, it handles super well. Engine runs great. Very spacious inside 3 rows lots of leg room. Love the seat warmers!!!

The HR-V is a great vehicle, however, the option of heated seat is enemic. Have taken back to dealer 3 times for testing and they say there is nothing wrong and meets specs. I changed dealers and got the same resuts. Well my bottom tells another story and have tested both driver and passenger for heat in the dead of winter of winter. There is absolutely no heat from either seat. Tested from current dealer with the same results. Maybe we are jinxs as my wife and other passengers can confirm lack of heat, or, no heat at all.

1 year - no problems. Maintenance service was fast and good. No solutions made that I could find for lowering back hatch for short people, like me. Weatherproof floor mats a nice touch. Decent for the money.

This car is far superior to my previous 2021 Toyota RA4. In my distant youth I use to do some racing and handling is highest priority. Suspension, steering, 17" alloy wheels vs 15" steel wheels with hubcaps, full spare tire vs doughnut, 3 row seating vs 2 rows, 400 lbs heavier therefore more stable in windy conditions and roads that are not level, and much more. Only downside is the general Volkswagen issue with poor sound systems. Not only that, the after market is almost non-existent for the Tiguan.

Needs oil filter conversion so oil doesn't drain back, Google it..good power, goes anywhere , better than the 2 door for smoother ride,, I would buy again

My first service experience at the new BM facilities in Pittsfield. Very nice. Check-in is basically drive-in which makes it very convenient. Service reps were friendly and helpful, I received an informative video on my phone during the procedure, and service was completed promptly. I was soon on my way home. I’ll be back for the next service to my Mazda.

2022 Outer Banks SAS screen freezes/Reboots constantly and it seems the car play stops working not sure if this is happening a lot I do know this is a frustrating experience

I ended up at Bennington Subaru out of pure necessity. I own a 2011 red Subaru Outback and live in Dutchess County NY. I was on my way to Wilmington VT when my car broke down on a Friday night. After getting it towed to the nearest city (Bennington) I spent the night in a hotel and then immediately brought it to the closest dealership the next day. I explained to the service desk people what had happened and that my car had overheated and that when I looked under the hood there was antifreeze everywhere. I explained I was 2 hours away from home and needed help. The man who’s name escapes me was very nice. He said they had a line of cars already scheduled for the day but that he would make sure my car got in and was worked on that day. I also explained that I had my 95 lbs female Great Dane in the back of my car and asked what I should do with her. He said bring her on inside we love dogs! I was incredibly relieved. I ended up waiting at the dealership all day with my dog and every person that came up to me was incredibly welcoming and wanted to say high to my dog. After several hours they came back with a diagnosis which said I needed a new radiator but they didn’t want to tear it apart because they wouldn’t be able to finish it that day. I said that was fine that I would bring it home and have my dealership at home do it. They only charged me for an hours worth of labor for the whole affair! I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a good HONEST! Dealership experience. Many other dealerships would have not been nearly as inviting and would have charged way more for what they did. I thank them for being so welcoming and trustworthy. It’s rare I find to see a dealership these days with those qualities engrained in their business model and their staff. Thank you.

The 2016 Subaru Outback is the first car I'd ever bought brand new, and I haven't been disappointed since it was purchased 7 years ago. It's very reliable, fun to drive, easy on gas, easy on maintenance and easy on the eyes. Will do it all over again when I make my next Subaru purchase!

The RAV4 Prime is a hybrid-electric vehicle with a bigger battery than the hybrid-electric version of the RAV4. It has Lots of power, all-wheel drive, decent handling along with versatile utility of the compact SUV. This is not an electric vehicle in that the gas engine will operate under certain conditions even though the 'electric mode' has been selected. That said, gasoline usage is reduced if 'electric mode' is used exclusively and the trip distance is less than 35 or 40 miles. My suggestion for Toyota (and anyone else building a "plug-in hybrid") is to increase the battery capacity to 60 miles of electric range. The range-extended electric 2nd Generation Chevy VOLT will deliver around 52 miles of electric range depending on driving and weather conditions and will nearly eliminate gasoline usage for most people. The VOLT electric-drive system is different from the TOYOTA hybrid-drive system. The VOLT will operate as an electric-drive vehicle until either the battery is depleted or the driver selects the "Hold" mode. The car then operates as a gasoline-hybrid-drive and reserves the battery charge for later use as a full-electric drive vehicle. The result of these two different drive systems is that the RAV4 Prime has given us an overall of 100 MPG verses the Gen2 VOLT of 164 MPG. Both have saved considerable gasoline. We recharge regularly at home on Level 1 or Level 2 and almost never 'top-off' at public charging sites. Both have been excellent vehicles with the RAV4 giving more carrying capacity with the trade off of requiring more fuel.

We had a great experience from start to finish. From the initial call confirming the car I wanted was one they had scheduled to be built, to delivery of the vehicle, everything was smooth. Both Greg M and Greg C were awesome! Great communication, friendly and helpful staff, fair pricing on the new car and trade in. I’m out of state so the car had to be delivered to me. They handled all of the paperwork and delivered the car to my house. The delivery driver was so thoughtful, he had to go back to the DMV after getting my signature on a new form and didn’t want to put the extra miles (would’ve been less than 10 miles) on my new car so changed the plates and took the trade in back to the DMV. The process couldn’t have been any smoother. Would highly recommend!

Currently own a 2018 Santa Fe Sport base model and now has 115k miles on it. I have know major issues a d maintenance cost have been reasonable. I hope to get another 115k off it.

Bought 2023 Macan T. I traded in my aging 911 for it. I did not buy another 911 because they have become too big and expensive. The Macan T is a fun car to drive if you are actively trying to drive it. The back seats are tight. The PCM is frequently confounding or crashes and won’t play any media unless you stop the car, turn it off then open the door close the door and restart it. The fit and finish is excellent. The upgraded seats are good. I can’t activate the around view monitor unless I put it into reverse. The dealer wants 300.00 to connect the my Porsche app on iPhone to the car. Porsche corporate is helpful and has normal humans that answer the phone. The PDK is fun and the exhaust has some fun subtle sounding pops. It’s like a refined hot hatch car but not really a great highway car. The base stereo is plenty good enough. Styling is top notch. Adaptive cruise works but needs supervision while using. The rear wiper appears cheap and flimsy. Should have been mounted from the top of the rear glass. The guages in the day are too dark not lit up and hard to see. The back up camera has poor resolution and has a strange perspective making it less useful. It’s a fun, clever designed expensive car with tech flaws that you have to overlook to enjoy the car. If you buy a slightly used one from a Porsche dealer you can get your warranty close to 6 years. Service is expensive probably to pay for giving you a loaner.

I absolutely hate the console area. No great place to put your bigger drinks am. No place to sit your cell phones. Keys, etc. The area is too small and not easy to get between the two seats. Would love to update it if its possible and put a different type with better cup holders and Ann area to sit items.

We have owned this car for about a month and a half and have not yet refilled the tank. It is very convenient to run around and do local errands and shopping with just using the electrical battery power that costs less than half the price of gas. We roughly get 15-17 miles on a single charge. This is more than enough to get us around locally and perform everything that we need to do.
