2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
My Grand Cherokee Laredo E just turned 50,000 miles a few days ago. Other than routine maintenance, the only money that I have invested in it was for 4 tires last month. Extremely comfortable, capable and reliable. While not delivering Prius-like gas mileage, given the performance it provides in all types of weather.............NO COMPLAINTS !

2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 review
It is a wonderful car. The interior is exceptional and the technology is state of the art. The drive is the best I have experienced in any car I have driven. Had the car for a short time and zero issues or problems. Overall a super luxury SUV. For the extra money and given the cost of new cars, the MB GLE 350 is worth the extra expense.

2022 Cadillac XT6 review
My wife's car is a 2019 XT5 premium purchased new and now has 60,000 trouble free miles, still looks and drives like new. I needed another vehicle that was practical and luxurious. I found a fairly loaded used 2022 XT6 premium with average miles, negotiated what I thought was a very good deal and purchased. Same engine as my XT5 but a softer ride and great features, very quiet and comfortable. Bose sound system is excellent and vehicle has plenty of utility. I was surprised at the depreciation for such a nice SUV, maybe I just got lucky being in the right place at the right time or maybe because it was end of December and dealers want to move inventory by years end, anyway great SUV, I am very happy so far.

2021 Ford Explorer review
I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

2016 Toyota 4Runner review
It's the very last body on frame bullet proof SUV. It's built like a tank is great for all types of driving situations and here in Illinois where the roads are almost as terrible as it's governor it needs to be ready to drive over potholes the size of Pritzkers rear end and handle it. I've had no problems and plan on holding onto it especially now that Toyota has taken a turn for the worse with garbage 4 cylinder turbos.

Overall a great vehicle. I recommend sitting in the front passenger seat before buying. If you are 5'8" or more you will hit your head getting in and out as seat is high and can not be adjusted on the XLE model.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

2023 Honda Pilot review
I purchased a 2023 Hilda Pilot from the Honda dealership on South Boulevard in Charlotte. we had a horrible experience with a couple other dealerships in south Carolina and north carolina . we have been looking for a truck for months and thought we found a couple so we drove to moore county and on the way there they sold the prospective truck as we were pulling on to their lot out from under our feet . we had check in hand and coming in to look at and test drive they knew we were on the way to do so . they never told us someone else was in the process of buying it they just told us it was still available and to come on out they didn't even show us another truck or something equivalent frustrated and upset we drove 45 minutes one way to not see a truck we drove home . Next day we were alerted of another truck this time in south carolina so we drove another 100 miles the oposite way with check in hand to look at another prospective truck. only to get there and realize they weren't honest about the mileage or that the truck was used . they also failed to tell us that it had pulled a travel trailer entirely too big for that type of truck which raised suspicions about the condition of the truck. they also tried getting more money out of us than what they instructed our bank lender to write the check for if we decided to buy. we asked to speak with the manager at this chevy dealership he said he has been working on this since we called and knew all about the situation , but when we brought up the fact we weren't comfortable buying something that was used and had hauled something too big he was furious and didnt like to be called a liar. he also said that he was sorry we wouldn't pay the extra 300 dollars to make the deal go through . being an older couple we were tired and frustrateddthat a upstanding dealership in south carolina treated us the way they did . so we left and called the bank lender and explained what had happened she started looking for us herself and found john hiester Chevrolet of Lillington and told us to call and give it a try before we gave up . they had a brand new 23 chevy truck and it was less money. we called and was directed to ashley whom was very nice and understanding she told us she was on it and would get back to us. the next day i called back on the truck and they made the ball roll right away . we started out that afternoon 80 miles the other way hoping this was not another goose chase . we went up test drove and did paperwork on our new Silverado pickup truck much better price and way more better experience. thank you so much for your courteous professional and kind treatment it made the other 2 dealerships and frustration go away . best car buying experience ever in our 49 years of buying and driving a car . this place deserves a reward of excellence !!!!!!!!!! ive already recommended this dealership to 3 other people thank you to everyone we cant remember all your names we met that night but everyone was very nice and patient and understanding made the whole buying process worth the trip.
2025 Ford Explorer review
I purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer Platinum with the 3.0 liter 6 cyclinder. The car has lots of power and drives well. It has lots of acceleration and easily pulls a 5000 lb trailer. Things I like about the car: 1. Heated and cooled front massage seats. On a long drive the massage seats are fabulous! 2. Very good radio/sound system 3. Wireless Apple/Android connectivity 4. Lots of cargo space What I dislike: 1. Gas mileage between 19-22 mpg 2. Lane departure system annoying 3. Had a rattle noise in the front of the car at 9000 miles that the dealer could not find. At 11,000 miles, the rattle mysteriously went away. No idea what is going on here. 4. Sometimes when I open the rear hatch, the chime sounds loudly, The next time it does not sound at all. Wish I could just turn it off. ??

