We bought this car brand new. One thing I don’t like is it has no spare tire, just an air pump. We don’t drive a lot. We have owned our car a little over two years and we have 5322 miles on it. Since we have had it the AC Compressor locked up, under warranty, replaced with new belt, then a front axle had to be replaced because the metal ring was put above the rubber boot, under warranty, the most recent our battery was dead, very cold winter, and a power steering module was draining the battery, under warranty. There is a recall on the computer screen, we never had an issue with it , but that was replaced. When we purchased this car we paid a good amount to have an extended warranty for 6-7 years after the Chrysler one is done. May be a good thing we purchased that. Everything is covered on this car, with the exception of maintenance such as brakes, oil changes, etc…. We love the car, handles nice, does well in the snow, and it looks good!!!! We have no worries, we have the warranty for the next several years. The Chrysler dealer we take it to are very nice, competent, polite fellows. I’m sure all makes and models Chevy’s, Ford’s, etc…all have manufacturing issues. Like I said this car handles nice, and looks good. I read in Italy they have Hornets as police cars. So we will give it a 4 star out of 5. Happy Motoring Folk’s!!!!!

Too early to be sure of reliability, but my previous 4 subarus were great. I came here to say how much I like this new purchase, a used '24. Great cruise features. Good power & performance (2.5L) so I'm happy with the CVT. I just love it. They're still a bit lighter and noisier than the outback/legacy versions.

The CRV is a luxury mid size hatchback. Smooth riding, handles well in Michigan’s winter weather 🤒. Good miles per gallon. I do drive in economy mode. I am still getting used to the size after driving a Honda Odessy. Good overall view. No obvious blind spots. I wish it had a manual garage opener feature on on the Ex.

I had the best experience with poage. I ended up in the car I loved and a trade in that I was totally satisfied with. Brandy was excellent to work with. I will definitely be a customer again.

I didn’t think I would ever trade in my Honda Ridgeline Trailsport, but when it went down, my rental was a 2025 Equinox. I was very impressed with it and prompted me to stop into a local GMC/Chevy dealership and found a beautiful 2023 Chevy Equinox RS just traded in after a 3 year lease on it was up, so the upkeep and general maintenance was important to me, and well kept by an older gentleman who traded it in and bought another New one! Call it faith that it was the same color as my Honda truck in Iron steel grey with the black edition badges and rims too, same as my Ridgeline Trailsport! Took it for a test drive, the rest is history! I was so impressed with the driving, comfortable interior cabin, infotainment screen package, as smooth of a ride as it was, and all easily accessible buttons at your fingertips. The powerlift gate is a nice touch too, amazing! The only possible setback is going from a V6 to a 4 cylinder, so the power lacks a little as expected but is nice at the gas pump! Overall I’m pleased and would recommend this SUV to anybody or family! Test drive and you’ll be impressed as well! And it’s a Chevy! Nice job GM !

I brought this truck in 2019. I kept taking it back to the dealership to get tweaked several times. Once it was figured out, never got any problems ever again. A little weak on the power side, but, other than that, its a magnificent vehicle. A total work horse. Great on gas. It is totally worth it.

7 years ago a friend told me to look at Hess auto before I bought anywhere else. I did and I bought a SUV from Eric. So when I was in need of another vehicle I went back to Eric and he remembered me and the car I had purchased. No pressure sales, very fair prices and most of all he listened to what I wanted and found the perfect car for me, a Nissan Rouge sport. I can't say enough good things about Hess auto. Everyone there was super nice and a great laid back atmosphere.

Now have 110,000 miles on vehicle and had to pay out 1800 on some mechanical parts. For the most part my 2014 Jeep Patriot has been pretty good. Great in snow.

I just bought it. How would I know how reliable it is? We're used to a car with a V8, but bought this for economy and the warranty. It' slightly underpowered but not a deal breaker. The Auto stop start feature is a royal pain. It's 95+ degrees, We're at a series of long red lights. The engine stops, the A/C is running, the engines heats up, the car starts for the A/C compressor, stops, starts, stops, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, (wasn't that annoying? YES IT IS!) and starts when I release the brakes. This goes on all afternoon. I've worked on cars for 65 years and you will never convince me it won't wear out the battery and starter prematurely. I want that mess disabled. We will put less than 6,000 miles per year on this car. I doubt we saved $,20 in gas compared to a $600 battery/starter replacement bill.

