2001 Toyota Highlander review
I purchased my reliable Highlander on September 13, 2001, (I never forget, YES 2 days after the NY attack). This car went everywhere. In 2009 and 2011 I drove my two kids out of the hospital in it when they were born. I sold it (in less than one hour) on May 2019 with 289,000 miles. Never had any major issues, probably the worse was a CV joint. With regular maintenance it can go many more miles.

2001 Toyota Highlander review
I purchased my 2001 Highlander with 125,000 miles 5 years ago and have taken it cross country multiple times. Delivering food in college and never once had a breakdown except for an alternator at 240,000 miles. Other than scheduled maintenance I have never had to replace anything. No car beats this even for it being a 4 cylinder.

2001 Toyota Highlander review
Purchased my 2001 Highlander in 2004 from a dealer. Was really impressed how it drove and i become the family car for years to come. Mostly just maintenance like brakes and oil. Had only one issue and it was AC controls which would in winter blew cold air. So I did a research and repair a wire that comes loose from control unit. Fixed almost for nothing (solder wire back ) Dealer want like $600 to replace unit. Otherwise it was solid vehicle with great ride plenty room in 2 nd row seats and decent trunk. Even pulled a utility trailer without any issues. Unfortunately I have sold the vehicle in 2011 with still low mileage for something '' better". What a bummer I have realized over time.

Good experience. Ray and Jose are very personal and I really like my car. It's a little tricky to get there, but worth the effort.

2001 Toyota Highlander review
This is a replacement vehicle for my college age daughter. Toyotas are famously know for dependability, I have owned quite a few. Got this one checked out by my mechanic, says it's in great shape for an older vehicle. Great interior, great visibility, handles very well, nice, smooth ride and quick brakes.. Maintain it and the engine should last for many more miles!