2025 Honda Passport review
I purchased the Black Edition and I love it. I like: the auto adjust front seats, heated seats and steering wheel, the quite ride, smooth ride, the 9 speed transmission, the sound it makes when I push on the acceleration, great excelleration (especially when the Echo mode is off). The only thing that would make it perfect is better gas mileage.

2025 Chevrolet Traverse review
I the Z71 with extra features, I love the car but here are some drawbacks 1- Only one size engine available 4 cylinder turbo I wish if they offered 6 cylinder turbo 2- The car shifting for the transmission does not give you the opportunity to shift up to the highest gear at lower speeds (example if I am driving 55-65 miles per hour it will not go to the top gear) 3- I don’t have the option of memory seats by pushing the button 1 or 2

2025 Honda Pilot review
I think this is the best looking exterior of the mid size SUV mix. The interior is great, but the 9in screen is dated (updated for 26) and the cabin is a little noisy on the highway (also updated for 26 but I haven’t driven one to test it). The quality of the rear review and forward cameras is pretty good but not the crispest I’ve seen. I have the Black Edition which does a good job of reducing the plastic in the interior. I think lower trims are a bit plastic heavy. Seats are comfy, lots of space for kids and I like the removable bench for captains chairs with the option to have the bench if you need it. For a road trip, I have put 3 car seats in a row 2nd row bench to leave 3rd row flipped down for more cargo. Would not recommend that daily though. If you need 3 in one row daily you want to consider a full size but I’m just fine with 2 kids in captains chairs 2nd row and 1 in 3rd with the other half of the bench flipped down for cargo (which is sufficient for a stroller). I think that’s enough for most people. Performance is fine but nothing exciting. You don’t have the power of say an Explorer xx although I’m not sure you actually need that. Perfectly fine as a daily driver and I switch to sport mode when merging in on the highway. Reliability is top notch - routine service and you can trust you won’t need much more. Hoping to keep this 8-10 yrs and I don’t anticipate a problem. I use the dealership, but any shop should be able to work on a Honda Pilot without a problem.

2023 Chevrolet Traverse review
Love this car! This is our 2nd Traverse. My wife loves it. I have 180,000 miles on it and still going strong. We will definitely be looking for our 3rd one. It has the most room of all SUV in its classs. The v-6 has very good power with lots of pickup.

I have been searching for a AMG since June, 2022. I have been dealing with the mark up of these cars that go against what banks value them. One after another I end up passing a deal on one due to the owner not having the title in hand, price and delayed responses from sellers. Frustrated, I decided to do my daily web search for a AMG and calm the nerves. Little do I find, a car I once owned. Back in 2020 I ended up having to sell a few of my cars due to medical reasons and expenses. One of them was a 2005 SLK55 AMG, which I had worked on personally rebuilding/improving the Roadster. I never thought I would see this car again until I found it on John Heister's website, which this Dealership was located in North Carolina nearly 1825 miles away. I contacted the dealership quickly hoping it wasn't pending sale. John(Sales) who I had first contact with, listened to my story about the vehicle including my past ownership. I went over the details of the worked performed and the modifications I have done to the SLK. He was intrigued with my story and was interested in helping me buy this car back. Now in most cases dealing with price is always the harder end when buying a vehicle but John made it easy, working with his Sales Manager they both gave me the green light on what I would pay for this vehicle. I was so happy and with John's constant communication throughout the buying process and getting the car ready for transport I was beyond exhilarated. This was a effortless experience compared to other Dealers who have only seen customer's as a Dollar sign walking through the door or in this case thru a website haha. 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK review
Just bought a gently used `22 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK in diamond black. I love it! It was a prior lease with just 18k miles on it. I have had it for a few weeks and I am thrilled! Stereo is amazing and it even has a nice factory sunroof and tow package!

2023 GMC Acadia review
I have owned my Acadia just under one year. It is quiet, stylish, has an easy and very effective infotainment system, owns five star safety and shows every indication of being as reliable as the Yukon I owned for 20 years. This Suv will go to 60 mph in about 6.0 seconds flat. It has 20 inch wheels and tires and will turn better and stop faster than most every Suv. I have front and rear heated seats, cooled seats, a sunroof, memory settings and this is only an SLT. My gas mileage routinely exceeds EPA (with AWD). Driving from Milwaukee to Chicago, I averaged 29.8 MPG at 75 mph. EPA is 26 MPG at 65 mph. I truly LOVE that Car and Driver rates this SUV near the bottom. Better for me. I have the Home Run. The OWNERS of the GMC Acadia rate this SUV higher than Highlander Palisade, Explorer, Telluride and all the rest. Count me among them. FYI, not a GM employee, just a happy customer.

2024 Lexus GX 550 review
The car is great. It is extremely roomy, but it handles very well. My only negative is that it has a small gas tank and gets so few miles to the gallon so you feel like you are filling it up all the time if you drive a lot like I do. Otherwise it is an amazing car Lexus out did themselves with this one!