Hess Auto Agency was very easy to work with and made the car buying experience pleasant and seamless. It made us feel very confident buying from them even though we were from out of state. Eric also worked directly with our local credit union to make sure everything was in order before we made the trip. I bought a used 2020 Ford escape hybrid titanium with 33,000 miles. I came from a 2015 X3 and I am surprised how well this car handles and feels firmly planted. I love the electric driving at slow speeds and you can hear the gas engine come on and it’s louder than my BMW, but I am still pleasantly surprised by the low level of road noise at highway speeds. Mine is Persian green, which is rare, and absolutely beautiful after I waxed it. The exterior is pretty good, considering its price range, and the interior is subpar with the hard plastic on the doors, but overall, the controls are very intuitive, easily reachable, and after I learned how to use all the options, my favorite feature is the adaptive cruise control with stop and go and lane centering. The car basically just drives itself, even in the city at low speeds. I just have to make the turns and stop at red lights and stop signs if there is no car in front of me. I also love the short stopping distances with the brakes, which feel great and confidence-inspiring, and the steering actually feels better than in my BMW, which was too light at highway speeds. Another feature that sold me was how much legroom there is in the backseat, especially the fact that you can recline the backseat a little bit and also push it a few inches back to create more legroom. There is definitely more legroom in the front and back than in my BMW, even though my BMW was a few inches longer than this car. I love the look of the RAV4 hybrid XLE and it has more cargo room, but if you check the user reviews, you’ll see that the Escape hybrid actually beats it in mpg and in my area, I would’ve paid $8k - $9k more for a similar used RAV4 so I felt like the Escape hybrid was a better value overall. I rarely buy extended warranties with cars, but I did with this one since it was such a good deal at only $4000 but it gave me seven years of extended coverage and up to 80,000 more miles, whichever comes first. Considering how tariffs will affect car part pricing and car repair bills, I thought this was a an exceptional value, just like the car itself. I’ve only had it for three weeks, but I am really enjoying driving the car and seeing how little gas it sips.

Nice person from dealership negotiated a deal with me on a vehicle. I wanted it my wife did not. Ha ha. I did not get car but not the fault of Carson Ford. Can’t remember guys name but nothing wrong with his work ethics and response to my inquiries.

We bought it in 2023 just off lease as a CPO. It’s been a great vehicle. We love it would buy another one in a minute.

GMC is still not able to fully fix the horn. It is working easier but not 100%. This is not Poage's fault.

I've added aftermarket exhaust and a computer chip and the roar pedal also KNN air filter and bigger tires 35 so far it is a lot of fun to drive

Searching the internet for that special older sports car that met my requirements for price, condition, and mileage. A car at Hess Auto Agency caught my eye, but it was around 300 miles from my home in Kansas. I was concerned about buying a car over the internet, but the excellent pictures presented by Hess Auto along with information provided by Kirk and Eric convinced me that this car was right for me. When I mentioned that my wife and I were concerned about traveling at this time and were considering the possibility of having the car delivered, Kirk and Eric put together a delivery price proposal that was 1/3 lower than national level providers, even offering to deliver the next day. I've purchased a number of cars from a number of dealers in my 71 years of life, and it's my opinion that Hess Auto ranks right at the top. I am very happy with my purchase!

I have a 2018 Cherokee latitude plus. More than 140k miles. Very nice SUV. I think most of this bad reviews are not fair. I will buy a new one in the near future.

I purchased used '22 Escape SE AWD two years old, low mileage and delighted with my dealer purchase. Upon extensive research, I was aware the loss of market value, which is why I purchased used. This vehicle is produced in volume as 'low-end' entry among 22 field competitors. Yes, there are several vehicles out there higher rated, more expensive, but my research validated highest cargo storage - highest mpg, for the reasonable market price. You can benefit from this depreciation by buying used! Some complain of the transmission, or slow pickup, or passenger door side panels. I have had no issues after 20,000 miles 6/2024 and get 31.3 mpg combined which is stellar!! A great value for the used car price-not new price. I would recommend as a reasonable value, HIGH capacity SUV can accommodate 4 airport passengers full size luggage is my first Ford of 21 cars purchased. Styling is very attractive, good assortment of safety features. Rear seats slide for extended passenger or cargo capacity.

CRV has been a very good good vehicle. Engine has lots of power for its size category. Exterior and interior materials are very high quality, especially on the EX-L versions and higher. Car has required very little maintenance other than scheduled items. Rear visibility is better than many other SUVs. Cargo volume and rear seat legroom are more than ample. Gas mileage is pretty impressive as well. We liked the CRV so much, we bought a second one.

I always bought the GMC Acadia (4 times) but decided to try the terrain. I absolutely love it and it's a great car for zipping around in town. I would take it for a weekend trip but not on a long trip as it doesn't have a lot of cab room, but for two people it is fine

They let me have the car for a night before deciding to buy, they came down on price with a very reasonable offer without having to really negotiate. The car was very clean and they gave me a full tank of gas and offered to do the next oil change for free. Brandy Bartlett was friendly and easy to deal with.

What a superb automobile. This is what I have wanted in a long time. It has more bells and whistles than I really need but it is very nice to have them. Everything I marked above is definitely true and more. I would highly recommend this auto to everyone interested in buying one. Believe the right ups on this auto that others have also made.
