I bought a $70,000 used vehicle and after having dealt with the Land Rover and Mercedes dealerships for years, the customer service at CarMax is just not up to their level. I had the pleasure of working with Michael Jorgensen, Javier Vega, and Mikel Najar, who, at every step of the process, not only made sure I never felt pressured but also left me feeling fully prepared and well-advised. The deal I received was so competitive that I flew all the way from California to get it. They even picked me up from the airport--something not even some of my closest friends would volunteer for. If you put them in a position to compete with another dealership's offer, more often than not, they'll match it (or probably beat it). When I arrived, the hospitality was second to none. Everything we agreed upon was upheld, and topics like extended warranties were communicated in a way that felt more like sincere guidance than a sales pitch, tailored to my specific needs. I had a really good experience at South Austin Toyota. I was driving a 2017 PriusC—my third car from this agency—but I needed something more up-to-date and I wanted another hybrid. When I saw a 2026 Camry and took a ride around the lot I immediately knew this was the one. I was sold on this blue model. I have owned cars all of my driving life but at this point it is more practical to lease one. Which I am doing through this agency. The whole process of leasing was clear and easy. The agents were very professional and helpful. All in all, the dealership gets 5 stars out of 5 and I’m driving another Toyota hybrid that I really am happy with.
