2007 Toyota Highlander review
We have owned our Highlander since about 42K miles, it now has 136k. The car has been wonderfully reliable and the batteries (now 16 years old) seem to still be working quite well. We get about 25mpg, maybe one or two less than when we first got it. While maybe not sexy, the first-gen Highlander Hybrid is a super well-engineered car. Our years in this tight, quiet, comfortable, spacious vehicle have been great. Biggest problem is we can't find a modern car we like enough to replace it!

2009 INFINITI QX56 review
Plenty of interior room for a 4 person family with both of the kids being in car seats. Great power (mine has some upgrades). Got around 17mpg on the highway, so not the best but you don't buy this vehicle for the spectacular mileage. I love the tough boxy exterior style. The dash and gaugea are laid out very easy to read and reach. My biggest complaint was that I couldn't find a comfortable position in the driver's seat on trips longer than 3 hours. I haven't had that problem in any other vehicle I have owned.

2005 Land Rover LR3 review
After 21 years and 128,000 miles my LR3 SE is as capable and as comfortable as it was new--from rock crawling around Moab to a long road trip. Regular servicing has played a role--repairs have been minimal and everything works as it should. MPG is in the low range, although on secondary roads at 55-65 mph 20-22 is usual, with 18-20 at interstate speeds. I'm fortunate not to do typical city driving where mileage would be discouraging. All interior controls are intuitive-- a knob is a knob and a switch is a switch, with no levels to navigate to change something as simple as the AC fan speed. The lack of cameras and sensor beeps encourages driver awareness, in my view a greater asset than built-in robotics that tend to reduce alertness.

2007 Cadillac Escalade review
I have over 250,000 miles on it, always used synthetic oil, doesn't burn a drop. Is gas hungry 12-13 MPG but in Texas we have some roads with no speed limit. When I cruse at 90mph, I get 17-18MPG!!!!! Looking for another Used Escalade to replace my 1999 Chevy Tahoe that has 387,000 miles on it !!! GM has the best SUV's made!!

2010 Chevrolet Traverse review
I currently have 158,000 miles on my Traverse . I bought it six years ago . It has been through my two kids and their permit driving . To driving my kids to school everyday for five years . We love twenty miles from town . I have always kept the maintenance up on it . I plan on driving my traverse till it is done . Chevrolet really did their homework when they made the Traverse . It has satisfied my every need in a car . I love the power , the quite on the road . The gas mileage for the power you get out of it . The comport for traveling . The ease of handling. 2004 Saturn Vue review
Purchasing this vehicle from the original owner's widow, in late 2024, I was quite lucky. This car was "HIS BABY", and he took great care of it... 2004 model with 117,000 miles. His care of it was quite evident. She couldn't find his maintenance records, so I visually checked the timing belt (and it looked new, thank goodness). I changed engine oil, trans. oil, differential oil, and transfer case oil. Upper radiator hose blew-out on me, about a month ago;l the replacement part was $ 140.00, and fairly easy to install. I'm quite pleased with the HONDA ENGINE & TRANSMISSION the vehicle came with (J35 S1 / H5 respectively). I wish it were as fast as my previous car (Saturn Aura XR). If you have a chance to purchase one of these gems, I'd highly recommend. We don't get snow, but the AWD feels ultra safe & sure-footed in the rain.

2012 Volkswagen Tiguan review
Bought it almost new (2600miles) in 2013. Longest car I ever kept. It’s fun to drive, comfortable, solid, nibble in and out of traffic, good in snow and rain. Excellent on hills because of the turbo engine and regularly beat the high end BMW, Audi MB and Lexus. costs a little more cause it needs premium gas. One tune up every year and every time the mechanic told me transmission, brake, muffler, tailpipe, timing belt all good. So far one major repair of gaskets because of water leak at $2000 and regular tires battery . Will keep until we are forced to go EV

2013 Dodge Journey review
Hi guys: This is my 4th report on this vehicle. The car is now 10 years old and has 140,000 miles on it. Our car has the 3.6 Pentastar, 3rd row seating, 8.4 inch Uconnect system, roof racks, premium sound system, DVD player, rear air conditioning, push button start, heated seats and steering wheel, back up camera and is front wheel drive only. Engine, transmission and air conditioner have been excellent. Never a problem. 30 miles to the gallon on the highway. Many suspension components have been replaced and vehicle is starting to rust around the rear wheel well. Uconnect has had issues. All in all a very reliable and very comfortable vehicle. 2001 Acura MDX review
After 19 years, and 190k miles this car never needed a tow! It's comfortable, easy, and simple. All our friends who then got Fords, GMs, a Subarus crossover in the same price range had to sell their car 8 to 12 years ago because of reliability issues... sometime for less that than what you could find one 19 yr MDX today. Of course, in 2020 the car does not look like a modern car, but its look is simple enough, and had been copied enough that the car will continue to age well. Maintenance is not cheap when performed by Acura, but the local one at least stood by their work and their car. When the tranny failed after 8 years, they replace it at no cost to us. My kids grew up with this car, and the interior barely shows wear and tear... Now the car has been totaled, I am sad to let it go....

2012 GMC Terrain review
I've had mine for 12 years I've driven it a cross country 6 times. It is a fantastic vehicle. I pulled a small travel trailer and it didn't change my gas mileage one bit. From IL to LA California never a problem.
